Very comfortable hotel, luxurious rooms, wonderfully kitsch lobby with late-night crooner, and among the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. Hotel is set in parkland with nothing much else around, however just a few stops by tram from the centre of town.

This is our 2nd stay here. they give a free tram pass which makes it very easy to get into town to see all of Documenta. We got a free coffee pot, free apples and the desk spoke perfect English. Only problem was cost of WIFI (9 euros for 5 hours) and high cost of breakfast buffet. There are many places by the hotel to get cheap breakfasts and sundries. With window open, the near by trams can be a bit noisy but otherwise the hotel is quiet for sleeping.

This hotel represents the best of German tradition: comfy room with wireless, good breakfast, and good service. The local neighborhood has limited food choices, but it is a quick ride on the light rail either to the Schloss and train station or to the downtown. Fortunately the light rail is just out the front door. It certainly represents a good value in Kassel.

Det jag ville ha var en övernattning till rimligt pris då jag var på väg till Österrike.Kassel området är precis lagom efter en första dagsetapp. Trots sen ankomst kunde detta lilla Gashaus fixa fram en god middag. Härligt genyt. Frukost inget överdåd men fullt tillräckligt.Lätt att hitta till.

Alles was onberispelijk. Bovendien zijn de uitbaters van dit hotel buitengewoon vriendelijke mensen. Tip: bij routebeschrijving waarschuwen dat dit etablissement NIET in het eigenlijke stadje Zierenberg ligt, maar in het Stadtteil Oelshausen, zo'n 5 à 6 km daar vandaan.

Litet med välskött hotell. Bra frukost och den middag som köptes på hotellet. var mycket god och prisvärd. Badrummet var fräscht och rent. Använde hotellet även en andra natt på min hemresa genom Tyskland.Fick denna gång ett annat rum. Även detta rum var bra. Prisvärt boende som jag gärna rekommenderar.
