Best $45 hotel Ive ever been in... we used this hotel just as a stop over, and we were very happy for $45. Clean, quiet, no bugs in the bed, and the hotel clerk moved the "continental breakfast" at 8am to 6am just for us the next morning when we left. We will definitely go back if we are ever going to use the surrounding areas again.

We stayed overnight before visiting Williams College. Easy to find (right on main rd, but not too noisy), couple of casual restaurants within walking distance. Staff polite and responsive, but not overly friendly. Room was clean and well set up. Free wifi. Only dissppointment was the shower which had limited power and hot water. Continental breakfast was wrapped muffins and cereal, nothing fancy but good enough for a quick bite before hitting the road. Good experience at a good price.

"Beatiful surroundings"
The Inn at Richmond is on a beautiful 27 acre horse farm with pastoral setting and is cozy and inviting. The innkeeper, Pam was very friendly and made wonderful breakfasts. The downstairs is open to guests and has a great fireplace in the den to enjoy hot cocoa or wine. "A restful getaway"
The Inn at Richmond is a Berkshire treasure -- a wonderful place to get away from big city life. The accommodations for my wife and daughter were excellent with a delightful pancake and fresh fruit breakfast. Our problem was the weather: Hurricane Irene and we were going to a wedding that evening with forecasts that western, MA. was going to be hit […] hard. So we chose to skip the second night ( and leave the wedding earlier than expected). The innkeepr was very understanding. I can't say enought about our short stay and recommend it highly.
