- I guess the hotel is offering free breakfast to all the guest, so if you take breakfast at the peak hours, it's a chaos. - wifi is very weak. My ipad only works if I move it close to the door. - room is clean and tidy.

there is no closet in the room. good for one night but uncomfortable for a longer stay. the room is small; just enough to pass next to the bed, no extra space. breakfast OK, nothing to write home about (in comparison with Park Inn 5 min away, for example). the view of my room was on some office windows. very basic bathroom supply, not like some hotels […] of similar level. in general, the level is probably overrated, at least in terms of the cost. Good location. Staff dont have any experience. They are all kids. Pillows are nightmare. Room is unbelievably small. However, rooms and the hotel in general is very clean. Breakfast is ok.

stayed over the weekend for 2 nights. Perfect location in the center of berlin close to food courts, free WIFI and breakfast is included in the price this place is a no-brainer folks! stay here when you come to berlin! only con is room is a bit smallish (euro style) and it was a tad bit cold.

It's difficult for us to rate the H2 Hotel - because they upgraded us to the 4star hotel next door! :-) But their reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and people seemed to enjoy relaxing in the simple reception/dining area. The Beer Garden restaurant a couple of doors down was a great place to go for dinner, with loads of atmosphere, good food […] and service, and menus in English (if you ask for them). I booked the hotel for myself and 20 other travellers as we were in Berlin on a Stag Do. The Hotel was clean, tidy, modern and the rooms were perfect for what we required. Cheap accommodation close to night life. The price was also very good and until we got there we didn't realise it included breakfast.

Stayed for 2 nights and was in good location but the rooms reminded me of a hostel as the twin beds were very close and not much room to move around. However the price was good including breakfast so cant complain. Otherwise bathroom and shower were excellent.

An excellent hotel within easy reach of all the main sites in Berlin. We walked to checkpoint charlie and Brandenburg gate... it was perfect for what we wanted. The hotel was perfectly situated near the Fernsehturm and AlexanderPlatz with most of the places we wanted to visit within walking distance. Efficient, functional, machine-like hotel, very convenient if you are in Berlin for the city and not for the hotel. Clean, quiet, ok breakfast, open cafe. It is spot on for us who were all around Berlin all day to study siedlings etc., and only a short walk to more "romantic" sites. Also close to the S- and U-bahn.

Other reviews mentioned lack of storage/wardrobe space, so I was fully prepared, as I was travelling on my own this was not a problem. The hotel décor can best be described as Ikea. The hotel is popular with school trips and group tours, given that there are obvious busy periods at breakfast, there was never a long queue or lack of seating.

Centrally located in Alexanderplatz near to the railway station and good bus and tram stops nearby.Stayed there for 9 nights. Good clean place to stay, staff were helpful. Breakfast could have done with a bit more choice, scrambled eggs every morning, fair enough, but could also have done with, maybe sausages or bacon included in the choice. Coffee […] machines and fruit juice machines always seemed to have long queues at them along. I know that this is not the fault of the hotel but the manners of some people at breakfast were just terrible, pushing into queues, not asking to be excused when pushing past into a table to sit and eat. Funnily enough the most friendly people we spoke to were Spanish, there were a few different ones there. They had 3 iPads for use in the foyer but could not get any use from them because of kids on there constantly, saw one boy watching a film on the iPad. I think the hotel should restrict the amount of time each person has to use them, maybe 15 minutes, that should be long enough for most people on holiday, I have stayed at Ibis hotels that use time restrictions and this allowed more people to use their computers. They also had free wifi but the signal was very poor in the foyer where the iPads were. I had to stand at my hotel room door to get a decent signal for my phone, go a few feet to the bed and the wifi signal disappears. Otherwise, a good deal for those who wish a place to sleep and have breakfast before going out. Read more

We were within walking distance of all the main sites that we wanted to see. Also really close(5min walk) to Alexanderplatz station with its direct train to the airport. For the price, I cannot fault the hotel. Really clean and very quiet, hardly noticed the massive thunderstorm at night!! Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Also worth a mention […] is the 24 hour cafe there serving freshly made pizza, pasta and huge salads at very reasonable prices, useful if you arrive late and tired. Extremely agreeable. Bedroom impeccable and very quiet. All hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel is very well situated next to Alexanderplatz and ALL the public transport you need :notably buses 100 & 200, trains U & S, TXL to the airport which provided easy access to the city at all times. Geat hotel for the price and good location. Rooms are minimalistic but practical and there are no frills. Breakfast was sufficient. Beds were very comfortable despite the small rooms and we were happy overall although we would have preferred to pay more for more luxury.

I was travelling with my Mum and on arrival they were able to give us our rooms, which was great as it was only about 12:15pm. However despite having booked 2 double rooms we were allocated rooms with 2 single beds and 2 bunkbeds with no wardrobe space for hanging clothes. After […] some discussion with reception we were then allocated a double room each at 3pm. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
