We stayed one night with my kiddos and they loved the indoor pool, and for my wife and I everything was great.

Overall it was a great hotel, very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. The pool and hot tub were wonderful also. We did have a couple of issues. The first room we were in had a non-working fridge so they switched us to another room right away. The second issue was the washer and dryers offered for guest use neither […] worked well. The maintenance man was looking at them and we did get our money back out of them. The manager allowed us to use the hotel dryer to finish drying our clothes which helped. The Hampton Inn is the newest and nicest in Southwest Kansas, but unfortunately the management is not up to the task. My first morning there the wake-up call came an hour earlier than requested. When I talked to the front desk later that day and inquired whether they had adjusted their automated system off Daylight Savings Time, the manager said "Oh--that […] must be it. I've had about a dozen people say something to me about their wake-up calls..." This happened a full week after the time change--imagine how many people they awoke an hour early! The night before I was leaving I requested a late check-out. The desk clerk said 1 PM wasn't a problem and that she would ask if 2 PM was possible. The next day when I checked to see if 2 PM was possible, I was told by the morning manager that even 1 PM was out of the question and he would need to charge me an additional $44 for a late check out. Trust me, it's not like they had a bunch of people waiting to get into their rooms--the place was empty... So if you're willing to put up with incompetent and unhelpful management, this is your best choice in the area. Read more

Hotel was comfortable, clean bedspread for each new stay. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel over all the others in Liberal, KS. Need to do a little bit better on breakfast.

Everything was beyond my expectations. It was by far the nicest motel I have stayed in this year, regardless of cost. This motel was apparently brand new, yet the staff was very qualified to handle our neds.

This is the best place to stay in Liberal, Kansas. The quality of the lodging was better than I have seen even in larger cities. The staff provides a quality stay with high-end amenities that you see only in expensive big city hotels. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and extensive.

After my stay, I called the front desk several times to address an issue with my bill that I had be assured would be credited back to my credit card. No one has ever called me back or responded to my messages. Im still waiting after 1month. Terrible customer service!

This hotel was a nice hotel. The stay was comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, the continental breakfast was excellent. The only complaint I have is that the pool and hot tub was not satisfactory. The hot tub wasn't working properly, and was not very hot. This is a new facility with quality and materials not to be found in other local establishments. The staff was friendly and helpful. It did cost a little more than other hotels in the area, but the complementary hot breakfast each day saved us enough to make the cost about even with the others. We had to wash a load of clothes and when the dryer malfunctioned, […] the front desk staff person made sure that our clothes got dried at no charge to us. Although there were a lot of guests our room was quiet. It helped that the hotel was set back from the highway far enough that we didn't hear the constant stream of trucks that travel this truck route. I used the exercise room each day and found it to have the essential equipment for a good cardio workout. The swimming pool was good sized and a great way for the kids to work off their extra energy. Hotel opened in January 2011. Still had a "new car" smell to it! Everything was in new condition. Amenities were great from the very contemporary continental breakfast area that was roomy and modern to the cookies on the counter for guests. I booked a normal queen room, but at check-in I asked if it was possible to upgrade to a suite. The hotel was […] full that night so they couldn't accommodate my request. Though I had no reason to expect anything for it and didn't ask, they voluntarily took $30 off my rate since they couldn't help me. I think that's going over and above for the customer.
