It was a really nice stay. The owners couldn't be more helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. I stayed in room 1 and it wasn't spacious but it was great for just me. Will try to stay here again!

Greeted by friendly and helpful staff on arrival. The place is kept reasonably well and there is free parking for a few cars on site and plenty more on the road. First impressions of the guest house from the road were encouraging, upon entering,we were greeted warmly, but, upon being shown our room,the photo,s on the website didn't reflect the true size or our room. What the owner had done was devide one generous size room into two small rooms by stud partitioning, which meant it was'nt what we expected,also,the […] toillet/shower room was basically a cupboard !!!!!! Having driven the A470 from Cardiff, it was a relief to arrive at The Northwood safely and find it so well located. Nice, clean guest House. Room was lovely, apart from the position of the TV. It was too high and should not have been on the wall at the side of the beds. Could not see it at all while lying on one of the beds. Would have been better in front of the beds. Breakfast was lovely and even the dog was offered a sausage. Very friendly couple.

It's a small bed and breakfast but the Northwood is the best place I stayed on my trip. The room was comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom, but the best part was the staff. They made me feel like a guest, not just another customer. Highly recommended.
