"Family break in Enniscorthy"
We had a family get together (4 couples) and enjoyed our stay. We spent our eve in the hotel, dinner & drinks. Staff looked after us very well. We stayed in the new rooms and they were finished to a high standard. Very happy, would stay here againGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Lovely refurbished room"
We were lucky enough to have a night away kid free and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lovely lady at reception gave us one of their new rooms and it was really lovely. The location is great within walking distance to Enniscorthy and the hotel facilities are also lovely. We had a wonderful meal in the Alamo restaurant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A Grand Little Hotel"
This is a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. We only stayed one night so can't opine on every aspect. The positives were: 1. The location: right beside the river and 5 mins walk from the town centre; 2. The staff: very friendly and helpful; 3. The room heaters: individual Dimplex fan heater in the room made it easy to control the temperature; 4. […] The breakfast menu was very good. The negatives were: 1. The relatively cheap decor; 2. The small dining room meant a 10-15 min wait for breakfast. All in all, it's a nice hotel for a short stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice to see you, to see you nice"
We stayed at the hotel on Good Friday 2013, the place was eerily quiet, not a sinner around. The hotel staff were very welcoming and gave us advice on where to eat (basically the hotel restaurant was one of the only options). The room was nicely furnished with a lovely view of the river, very peaceful. My only complaints would be the shower, which […] was very poor quality, the water spat out and wasnt very relaxing, it also drenched the floor, despite being careful with it. The only other complaint would be the light curtains, which didn't block the sun out the following morning. However, they're just minor complaints - we would stay here again, its close to Enniscorthy town and a short walk to the train station. I'm not sure I'd eat the Moorings (hotel restaurant) again, the staff were lovely but it has a very static atmosphere, very hotel lobby like and the food was fairly boring. The Alamo steakhouse (also attached to the hotel) was unfortunately closed, it's meant to be a wee bit nicer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Family-friendly and lovely location"
Even checking in mid-week the hotel reception was busy. Staff were very helpful and accommodating after it emerged that an error had been made with our booking. The children loved the swimming pool which was well maintained and the playground outside was superb. All in all it's a nice hotel, reasonably priced and with attentive staff and the location […] is excellent - all make for a relaxing family visit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

From the moment we arrived, until departure 3 days later, we were made to feel welcome. Staff 'couldn't do enough' for us. We were a family group of 5 senior citizens. The food was exceptional, quality, presentation and quantity were faultless. The rooms, over looking the river slaney, were very clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Hospitality tray and bottles of water were very welcome. Enjoyed pool. Highly recommend this hotel.

It was a surprise to find this large hotel in what is quite a small town. Reception is a striking atrium overlooking the river Slaney. Rooms are large, reasonable toiletries, but some luxuries you might expect in a 4 star are missing - basic TV, no flannels, no robes, etc. My bed was huge and very comfortable. I had a small balcony overlooking the river, so I would recommend asking for a river view. Breakfast was excellent and the freshly baked spelt bread to die for. There is a large bar with outside seating so I imagine it would be great in summer. I didn't eat in the hotel, but having walked around the town for a while I would be surprised if the hotel wasn't one of the better eating choices.

We stayed in the Riverside Park hotel last weekend, From the start of our stay until we left I could not find fault, The most important part of this hotel is the staff, they were all extremely pleasant, and happy to help with any query. The food was amazing, we booked the moorings the first night but unfortunately missed out on eating in their steak house restaurant on the saturday night as it was booked out, there was a wedding on the friday night and also saturday night but, the hotel staff took this all in their stride, will definitely return
"Never a 4 Star"
10/12/14 Relayponey Dublin, Ireland
Just back from a weekend at the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but no way this hotel is a 4 star. Maybe it was 10 years ago . The walls were very thin. You could hear full conversations from the neighbors room. Unlucky for us there was a big stag group who were making terrible noise until 6am. No way this hotel is up to 4 star standard, Its a 3 star at best which is ok. The TV in our room was a 26inch and most of the stations were scrambled and you couldn't watch them The breakfast was very nice in the morning and the coffee was good too. The breakfast area was quite empty when we were down there and there was plenty of staff running around filling up the buffet etc but forgetting there is patrons waiting to order food. Took ages to order food and in the end we had to call the staff over. Still though, the full Irish was very very good quality. The Alamo Restaurant next door is very nice. The hotel is nicely located on the river also and has a nice terrace outside overlooking which is nice for a coffee or a beer. The wifi is excellent. All in all good points and bad points but enjoyed our stay but the hotel is nowhere near 4 star standard
"Not the best 4star"
10/12/14 SaNNy82 Dublin, Ireland
As I mostly stay in 4stars this is not what I use too. The hotel seems a bit old the TV is small and has only the basic channels. The leisure centre is small and not in the best shape you see broken tiles and marks. To be honest all 3star standards. Still we had a great stay the staff is really nice the entrance area plus restaurants and bar are great. Loved the breakfast continental buffet and Irish breakfast from the card which is fresh made and tasty. The hotel is clean and beds are really comfortable. We got a room with river view which I wouldn't recommend as this hotel is used for weddings and stags with the bar under our balcony it was really loud. We woke up lots off times from drunken guests. We came for a relaxing weekend....
"What a Wonderful Surprise"
10/10/14 Phoenixbod Blyth, United Kingdom
We booked a 5 day holiday and because of roof problems with the hotel, we were re-located to the Riverside Hotel for bed and breakfast. We hit the jackpot! From the moment we arrived it was obvious that our stay would be good. The local staff were so warm and friendly nothing was a problem. At breakfast there was everything you could want, cereals, breads, croissants, home made preserves and hey, a hot full English breakfast. Fabulous, lovely white table cloths, the whole presentation - just made our holiday. The staff came around to ask if everything was ok and also the owner, (Never had that before, who is Premier Inn owner?), he came and asked about the stay and was everything to our liking. It was like something from a past era with regard to quality. Thoroughly recommend it, its not that far from the sights you want to see in Ireland so worth booking into.
"Lovely hotel and Excellent Beds"
10/10/14 Keromax Sunderland, United Kingdom
Stayed at this hotel this week for 4 days. Very helpful in restaurant and bar and general manager is also very friendly and checks in with you every morning to see if you need anything. The Beds are really comfortable and room is a good size. The Breakfasts really wonderful and has lots of choose. The only downfall was the reception staff not really very friendly and helpful
i stayed here recently with my Boyfriend, as i have seen this hotel soo many times and never have been in it or stayed there. so on a whim i rang them to see what the best price they could give me for a Sunday night for 2, i was presently surprised at the rate, so really i wasn't expecting much, but i have to say the place was so nice, room was fab with the balcony, we did end up changing room due to a maintenance problem but this was no hassle. we ordered room service and the food was great and was delivered to us in no time. i have to also say that i have had one of the best nights sleep here that i have had in a long long time, breakfast was really good too, I noticed on their menus that they had the weather for the next two days on it, just a little touch but it was very good. all in all i would deffo recommend this to anyone, pitty that theres nothing that much to do around Enniscorthy itself but you cant fault the hotel for that.
"Nice hotel ... WONDERFUL beds!"
10/06/14 BonneVoyager Glen Of The Downs, Ireland
Having driven through Enniscorthy many times I have often looked wistfully at the Riverside Park Hotel so when I got a voucher for any hotel in the group (I think Select Hotels, or Hotels of Ireland?) I zoomed down here asap. I have to say it probably looked nicer from the road than upclose and despite renovations it did still have that air of a fabulous hotel which had been allowed to get run down and only now was getting back on its feet. Receptionists a bit cool and disinterested by our arrival but did warm up, free parking and a covered garage or outside parking to choose from and breakfasts nice but nothing wildly exciting but ooooooooooooooooooh the beds! We were given a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the river with a huge bed and a mattress so wonderful we enquired what type it was so we could get one. Turns out it was a KingKoil KlubKlass and every room has one since the refurb. We did not really care for Enniscorthy, though a pretty town so probably will not be back - but really are tempted for another night in those amazing beds!
"Lovely, relaxed hotel, recently renovated"
10/05/14 Jan D
Very good value and often overlooked hotel on the river in Enniscorthy, The Riverside park offers great value especially off- season. Rooms are recently renovated and stylish, the lobby interesting and breakfast excellent, in restful surroundings. The front desk staff were a little hassled when we checked in and there was a wait for our room, but there was a large wedding going on at the same time and the atmosphere was good. Nice views too!
