"Location Location Location"
I think hotel was very nice but found hotel front desk not very friendly! I would recommend it for location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is in a wonderful location, a bit shabby on the edges. Definitely clean, though! I would definitely go back. A restaurant is attached to the hotel, and a big bowl of fruit is available as you enter the hotel. Big plus with my daughter!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was small but adequate. Property well maintained.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Character with flaws"
this is a pretty and centrally located art Deco hotel in THE very centre of Aix, a beautiful city we discovered. However we booked the hotel specifically because of its location and the fact that it had underground parking. We asked to set aside a limited parking spot in the booking and never heard back but when we arrived the entry to the parked was […] blocked with a caterpillar and the roadway smashed up - no parking. Parked a 20 minute walk away and had to haul everything back and forth. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location in the middle of everything"
We stayed in 1 night at the hotel St Christophe and thought it very average. Our room was through a passage to the side of reception. The size of the room was small and we struggled with two suitcases for space. Our room looked out onto the service road and there were delivery trucks using the road, so we kept window and blind closed. We dined in the […] Restaurant and again we were disappointed with the service and quality of the food was under par. The best part for this hotel was the location, across the road from the Rotunde and the old town, where there is plenty of dining and entertainment on offer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location. Room was a bit small but we had a nice balcony. Very clean. Definitely recommended!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location of Hotel St. Christophe was excellent and well situated in Aix's historic district. Lots of cafes and restaurants surrounding the hotel and yet it proved to be quiet at night time. The family rooms with a sofa bed were small, but doable for two or three travelers. It is a typical European hotel and the elevator only holds about four people […] (two with luggage). We had just flown into Marseilles and had a car so we reserved a spot in their very secure parking below the hotel. The staff were very friendly and very helpful! I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"EXCELLENT LOCATION TO EXPLORE OLD TOWN"
On arrival staff very informative. Room and bathroom very comfortable, art deco décor, lovely white bathroom which was very clean and bright. the only downside for us was the breakfast, the croissants were Saturdays I think as they were not very fresh. I would suggest going out for breakfast as there is so much choice in the beautiful streets of the […] old town. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient and clean"
Nice, friendly hotel in a very convenient location near the Cours Mirabeau. Stayed in two rooms - both clean and smart, and very quiet considering the location.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Small room, otherwise great"
The location is unbeatable: walking distance to the center of the old town, the train station, the bus depot, and lots of restaurants. The room we were in was quite small, but that was balanced by the fact the room had a patio where we could comfortably sit and have dinner in the room. I'd stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Staff and location"
Very close to bus, train and tourism office. All staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of tours available from tourism office, so great if you have no car like us. The room we had was on the fourth floor, with the bedroom up some stairs in a loft, made the room feel nice and spacious, but not recommended if you have mobility issues as stairs quite steep. […] Bathroom large, only negative was smoky smell in room, however overall no real complaint. Would stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Older style hotel in central AIX"
This is an older style hotel with a more authentic French feel than some of the hotel chains. There is a restaurant on the main floor. The hotel always smelled amazingly clean. Older hotel but well maintained.Genuine Expedia guest review
"It's all about the location!"
A stone's throw from Cour Mirabeau, lots of restaurants, the shopping area and the central station. The room was a bit small but that wasn't an issue. I didn't eat in rhe restaurant but there were plenty of customers eating, so I guess that's a good sign! Recommended!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel Saint Christophe"
Brilliant location! Worth paying a little extra to get a room with a bath.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very well placed for the centre of town. It has a car park and was pretty cheap at €13 per day. Great restaurant. Breakfast is well stocked and varied, and cheap considering what it is.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location; Good service"
Very good, stay even if room fairly small. No noise from the corridor or outside during the night.Good WiFi working properly.Excellent location!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"What we were expecting"
Great location in the heart of Aix. Lots of traffic. Can park in hotel garage or nearby public garages for about the same price (13 vs 15 E). Nice staff. Room was decent.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent location with fantastic service"
Brief 3 night stay in a room on the 3rd floor. Comfortable room with exception of bathroom where shower water flooded the floor on occasion. Staff very friendly and informative. Neighbourhood excellent for dining, bars and wandering the pretty streets. Close (5 min walk) to a safe train station for day trip to Marseille and hotel parking simple/affordable […] if required. Breakfast under par, would recommend visiting local cafe instead. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Adequate budget hotel centrally located"
The Hotel St. Christophe is not high-end but what makes it attractive is its location- it is around the corner from Cours Mirabeau, the heart of Aix-en Provence. The Hotel is fairly clean but the room decor and furnishing are quite dated. I thought the Hotel was fairly good value all things considered.Genuine Expedia guest review
Enjoyed the accommodating staff, pleasant and comfortable surroundings, and good food.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent, recommend the buffet breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent location at one end of the Cours Mirabeau, just a few metres from the Rotunda Fountain, but not noisy. Hotel very clean. Room small but bathroom spacious and a large balcony. Did not eat in hotel. Car park below hotel very useful, although some spaces are very narrow. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent location -- very near tourist office and Cours Mirabeau. Hotel room was very small. Good restaurant and satisfactory service overall.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Compare 3 star hotels in Aix en Provence"
Hotel Christophe is well located for the Cours Mirabeau, though this makes it a busy area. The rooms are smaller than and less comfortable than La Rotonde hotel just down the road although it is slightly more expensive.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good place to stay in Aix"
St. Christophe is a nice well located charming hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, service could be improved"
Hotel Christophe is a charming Art Deco style hotel and very conviently located in central Aix en Provence, close to the old city and the Tourism Office. The food at the restaurant was lovely and very good value for money eg. 2 courses for less than 12 euros. My only complaint was that we had poor service in the bar while waiting for dinner, and the […] rooms are quite small. If they could improve the service, I would have rated it higher. Hotel St Christophe was fine, and a couple of the staff were very helpful. My room 224 had what would have been a pleasant little terrace, but in May 2013 there was a very noisy construction site next door which made it impossible to open the doors.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very friendly hotel in convenient location."
Room was clean and comfortable but VERY small double room and difficult to move around for two of us.Genuine Expedia guest review
We received a very nice welcome and a free upgrade to a room with interior terrace and balcony. There were roadworks taking place, but caused us no disturbance. There is an excellent bar and restaurant attached. A superbly central location with very reasonable overnight parking rates at a public car park just across the road.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Their restaurant was the highlight. We were surrounded by locals who dine there regularly. Location was stunning and deite the worn carpets and small rooms we would highly recommend. Staff very obligingGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Well situated, parking appreciated, room small but confortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
the room was on 2 floors with a mezanine. In principle it could be nice but it's not very practical. The internal stair was steepGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"4 out of 5"
Central location, excellent for tourists. Air conditioning didn't work, we just opened the window.Good restaurant on site, bit expensive, but discount for hotel guest, lots of alternatives very close by. Very typical Euro hotel, only one complaint is an afterhours dance club next door, woke me at 4 a.m. with pounding beat, it was our last nite of 5, […] if I was staying longer I would have asked to change rooms. Didn't blame hotel but it was relevant for review. Oh, yeah, door closers are too powerful, lots of slamming doors in early a.m.. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice central spot - perfect for a day or 2"
Good central hotel. Clean and helpful staff. Free wifi. Great for a couple of nights; a few nice touches. Probably a little too small for a longer stayGenuine Expedia guest review
Very well located hotel. Excellent bar/restaurant on ground floor. Own parking.Genuine Expedia guest review
Close to tourist bureau, bus and local train and old town, the hotel was convenient to everything. Room was small, particularly with extra bed, but adequate for short stay. Staff very helpful and hotel bistro and cafe a good standard.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
stayed for four nights, helpful staff and great location aside from the €12.50 charge for breakfast cannot fault otherwise.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel for couples"
The hotel was great. It couldn't have been more central - right in the heart of Aix en Provence and within easy reach of everything. Our room was small but clean and comfortable with charming decor in the art deco style. The hotel had a good restaurant with a pleasing ambience and reasonable prices with a 10% discount on one lunch or dinner. This hotel is ideally situated for exploring Aix-en-Provence, close to the main avenue, the Cours Mirabeau. It is within easy walking distance of the bus station, served by the Marseille Airport bus and buses to nearby towns such as Avignon. While our room was quite small, a shady balcony proved very useful. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning […] very efficient. Although close to the city centre the room was very quiet. The buffet breakfast (12.50 euros / person) was good value. We did not eat any other meals in the hotel but the restaurant was always busy. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to all amenities and sightseeing"
Very nice Hotel with excellent restaurant on main floor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed here after a journey down from the UK on the TGV and before picking up a car hire the next day: liked the hotel - unpretentious, friendly and reasonably priced. It was only 5 minutes walk from the drop off for the shuttle from the TGV station which is a few miles outside Aix. (We would, by the way, recommend doing the TGV trip from the UK.) […] Brasserie was good too - very French and good value. We will use the hotel again when we do a TGV trip to Aix. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"One of the best small hotels I have ever stayed at"
The first greeting set the scene - what great staff, especially Christophe. Rooms are cosy and the decor straight from the twenties. The restaurant downstairs has wonderful food and the location couldn't be better. You can be proud of yourself!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our accomodation was excellent and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is the best location for walking to all the sights and close to the helpful Tourist Information Center. If you are arriving in Aix en Provence by train, look for the shuttle bus that takes you a couple blocks from the hotel - costs under 10 euros each. "Good location and Restaurant"
Well presented entrance halls and room, good staff with good English. Sadly the loo flush had problems, and the en-suite was just a foot or two too small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stylish hotel just don't eat in the restaurant"
Stylish hotel with an Excellent, helpful reception. Huge bed and a multijet shower. Only dissapointment was the restaurant. Decent food but dirty glasses. Not just one. Every glass on every table. Awkward head waiter who was too relaxed and acted as if he was better that us. I recommend going out to find a nice restaurant. Breakfast was ok. Another […] awkward waiter who made me feel as if I was doing something wrong by helping myself to the buffet. But worth the stay for the room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect location at a good price"
The value proposition here is great. This is a modest, comfortable hotel (very good beds) in a terrific location. Staff is helpful, it has a lively brasserie, and there isn't a better location in Aix. Rooms are small, but I'm not in Aix to hang out in my room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel in a fantastic location! Easily accessible from the central train and bus stations and within a minutes walk of the Cour Mirabelle, this hotel suited our needs perfectly. I booked in January for a stay in July (special rates during Expedia sale). I paid for a single room with a shower, but was delighted to be allocated a small double room with a bath.
