Stayed here for work/Mammoth MX and would definitely recommend this place to any traveler! Had a slight issue with the refrigerator door, but the Staff was immediately responsive to my needs, extremely apologetic for the issues and relocated me to a new unit immediately and without argument!

We chose this unit off the Grand Mammoth website. The picture looked nice and it boasted a view. It had 4 stars.
Reality: This complex is older and one building houses many units which are connected by a long smelly hallway. The unit itself was dark and equally smelly. There was no view, unless one considers a parking area and a common barbecue pit, a view.
We were totally disappointed and went back to the office in the vague hope to exchange this unit for another since we were staying for 6 nights.
Lizeth and Miguel were very helpful in finding us another unit with a view of the mountains and we even had a stream nearby.
We were very appreciate for their help.
This cute little one bedroom was a very comfortable stay for me as I was on a working trip. My wifi worked perfectly the entire time. The upgraded kitchen was beautiful and the view from my room was amazing.
This unit was advertised or, should I say rated as a 4 star unit. It was very disappointing. The unit itself needs a major refresh to qualify for a 4 star rating.
The carpet was very dirty and not clean, rather disgusting to walk on with bare feet. The first thing you noticed as you walked in was two sets of really damaged walls and a broken bench. The gas fireplace does not work. The pull out bed was just horrible to sleep on (some of the springs holding the mattress were broken). Only three kitchen stove burners out of four worked. Kitchen light burned out. No salt and pepper shakers (had to buy my own). Really badly damaged kitchen frying pans (bought a new one to use during my stay). No real storage to put your cloths away in closet in the one bedroom (filled with various equipment and junk in drawers). Shower needs a refresh and the hot water faucet handle in the bathroom was broken. The owner of this unit really needs to fix it and update it or stop renting it. Really disappointed. The lodge itself and location are great. This unit unfortunately does not qualify as a 4 star unit. It needs work!! Rather than complain and wait around for someone to fix some of these issues we skied instead and made the best of it. We did have a chance to see a unit that was rented directly by the lodge and it was in much better condition.
My 8 night stay started out by having to return back to the rental agency to pick up the "real" set of keys to enter the unit after we had been given only the parking gate keys. Make sure to ask for extra towels before hand so that you can use them for the hot tub or you are out of luck as the hotel will not give you any since you "didn't rent through them".
Next time will stay at the Westin. At least I know what I am getting there and the units are in much better condition for a similar price.
At least the snow was great
I'll start off by saying that I never complain in general and have never posted on a review board in my life but felt compelled to after my recent stay with this agency.
We arrived at a cabin initially with no wifi after clearly being promised it in the rental contract. After three hours of back and forth we finally were accommodated a new cabin. After moving all our ski stuff to a new cabin and settled in late, we turned on the heater to discover a new horrendous smell of a rotting rat carcass which permeated every inch of the cabin. We removed the rat, cleaned, bleached and tried to suck it up overnight with every window open in the freezing cold. By 7 am the smell and cold were unbearable and packed all our stuff and went to the manager
's office. Michelle, the manager, very rudely implied we were just trying to get a free night out of this and sent a maintenance guy to check out the place who quickly returned and said the "smell wasn't that bad." At this point we personally had to drive one of the rental agents up to the condo who literally couldn't stay in the unit for more than 2minutes without gagging and promptly evacuating immediately. After wasting an entire day of back and forth and one day loss of prepaid ski rentals and lifts they finally agreed to change to a different condo.
In summary DO NOT STAY OR RENT WITH THIS AGENCY. They are rude and incompetent and refuse to accommodate or fix any problem. Save yourself the headache and book with a different agency.
