great views, very clean rooms and the service was very good from the staff. the roof top pool with massive ocean views was empty so unable to use and that was quite a disappointment. we would not have booked if we had known that. The Hotel Villa Pandora is a fabulous place to stay. It is situated just outside Maiori which is a lovely family orientated tradtional holiday resort. Although very busy we never struggled to find a table in the local restaurants. Our favourite was called La Vela, right on the sea front. The surrounding area is stunning! The only downside is that you […] need a car, although the parking at the hotel is free, something that you dont find very often in Italy.There is a good bus service which runs into town directly outside the hotel but this obviously limits your comings and goings and the last bus back is 10.20pm.The breakfast is typically continental, with cereals and yoghurts and freshly baked pastries. The rooms are beautifully appointed. The parking system works very well, the staff will valet park your car for you, just up the road. You never need to wait long when going out and for the staff to get the car . Vincenzo the manager is very good, the staff will take you into to town in your own car if you are going on an excursion, this saves you paying 20 euros or so to park your car in the town for the day. Vincenzo will arrange trips which cost exactly the same as if you book them yourself on the seafront. Although there is no formal bar, you can get drinks, tea, coffee, beer and wine whenever you want and the prices are very reasonable. There is also a minibar which is not expensive. Stayed at this cosy little hotel a week during our honeymoon. The experience was exceptional. The hotel is very clean and calm in a lovely location just outside of Maiori. The view from the rooms is spectacular and there is a small pool/sundeck on top of the hotel but it was never crowded since the hotel only have 10 rooms.
