Aunts Its […] not a hotel it is a boarding house. expect to buy your own toilet paper and wash your own sheets and your own towels. This is not a suite, its a big boarding house. my room was big with a sink and a mini fridge and a very small bathroom, with the shower almost on top of the toilet. The bathroom had a leak. This boarding house is a mix of tourist and long term tenants. This hotel advertisement is a huge lie. No black out drapes, although the staff quickly provided blankets to darken the room when I complained. Read more

For the money I paid, I'm satisfied to rate this as a 1 star hotel. This is for really low budget traveler. If you are coming from USA and staying here and looking for something luxury, not the place. I used this for a short stay (overnight) cause I had an early flight 6am and just need to rest from a long drive coming from Nueva Ecija to Manila.

The Good: The place is extremely cheap, has air conditioning, close to mall and local shops, close to cab and transport, and has a television with up to 100 channels. 1 of the 3 staff was quite friendly. There were no mosquitoes in the room. Although it says that an "Accessible Washroom" is an option, all rooms have a bathroom that also works as a shower. The […] Bad: The hotel is actually more like an apartment suite for rent and they actually call it that in the Philippines. The hotel staff cleans the room only once a week or until you are gone or request for it. There is no internet access at all and the television set is small and old. They do not offer food on site and the staff speaks broken English. 2 of the 3 staffs were not so friendly and this can be due to their speaking abilities. There was no laundry service as well. The Ugly: There are large cockroaches in the area and I found two large ones in my room. The beds are stiff and the shower has no hot water. There was a line of ants that was making their way to the sink in the room and I had to buy a bug repellent to stop them. The local noise from the neighbourhood (e.g. roosters, cars, etc.) are quite clear from inside the room. Summary: You get what you pay for basically. Although some of the staff does try to help, you have to ask first. In addition, I am not sure how well you can sleep knowing that a large cockroach, or any other insect really, can easily make it's way into your room. The place never feels clean but it is deep in Manila and you really do can to experience the culture to it's fullest, if that's what you want. Read more

for some reason the dangay wasnt expecting us but they gave us i can only describe as the least best room,i would have looked else where had i know what was to come,e.g ants,cockroaches,terrible insect bites on my ankles..traffic noise nearby,noisy but working a.c.no hot water.i would pay more than stay there again.
