This was a rare treat. I chose the hotel because I am tired of the strip mall - cookie cutter places in Lexington Park I normally stay in when I visit my son at St Mary's College. Oddly enough, I chose this place because it looked lovely on the website, and hotels.,com claimed it was just 5 miles from St Mary's City. Well, that might be if you have […] a boat - as the crow flies, but in truth it is more like 15 miles from campus. I would have been annoyed if this place hadn't been so lovely and comfortable. The hotel is in a narrow spit of land , and all rooms have a stunning view of the water, all have balconies as well. The only drawbacks were that the restaurant right next door was not open during my stay, so food was not as easily accessible as it might have been, and there was no continental breakfast offered as advertised. Just coffee. No big deal really, but it would have been nice. I would recommend this hotel highly for a romantic getaway, next time I will bring my husband! A perfectly gorgeous setting, very comfortable clean rooms and a reasonable price. Read more

The hotel was great. Beautiful view looking out over the water 15 feet below and I could see the sunrise in the morning. Only about 20 minute drive to Pax River. The continental breakfast was pretty sparse though.

Stayed 1 night for my son's visit to St. Mary's college. Elevator was out and breakfast was yogurts and cereal but room was big, clean, and comfortable. We would stay again if we are in the area

Excellent. I just can't say enough about it. Pros: Restaurant and bar immediately next door. Incredible views everywhere. Hotel staff friendly. Room spacious. Real balcony off room overlooking St. George River. New Construction. Free access to kayaks and bikes. Quiet location.Good coffee. Off the mainstream for sure. Near historic locations like St. […] Marys City and Point Lookout. Cons: King suite needed a desk for working and dressers for clothes. Seriously underfurnished. Rooms noisy. Heard guy next door snooring. Not cool. Wimpy Continental Breakfast but suitable. Far from main drag in Lexington Park but that could be a plus given Lexington Park. The hotel is very nice, and the views are spectacular. The location is "out of the way" which is a plus or minus depending on your perspective. We enjoyed the huge bathroom and private balcony, as well as the nice touches including small kitchenette with microwave, fridge and sink in the STANDARD room!

I stayed here during a recent business trip and was extremely pleased. It was a little out of the way, but very clean, loved the decor and kitchenette was a convenience. Bathroom was spacious and upscale and linens were fresh and very clean. Will definitely come back for pleasure!

A very nice hotel with clean rooms and great views of the water. Sits out with its own pier a few miles past Piney Point Lighthouse. While we were there the Bar & Grill on property was closed so don't know about the food quality. The breakfast amenities were scarce (cereal, milk, coffee, juice). The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. There […] aren't any restaurants nearby so we took advantage of the microwave/refrigerator/eating utensils provided (Food Lion grocery store is about 8 miles back toward town). Took drive to end of Piney Point Road and saw lots of ospreys. If you like to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is a nice place to lay your head for a night or two. Read more

The room was well equipped, the bed comfortable, the views were right over the water and a nice balcony to enjoy the spring sunshine. Unfortunately we were too early in the season for the restaurant which would have been an added bonus if it had been open. Otehrwise a great place to stay. .
