      The hotel is lovely with beautiful trees surrounding the property. My room was spacious, had a small balcony and a small refrigerator in the room. I was only supposed to stay one night but the blizzard required another night's stay. The HUGE asset at this hotel is the staff. Everyone I encountered was polite, professional, courteous, and eager to help. I ate in their restaurants multiple times and found the food to be better than the average hotel food. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay in the Lakewood/Golden area.

    The hotel was nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The woman checking us in was training and that experience was good. Our room was easy to get to and the elevators were fast. We came specifically for the entertainment and the show room was fun and personal.

    Found the room to be much nicer now that they have it remodeled. The outside of the rooms, ie hallways, could use some tlc as the doors showed scuff marks and signs of the cleaning folk running the carts into them.

    This was the first time we stayed in Central City verses Black Hawk and we will make this a regular stop! The Hotel was great and we had a lot of fun in Central City. The casino was great also. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

    The room was very nice and comfortable. The only complaint was with the Pit Boss in the Casino. We went to celebrate my son's birthday and the Pit Boss was a complete GROUCH to us and especially to the dealers. The dealers were very nice. But you know what they say about a bad apple in the bunch. We won't gamble there again.

    We booked with their hotel, even though it is .8 of a mile away from the rest of the town, because it was cheaper. When we arrived we asked about their shuttles and taxi cabs. They gladly offered both, saying that the shuttle only ran until midnight (I think) and the cabs ran all night long. Not only did we get to the shuttle location before midnight, […] the shuttle driver completely ignored us and drove on by as we frantically waved our arms. And then when we called a taxi they had none in the entire area of Blackhawk!? We called the hotel explaining that the hotel shuttle drove right by us (I think they could wait for their shift to end because it was their last run) and that the taxi service they promote could not come get us...and they said 'to bad'. They told us their was nothing they could do and that we would have to walk back to the hotel in freezing cold weather. After the terrifying walk back with creepers honking their horns and people slowing down and yelling things at us we got back to the hotel. Not only did they not even say sorry about their horrible shuttle, but they said they are not responsible for their drivers or the taxi's!?! If they are not responsible, they should not promote them when people arrive. Read more
