What a delightful experience and what a find in downtown Boise!! Get off Airport Row and all the chain motels and hotels and stay in this terrific little inn. It was only 5 or six blocks from our restaurant du jour - the Leku Ona Basque, so an ez walk and their was plenty of parking. The self-check-in feature was also a welcome change to the hassle one gets at check-in time so often on the road. A little unusual in that there is no on-site staff; it is all self-serve. However, that worked for me on this business trip. The building, grounds and my room were all very well maintained and clean. The room was large, well equipped and comfortable. Very enjoyable.

I really liked the hotel. Only 1 complaint I was in the first room when you walk in the door there was a closet next to the bed and a covered hole in the closet a bad smell was coming from it. I put pillows over it and it helped. It needs to be fixed. The hotel is in a great location and really nice.

The location was great, the accommodations were spotless, and the owner was very helpful. Whimsical art on the walls made us smile. The only thing that was a slight bother in unit #1 was that its windows are on the front of the building and the front porch light was on all night. But we still slept well. Will definitely stay again when in Boise!

With Boise as the last stop on a multi-city business trip, Boise Guest House was a bit of a splurge, but I was determined to be comfortable my last night on the road. And I was! Very homey experience, complete with a full en-suite kitchen. I still miss that bed. Exceeded my [travel-weary] expectations. Highly recommended.

Love the place. Old house that is completely renovated. Suite #6 has bedroom with queen, bedroom with 2 twins, FULL kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower, private porch. We will absolutely go back (with our own pillows)!

This is more of a bed and breakfast in a home built in the early 1900s than a hotel. Never even saw a person who worked there (even at check-in), never figured out the free breakfast, but to be fair, did not look very hard. Because there are streetlights outside, the addition of blackout shades rather than the pretty cotton ones provided would be a big plus.
