This hotel didn't come up on our GPS but believe me you can find it! Look for Klink strasse. The streets are all one way, so be aware! Great hotel location!! Really enjoyed our stay!

The building is quaint and well maintained. Service was excellent and had a family-run feel to it. The location is close enough to walk to everywhere, but not in the center of town and quiet. No hassle parking. Only disappointment was that internet was soley via a pay WiFi in the lobby. Otherwise perfect hotel that we'd gladly use again.

Waldoase er et hyggeligt og nedslidt hotel, som ligger fint i Harzen. Hvis du ikke gider standard overnatning, men derimod synes det er fint med billig overnatning og østtysk indretning, så vælg trygt Waldoase.Stedet er fint til pengene og sjovt at opleve. Dejlig fredeligt og hyggeligt sted langt ude i en skov, hvor vindens susen i trætoppene udgjorde "lydbilledet". Stedet er noget nedslidt udvendigt, og møblerne i den hytte vi fik, havde set bedre dage, men ellers var hytten fin med pænt bad og køkken. Stedet hedder PENSION Waldoase, og man skal tænke det som sådan, og ikke forvente hotelstandard. Der […] oplyses, at der skulle være udendørs pool samt bovlingbane, det så vi ikke noget af, så det må være en fejlinformation. Det er billigt, men det viste sig, at være dyrere end først oplyst, fordi der lægges en del ret uigennemskuelige afgfter/ taxter oveni når man får regningen. Det ville være rart at vide på forhånd. Hyggeligt familiedrevet pensionat helt ude i skoven 4 km fra Harzens mindste by Güntersberge. Nyindrettede, store værelser til rimelige priser, solid morgenmad. Aften-spisekortet er en nødløsning, men ærligt. Ingen stuepige mens man bor der. Det kom lidt bag på dem at vi ville betale med Visa/Dankort, men det lod sig gøre.

Hotellet er overhovedet ikke i den kvalitet ud fra hverken beskrivelse eller fotos. Der var en ubeskrivelig lugt på hele hotellet, som var ganske forfærdeligt. Der var godt nok eget bad og toilet til værelset, som vi havde bestilt, men det var i så slidt tilstand, at hotellet absolut ikke er en eneste stjerne værd. Da vi ankommer til hotellet s adresse, […] viser det sig at hotellet slet ikke ligger på adressen, men bliver forvist til en adresse 4 km uden for byen. Det er absolut heller ikke optimalt, da adressen på hotellet ikke står på Hotel.com. Vil absolut ikke anbefale hotellet, og forstår ikke at hotellet selv kan udstå lugten hverken i receptionen eller på værelserne. Nul stjerner herfra. Read more
