"Sunset Boulevard- STARMARK"
We stayed at a villa in Kissimee ( Sunset Boulevard ). Location was great. However if you haven't got a car you have to walk about 30 minutes to the nearest bus stop.But some villas are much further away from public transport. It is worth checking the lynx service to see how near you are. We booked a 4 bedroom gold. The overall villa was good.cleanliness […] was fine, but the games room was very poor. a small pool table with 1 cue and no black ball! The pool was nice, however the netting around the pool was missing in parts on the roof. The alarms for the doors to the pool were not working. either no batteries or missing sensors. "Quiet resort for all age groups"
Quality of house far exceeded our expectations - we were expecting a two bedroomed apartment and were given a three bedroomed house. Pleasantly quiet resort particularly at night. Wonderful wildlife on the lakes. Good facilities for families at the pool and playground. Downside was bad information such as being told in advance that we would be charged […] 100 dollars a day for cleaning and charged for pool heating when we didn't have one. We nearly cancelled at this point until we contacted Starmark and found this was misinformation. Also lack of information in the property itself, for instance we were not told about the extremely efficient daily rubbish collection and where to leave rubbish. "Starmark - not the most welcoming place to stay."
The house was the perfect size for our family of six. Unfortunately, most of the consumables you would expect to see were not sufficient. For our 11 night stay, there were 2 rolls of toilet paper, two dishwasher tablets, two garbage bags. There was no dish soap, dish cloths or kleenex provided. I would expect something like laundry detergent to be […] excluded, but all of the other items listed above were not sufficient. We purchased toilet paper, dish soap and dish cloths which were only partially used by the time we left. Also, during our stay, we produced enough recyclable waste, but there were no recycle bins available. First time in a villa and I got to say Starmark Villa's were perfect. Convenient to all parks, shopping and many more attractions that Orlando has to offer. Stayed in a Silver rated vacation home in Davenport. The neighborhood was quiet and secure, backed onto golf course. The pool area was clean and spacious. Our vacation was from Feb. 14 to Feb. 21, 2012. A three bedroom condo. We were very pleased with the condo. Clean, with everything in the kitchen that we needed. Reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend these condos. One suggestion for the owners. The small little bars of soap left in the bathrooms are somewhat of a joke for this level […] of accomodations. "Definitely a gem!"
We booked with Starmark for spring break and it was the best choice for our family. We all had our own rooms and space, the kids loved the pool and games room. We loved having our own kitchen and laundry room. It was a gated complex which was nice and quiet, we even met the neighbours who were very pleasant. It was close to Disney and the airport and […] the hwy. We took day trips to Daytona and the Kennedy Space Ctr, which are both worth the trip. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby as well. The home came outfitted with what we needed, extra linens and towels were in the closet. Plenty of dishes, wifi is included, which was nice as well and there were even dvd's to watch. I contacted Starmark before booking through expedia and the service was pleasant, the agent was able to answer all my questions and kept in touch with me via email as our trip came up. Perdemos uma diária e passamos por um grande stress ao chegarmos no escritório da Starmark e descobrirmos que o escritório fechava às 18:00h. Isto não está escrito no site e nem no Vaucher. À meia noite, cansados da viagem, tivemos que bater de porta em porta atrás de outro hotel para passar a noite. Perdemos uma diária, além de termos que pagar por […] uma outra em outro hotel. "Para que procura residência próxima à Disney"
Como a minha opção foi por alugar uma residência, vou me restringir a comentar sobre a casa que me foi disponibilizada e a sua localização. A casa estava localizada em um condomínio de residências, em Kissimee, ao sul de Orlando, próximo à supermercados e ao complexo da Disney. Quanto às instalações da residência, fiquei muito satisfeito, a casa tinha […] todos os equipamentos e utensílios necessários, era ampla e limpa. Tinha também piscina, que não usei em função do frio, e uma jacuzi. Minha única restrição foi quanto a não existir suporte da empresa fora do expediente e aos finais de semana. Tivemos um problema com o código de segurança de entrada no condomínio, que nos foi fornecida errada (vencida), e como era no final de semana, tivemos de contar com a ajuda de vizinhos e da síndica para obtermos a senha correta. Não é um hotel e acho que isso deveria ser informado no site. São casas localizadas em bairros residenciais super afastados de tudo. A casa que me deram estava com o encanamento entupido, foi um inferno... "einmal und nie wieder"
Das Haus mit 4 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern war sehr groß. Die Teppiche in den Räumen waren sehr dreckig und abgenutzt. Der allgemeine Zustand des Hauses war nicht gerade der beste (dreckiger Herd/Mikrowelle/Krabbeltierchen). Man musste für jede Kleinigkeit extra bezahlen, wie z.B. Safe (einmalig 30 USD), Grill (wöchentlich 60 USD), Poolheizung pro Tag […] 35 USD (mindestens für 3 Tage zu mieten und 24 Stunden vorher anzukündigen). Pool wurde in den 14 Tagen erst am vorletzten Tag gereinigt. Starmark Vacation ist sehr unflexibel. Alles in allem würden wir nie wieder bei Starmark Vacation ein Haus buchen. The responsible manager (night time) did not know about our arrival but quickly found a solution. Nothing negative to say about the house rented: good quality and very clean installations.
