"was happy with room"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The breakfast could be a bit more healthy. All carbohydrates except for hard boiled eggs, green apples ( very tart ) and a few oranges. The room was clean, comfortable, the mattress was great to sleep on, bathroom was roomy, but the coffee could have been stronger in the room. Also the coffee downstairs needs to be better. Very weak. Had to go to a coffee shop to get real coffee.

The first locomotive chugged through Phoenix on July 4, 1887; this single event cemented the city’s enduring reign as Arizona’s economic hub. This rich history is on display at the Arizona Railway Museum in Chandler. A different type of economy—casino gambling—is prominent today at nearby Native American tribal lands. The Firebird International Raceway features drag racing and drag-boat racing.

"A Clean, Comfortable Room"
As the title says, that's what I got. A small, "hole in the wall" type mom & pop operation that didn't look at all welcoming with it's tiny frontage on North Arizona in Chandler. Boy, was I surprised! I stayed there for 8 nights. A really narrow driveway opened into a courtyard parking lot and there was ample parking. The rooms were recently remodeled […] (at least mine was) with nicely tiled floors in the sitting room(!) and bathroom. The bathroom fixtures were new and elegant. . My room also had a refrigerator and microwave, the bed was comfortable and whe whole place was clean and neat. I'll definitely stay there again! Read more
"Redwood Hotel, a must-not see"
Holey towels, paper thin pillows, "courtyard view" was of the parking lot. Bare bones room, and a live cockroach in the bathroom. The price was right but not worth the conditions. We checked out after one night of a planned 4 night stay.
