"close to all must-see sights, great value!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
When I booked this hotel, I didn't expect a whole lot from this hotel because it was so cheap. But after staying there for the entirety of my trip, I have to say that it was the best value for my buck. The hotel is conveniently located in District 1 right next to Binh Thanh Market. It's location makes it convenient to walk to all the tourist sites such as he War Museum and the Reunification center. The service was great and I would defiitely stay there the next time I go.
"Would try them again, but need some improvements."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Rooms are very nice and roomy, and good location. They could improve on their service and maintenance. The phone did not work in my colleague's room which was inconvenient for wake up calls, etc. My room had the vanity light burned out. Also, had trouble with my key card and they were very slow in responding. Breakfast was okay, but had much better at other hotel we stayed at earlier in our stay. I do like their rooms so would probably give them another chance and hope that the service/maintenance issues were a one time thing.

"Central Location and Good Price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 25, 2012
It was a great value given the price and condition of the hotel. The hotel is quite small, but it is very clean. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Very close to Ben Thanh Market, only a few blocks away.

"Affordable Hotel in good location."
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, except for the fact that I had to endure pimps and more late at night. I cannot recommend this hotel to a couple with children if they are likely to wander about late at night... There are better options on side streets where it feels more neighborly.
"Terrible Manangement, proceed with caution."
I have a 9 night reservation for a Superior no window room that commenced yesterday, August 3, 2011, and presently staying at the property. I had checked out and walked over from a sister hotel in an attempt to check in at noon, but was advised that my room was occupied and not available until 7:00PM. Trying to be reasonable, I agreed to give the […] hotel some time to get me settled in, so went out and about my business and returned at 6:30PM to inquire as to the status of my room. To my dismay, the girl at the front desk informs me that I should return after 7:00, perhaps around 7:30PM because the guest occupying my assigned room had left the to go to dinner and there was no way she could contact said guest at the moment. It was just plain unacceptable, to be informed that there was no way they could get me settled in and they felt they were in no way responsible because there was nothing they could do other than give me a much better room for 1 night and move me around like in a game of musical chairs. It was important for me to get to my "home away from home" where I could undo my belongings without having have to worry about constantly repack and being moved around. Management just refused to accept that as an inconvenience and gave me no choice. I informed them, that if they were to give me the upgraded room for the first night, I would refuse to move. Finally at that point, they decided to knock on a guest's room to discover they were showering and offered the couple the upgraded room since they were checking out the next day anyways. The nice couple accepted the offer and hurriedly moved out allowing me to get a room at 7:30PM. Unacceptable for me because I had a 8PM dinner engagement and had a measly 30 minutes to get showered and changed to meet my dinner date. I understand that my case may be unique, but I despise the way in which the other guests were treated under the guise of an upgrade, as well as their non committal of a contract with me. "Nice clean rooms"
Pros: near hard rock cafe, good muslim restaurants, clean rooms, friendly staffs, ok breakfast. Cons: No hot shower, close to pimps and prostitution area, far from Ben than market, ie 10 mins away.
"nice hotel"
the hotel was nic with good location to lots of restaurants. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were really nice and looked new. Big shower. The room was a bit small. The staff in the reseption was very helpful and friendly
"Good stay with the price paid"
The hotel reception was very kind to upgrade our room and I'm so glad he did! The room has all the facilities you need - love the sparky bathtub design.
"Hai Long 5 Is halus for money"
The staff are willing to help anytime round the clock. The location Is Great, CT central. Very covenience to get halal food. Its suitable for family and they got our room upgraded at No request and No cost. Only setback Is the noisy street. Recommend that they put on a double layered wndows to reduce noise. No window view though.

Frukosten var under all kritik dessutom. . Read more

"Hotel Hai Long 5, Ho Chi Minh"
Read more
