"Great for the convenience to the casino"
Overall we had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We won in the casino, so that made the stay that much better. Check in was okay. Customer service was okay. The people didn't make me feel like, wow, I'm staying her for a fun Labor Day Weekend. But it went relatively quickly. Our room was nice, although we didn't have much of a view. We looked at other […] hotel windows and over a garage roof. My husband thought the bed was comfortable, but I didn't like it. Too hard for me and I didn't sleep well. While all the furnishings were very nice, the carpet had some old stains and the bathroom had some cracked tiles on the floor. Everything was clean, but a bit worn. I can't imagine paying $500 for this room. This is the first time we stayed at the casino, and that was worth every penny. It was nice to go upstairs to take a break or a nap when we wanted. "Right in the middle of everything"
My boyfriend and I go to Foxwoods a lot and typically stay at MGM Grand. We decided to try out this hotel within Foxwoods and it was conveniently located near all casinos, entertainment, shopping and restaurants. The rates through hotels.com were perfect and the room itself was beyond spacious. They have his and her closets which helped to keep organized […] for sure. The one issue we came across was the maid. We had left our room around 10am knowing she was cleaning a room two doors away from ours so she could get right to ours in a timely fashion. She did not finish turning over or room until 415 PM in which we walked up 4 times every hour just to see her slowly working her way through 3 rooms this whole time. We unfortunately had to make a complaint to the front desk. They were horrified and called her directly to finish cleaning and apologized continuously. This was a one night stay enroute to another destination. The highlight of our stay was the king-size suite. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and view spectacular. I thought the hotel and the workers were so nice. Everytime we called for help with anything they were very nice and quick. One bad thing was that the bed sheets were so rough to sleep in. "This hotel needs to get themselves together!"
I had a wonderful time at this resort due to the activities and casino and would recommend it for a night of fun, but the hotel is an absolute disaster in terms of service and information. We should have known when we first called for a spa package and we're told there was no availability, but then called back and was told no problem. When sold on the hotel, we were told free bowling from 5-7, but when we arrived at 4:45 us and tons of other sold guests were told there was no bowling because of other reservations. Luckily, the bowling alley was kind and found a way to fit us in later. This was no thanks to the hotel which the alley complained about themselves because of constant misinformation given to gueSts. When we couldn't bowl, we went to ice skate which we were told was 4 dollars a person, to find out it was actually 15 a person. The rink lowered the rate for us but said that the hotel constantly gives these wrong rates. Then, the hotel tried to compensate us a little but offered no solutions other than a 50 dollar voucher. To top it off we spend money and hours in the casino and returned to our room late at night to find we didn't have toothpaste. We called the front desk to see if they had some to use and they said we would have to come buy it at the store ourselves. THEN, at checkout the front desk women said oh that's strange when I told her this complaint and pulled out disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste for guests. She had nothing to say except wow, that is bad service. Thanks for stating the obvious. If this hotel wants to be four diamonds then they should get their service together!

Gorgeous property. Quick and easy check in by professional and friendly staff. The room was spacious and well decorated. Bathroom was luxurious and large. Amazing view out the window of hills and forest. Lots of plugs for charging things. Loved it. Resort was very nice. Pool was great - beautiful and clean.

Rooms are impeccable.. we had a smoking room on both the 12th & 18th flloors which were both perfect .. no stale ordors at all. Great big bathroom with good lighting.. elevator takes you right to casino.. all rooms have fridge & safe.
"Luxury price, but not a luxury room"

We had a King Deluxe Suite. Room was nice; good amount of space, nice furniture, nice bathroom. But not worth anywhere near the $360 they charged us (including an additional 20% for fees and taxes)! As noted in another review, signage for parking is horrible - we ended up in the wrong part of the parking garage for our hotel. Once at the hotel, it took us 25 minutes to check in. The only time I've ever waited longer to check in was in Las Vegas. Why can't large casino hotels, who know how to deal with large numbers of people, get you checked in quickly?? Our room was on a non-smoking floor, and the floor was pleasantly and surprisingly free of smoke. Heating/cooling worked acceptably, but the thermostat was so bright that we had to cover it with a sock at night. Hallway noise (late night revelers returning and early morning people up and about) was bad. There was a large gap under the room door, which made things worse. Throughout the multi-hotel/casino complex, there is a large selection of places to eat. Everything is quite expensive, but I found the quality to be pretty good. I would stay here again IF we could get a room for about half of what they charged us.

Stayed here for a Business Conference. This hotel is inside the Foxwoods Casino complex. There are various entrances, so make sure you call ahead and find out which entrance to drive into. Parking is valet or self-park. Signage is very poor here, and so many cars got lost trying to find the free self-park lot. Once inside the hotel, one is awed by a full wall of waterfalls and marble floors and walls. The hotel and lobby are very modern. Check-in (for me) was very slow! Hotel rooms offer a great view (high floors) and are very modern. There is Juniors restaurant in the lobby (see my reviiew) and somewhere else on the floor is a little alcove of fast-food restaurants. Also on the second floor are more restaurant, but I nevr had the chance to see what was up there. There is a theatre there as well that holds about 4,000 for seating. If not for the poor signs, would have given this a 5 star rating! Would definitely come back and stay here.

Thank goodness my husband and I are good natured and were going to see Seinfeld so we were going with the flow. Went to check in to this hotel , I had made a reservation online for a king non smoking room in October and then even called to confirm only to arrive and be told they did not have any of those rooms available . My question: what about my reservation? The answer: oh it's a request not a reservation. Um, excuse me? No I made a reservation, the point being to hold my room. My husband responded with the standard Seinfeld response " do you even know what a reservation is?" Jokingly, we weren't being rude. Erica the lovely young lady helping us was very polite. She then suggested we could have a handicapped room or two queen beds, um No. Then maybe a smoking king room that she would have sprayed for us and we could check out first. Well okay I will check it out . She then felt bad about all this since it was mentioned in the reservation that it was my husbands birthday so she tried to get us a $50 food comp. All of a sudden a room becomes available? But now it's not ready, okay let's go get lunch while they clean it. So remember that they are cleaning it at 3pm. We have lunch (see Cedars review) and then pick up the tickets for our show before getting a call that our room is ready and we can get the key. Be advised this was all about two and a half hours in walking and eating- foxwoods is huge! Room 1945 a renovated room that comes with almost $50 in taxes and resort fees is very nice. However, my two complaints are that if this room was just cleaned why is there a layer of dust across the entire bathroom vanity and second not to do with cleaning. It was brutally hot! We had our thermostat set at 64 and the room was sweltering. Also the walls are very thin so if you want to have a late night be prepared to be awoken by talking neighbors who are blow drying their hair at 7 am on Sunday morning. All in all the hotel is beautiful and if not for every pleasant employee I met and all the laughs we had watching Jerry Seinfeld I would not have stayed the night.

I stayed here for a business event. The rooms were very large and very nicely decorated. Well worth the money. The hotel is quite grand, just like Vegas. I would stay here again in a second. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They have high end restaurants right down to basic restaurants.

Taking advantage of a free room offer, we chose Grand Peqout Tower for an overnight stay in November, 2014. The lobby is amazing and the staff was cordial and professional. Room 1010 was beautiful, clean, new and a bit sterile. There was literally no view, but as far as amenities, it was excellent. We could hear the folks in the room next door as well as some thumping bass coming from... somewhere. Never look a gift horse, or a free room, in the mouth, is our motto and we were not disappointed. We did check-out through the television in the morning and all went seamlessly. If you get a good price, go ahead and book here. You are right in the casino and surrounded by good restaurants.
"Overcharged for Room at Grand Pequot"

Short version: we were charged $458 when we were told we would only have to pay $129. -- On Friday, Oct 17 around 6PM, my fiance and I checked into the Foxwoods Grand Pequot Tower as a part of a wedding party. We planned on staying for Friday and Saturday night. Upon check-in, we asked what our room rate and total would be for the weekend to confirm. At this time, the front desk clerk informed us that our total for the weekend would be $129. Since this number was much lower than the previous rate we had been told, we asked how she came to this number. She said that our Friday night had been "comped" resulting in a $0 charge and that our Saturday night rate had been adjusted to $129 (weekend total of $129). This was a lot cheapier than we had expected to pay and we figured it was due to the volume booked for the wedding had brought the rate down. When we asked why this favorable adjustment had been made, she couldn't give us a straight answer. Furthermore, when we asked for a print out of the quoted rate for confirmation later, she was unable to provide it. She said that the system would recognize the change on Sunday when the billing process went through at 2am. We found this suspicious and wondered why they would be hesitant to give us a print out of this new amount. We asked to speak to a manager which is when we were introduced to "Heidi." She also looked at the system with the clerk and confirmed that this information was in fact correct. She printed out what she currently had but this showed the balance of $458. She said this was the only print out she could provide since the adjustment wouldn't go through until Sunday and that I would have to sign this to confirm but would see the changed rate on Sunday. She said that if we had any questions/issues, to ask for her. When we went to check out bill on Friday, we found that we had been charged the $458 amount. I went to speak to the staff and magically no one could find this adjustment noted in the system and furthermore Heidi couldn't recall our conversation. I'm thinking this might be some kind of scam to encourage you to spend more money in the casino thinking you saved a bunch on the front end but won't check your bill to see how much you were actually charged. We've tried to talk with multiple people and have been shopped around to various managers and personnel with no end in sight.

The hotel is vey clean-maid service daily-internet access.The wallls in this tower is very good compaired to the TwoThree Inn's(walls are too thin-)-Casino is right downstairs-with access to the other casinos on property.They have a hairdryer-shampoo-soap-you areall set oran overnight-as far as the casino goes-many machines-may the luck be with you
