After spending a week in another part of the country we needed a hotel in Rome for 2 nights preferably near the airport. This one is located in Fiumicino which is very close to FCO. We had planned to stay at a well-known chain hotel but also wanted to find a good restaurant in the area. Research led to this boutique hotel which houses an amazing restaurant. […] The lobby is decorated beautifully with a unique chandelier, comfortable couch and lovely orchids in the front entrance room. Mariam at the front desk was totally sweet and did her best to communicate with us in English. We enjoyed the breakfast and the wi-fi. Our room was a little small but very clean. Next time I would ask for a balcony room if available. If you appreciate fine dining do not miss the elegant seafood restaurant. The chef has been lauded for his vision and talents - deservedly so! Al Porticcolo was terrific. We chose it for proxmity to FCO, hotels.com patron's comments and room pictures. Hotel and restaurant decor and presentation was excellent - I loved the modern, sleek colors and furnishings. We had a small meal in the fantastic restaurant. The chef greeted us, and the menu offerings were wonderful. Only two servers spoke […] some english, but the local clientele filled the dining rooms, which again were elegantly appointed with fine art pieces. The owners have created a hidden jewel in the Roma area. (The only problem was that room #16 needed the toilet seat to be replaced; it was managable but broken when we arrived; housekeeping should have reported this.) But overall very satisfied! Read more

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside, it is delightfully appointed, very clean and staffed by very helpful people. The attached restaurant is AMAZING! Michelin starred! It is about a 15-minute drive to FCO, so it is not right next to the airport, but taxis take care of the trip easily. The hotel and restaurant are run by a local couple […] and the front desk is occasionally staffed by the chef's (husband) father who is a long-time Rome resident and restauranteur himself. This ended up easily being our favorite hotel and meal on this trip. Did I mention that the restaurant earned a Michelin star?!? Highly recommended. Once we figured out how to get to this hotel by bus from the Roma airport, we were very happy we stayed here. Just persist in asking around at the airport and they will point you in the direction of the city bus and the driver was very helpful getting us to the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, right next to a very active harbor. It was fun to […] watch the fishing boats coming in and selling their catches. There are many restaurants right nearby. The hotel was quiet, clean and safe, which are our three top priorities. The breakfast was included and was very good, with homemade cakes and pastries. The customer service of all the staff was excellent. Their English was very good. The room was large and the shower, with the round, rain type shower head was refreshing. They provided soap, shampoo and shower gel. They reserved a taxi for us for the next morning and it arrived right on time and it cost 15 Euros to go to the airport. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel if you need to fly out of the Roma airport the next morning. Read more

Room was small but comfortable and nicely decorated. First floor room had a small high window, so no view at all. Bathroom was beautifully appointed with new and gleaming fixtures, but no bathtub. If you want a tub, be sure to request it up front. Overall pleasant experience for a one night stay prior to flight home.

I stayed here the night before a flight back to the states, after an 8 day stay in Rome and Sorrento. It was perfectly fine for its purposes and the area was actually better than I had expected (though still a little shady). The room was spotless though I was on the ground floor and yes, it was noisy. The gentleman receptionist tried very hard but he […] could not speak English, which presented a few challenges when needing a place to grab some dinner and arrange for transportation to the airport in the morning. Close to Airport. Room was clean and comfortable, Air conditioning worked well. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was standard European type with fresh pastries and lunchmeat, very nice. Would reccomend it to others.

This was a special place to find. Our room was small, but the hotel was very clean and charming. It has a very fine restaurant, and breakfast including fresh homemade bread and cake was served in the elegant dining room. Staff was helpful. This is a classic small hotel with dining room. The rooms are clean, well furnished, with new bathrooms, and entirely satisfactory. There is parking just across the street from the entrance. There's a marina around the corner, and the beach is a short walk away. The surrounding area is largely residential with small apartment buildings. The dining room […] is elegant and definitely upscale, has won a Michelin star, and is accordingly expensive. It is NOT routine or standard Italian restaurant cooking. Portions are smaller and more complex than typical ristorante fare. The ride to Fiumicino airport is about twenty minutes (in "rush hour" traffic), so it's a nice place to spend a last evening in Italy. Read more

This hotel was perfect for extra night in Italy and an early morning departure flight from FCO airport. Staff was very friendly, helped us line up a taxi for early pickup and went out of their way to accomodate all of our needs. The rooms were modern, newly decorated and very clean. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning wasn't very good and the room was too hot even for a mid September night. Small beach and harbour nearby and quite a few restaurants to choose from. Good location for airport and staff were very friendly and helpful. this hotel is a great solution for travelers that are not planning to stay in rome or are waiting for an early flight. it is 5 minutes drive from rome airport. you will need to take a taxi that will cost you 20 euro at night and 15 euro at day time. I stayed here for one night in July 2011 and I loved it. The room was new and beautiful, the AC worked like no other room I've stayed in in Europe! DasHotel ist für 1 Nacht (vor oder nach Flug) durchaus akzeptabel. Allerdings gab es den angekündigten Flughafen-Shuttle nicht (Taxi kostete 18 Euro!).

Mi esposa y yo llegamos por una noche antes de tomar el vuelo a la mañana siguiente del aeropuerto Fiumicino, cansados al llegar con las maletas después del viaje, tuvimos que subir cargando con ellas por la escalera a nuestra habitación , ya que no hay elevador y no tenían bell boy. Nos pareció que le dan mas importancia al servicio de restaurant que […] tienen en la planta baja que al mismo hotel, donde tuvimos que esperar para que nos dieran la llave. Mycket fräscht hotell med trevlig personal nära flygplatsen i Rom. Enda nackdelen är att det kan vara svårt att få tag på taxi från flygplatsen, jag fick ta nån sorts Airport Shuttle för 25 Euro.
