Bed and Breakfast Puebla La Paz - Puebla

Excellent hotel. Very close to downtown. Staff very nice. Maybe I could say it needs maintenance, but for the price it is more than excellent!!.

Location is wonderful as it's on a quiet street just three blocks from the zocalo, fantastic sights and conveniences of all kinds. Beds are very comfortable and the room is spotless. Staff is very friendly and helpful, speaking a little English. Breakfast in the on site restaurant was wonderful.

The size of the room is very appropiate, elegant , but it needs a better air condition system. It was very hot at night

We were wowed by views day and night. Wonderful service. Clean, sufficiently spacious room, comfortable and quiet. Ample buffet breakfast. Restaurant service good, though food mediocre. Considerable distance from historic center sites, but easily reached by inexpensive taxis called by hotel staff for us. Small shopping center next to hotel had excellent beauty salon and small gift shop carrying Puebla candy, Rompope drink, and talavara ceramics.Hotel even provided wheelchair for elderly visitors.

Room description on the hotels.com website was inaccurate. I reserved a Junior suite with - supposedly - a queen bed and two double beds, for two adults and two children. There was no such thing. In fact, no room was designed to take four people at once. Fortunately, the reception personnel was very gracious and within 10 minutes of our arrival solved our problem by giving us a second room at no extra charge. The hotel is a gorgeosu 19th century house, recently renovated, and in top shape. Located less than half a block from the Puebla Cathedral and the "zocalo", you can't do better than that. Rooms were large, very comfortable, and luxuriously appointed. All in all, an excelent choice.
