the front desk staff, restaurant and bar staff were personable and eager to please. the hotel location was excellent. housekeeping was lacking: one day the room was not made up when we returned at 3pm. after a call was put thru the bed was hurriedly made, bathroom wiped-up BUT no bath mat was left, no glasses were washed or was the tea cup washed. the next day the cup was washed but the glassess were not washed again.

Good rate, kind staff, perfect location in Old Town, clean. Room was smallish but comfortable enough. Many clientele appeared to be European businessmen, suggesting that the hotel's four stars are respected as such here despite its age. Certainly not a new place; I did not stay in the renovated rooms on the fourth floor.

excellente car nous avons trouvé un personnel sympa et disponible et arrangeant a toute demande et une qualite de service hors ducommun pour un prix plus qu'abordable ...avons gouté à leur table qui mérite franchement le détour. Habitués des week end repos en hotellerie nous sommes déja pret a y retourner mais plus lontemps avec des amis
