I love it.
"They should call it the A...."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
For the price paid this hotel is totally worth the money. Free breakfast and no resort fees! Location right on fremont. Hotel staff were very nice compared to some higher priced hotels. Front desk was friendly at check in. Valet guys were nice. Breakfast was awesome. Room was a little dated and tired but for the rate paid it was clean, quiet and safe.
"Great Price, Poor Hotel Upkeep"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The room was a steal at the price, and it was right on the strip. Only complaints /i had were poor lobby lay-out (had to ask where the check in desk was) and poor room and elevator maintenance, the elevators shook so bad i thought we could plunge to the bottom at any moment.

Three pool areas at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas offer distinct atmospheres. The Boulevard Pool, located on the East Deck, overlooks The Strip and offers music, daybeds, grouped lounge chairs, and occasional live entertainment. The Day Club Pool is an adults-only area with infinity pools, cabanas, and a lounge-like atmosphere; at night, it becomes an extension of the nightclub. The Bamboo Pool is more laidback, with a quieter environment, plentiful umbrellas and lounge chairs, and poolside spa treatments.

Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Check in was incredibly slow, even for Vegas but entirely worth the wait!
"They nickle and dime you."
Good location, clean, comfortable hi-tech room. Hotel personnel very helpful and courteous. BUT: Two ways of signing up for internet - charge to room or charge to credit card, except charging to room didn't work. Called their contact # for assistance, and got billed for the phone charge. Also got billed twice for same day internet service, once on CC […] and again on room. Got the charges reversed, no problem with the hotel personnel. But a classy hotel shouldn't have such glitches. Expect to be nickle and dime'd for everything. Read more

"Great Hotel for the younger crowd"
Overall this was a great hotel. Very nice and new and everyone was so nice and helpful. Some reviews we read prior to going were negative in regards to the housekeeping but we had no problems with it at all! We had no problems with anything at all. However, even though we had no issues, I don't think I will book here again. This is a very YOUNG hotel. […] I am only 33 and consider myself to be all about a good time but this hotel was filled with a very young crowd. If that is an issue that you don't mind, then I recommend staying here. It really is a great hotel! And very beautiful!! Great location, clean, hip, new...definitely request a fountain view for your room! I just prefer to not be surrounded by so many people in their early to mid 20s that can't quite handle their alcohol yet. You get enough of that on the Strip. Read more
"close to where we wanted"
good hotel but check in facilities were so slow it took an hour kitchen great but no euipment not even a plastic fork or kettle
"Nice, but not as good as advertised"
The hotel was very nice, but the service did not impress. There's not any one incident to point to, just an overall sense that the service at a "3-diamond" rated hotel should be superb instead of just adequate. And during a 6-day stay, we had our room cleaned 3 times and the floor was never vacuumed, tissues were not replaced when empty, etc. so that […] was disappointing. Also, you can't use the refrigerator unless you pay to have mini-bar items removed, there were no dishes or utensils - which is odd since there is a dishwasher - so you couldn't really use the microwave either. Overall, we were disappointed. Read more

"Anniversary Trip"
Great hotel....the food is not that great but The Wicked Spoon buffet is best buffet I've been to in comparison to Bellagio and others. We booked a lakeview terrace studio and the view was perfect. The location is great as well. We were able to easily walk over to Bellagio and other nearby hotels. Would highly recommend to anyone.

"Cosmopolitan Las Vegas"
Loved it! We stayed in the Studio w/ fountain views. Having the terrace to sit out on and watch the water show at Bellagio and strip views added to our great experience. I rate our room 10+. It was sexy, unique and very comfortable. We were only able to enjoy one night- definately rebooking for next visit to Las Vegas and planning to stay longer!
"Cosmo in Las Vegas"
i'm pretty sure i was charged for mini bar items i did not take. the cosmo uses a weight-type system, so if you move one of the items for more than a second, you will automatically be charged for it. be careful not to knock into it.

Slow service. Asked for towels to be brought up to room, took them 2 hours to get them to the room. Two lights went out in our room during our stay, the hotel did not come to fix them upon request, so we were in a dark room for the rest of the stay. They charged us for the minibar even though we didn't use it. Charged us double the room service cost […] than what was on the menu. Overall very unsatisfied with the hotel. The only good thing about Cosmopolitan is that Marquee is located within the hotel. Read more

"Great Place To Stay, Bad Place to Gamble"
Enjoy the visual and sensual delights, get the heck out of there if you are looking to win some money. Tightest slots I've ever played in Vegas, but genuinely international quality design.
"Nice Hotel"
Costumer service was a bit lacking. Waited until 5:30 pm to check in because room was not ready.

"Cosmo always impresses"
Best stay in Vegas, hands down. Everything was perfect except the shower unfortunately didn't wash the shame away after a long weekend in sin city. This probably isn't a hotel issue though.
Great from the check in and doing it 6 hours early for us to the easiest check out. Everything and everyone was the greatest.
"Great location"
Fabulous location...easy access to other hotels/ clubs. The only major complaint is that the lights were controlled by a panel on the phone that was a little tricky. The only other thing was the shower has a see thru window into the bedroom!! Otherwise fun and a ton of places to hang out!
"Beautiful hotel-beautiful rooms"
I was very impressed with how comfortable the Cosmo made their ultra modern hotel. All of the employees were welcoming and seemed genuinely proud of 'their' hotel. Controlling my television, climate and iPad for the room phone was a surprising treat-I love new technology.
"Great, modern hotel"
Loved our stay here, the only delay was checking in where lines were very long

"The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas"
Great hotel! Excellent service from beginning to end. Our room was amazing, huge balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountain show! Great experience after leaving the Elara due to terrible service and construction on the roof at 7 AM on Saturday morning!
Loved the convenient location and easy access to taxi service and public transportation. The staff was very professional.

"Cosmo-great location & bars, other better hotels"
Great location. Fun crowd, but room itself was only decent compared to other higher end hotels like the Bellagio and Venetian. Not that clean, short on towels, hot water was only lukewarm. Every day the front desk checked us out mistakenly.......every day! Good bars, but wouldn't stay there again.
"The best in Vegas"
The best suite for the price in Vegas. The balcony alone is worth it!
"Amazing!!!!!!!"
I decided to stay at the cosmopolitan because the rates were the best for me and a couple of my girlfriends. When we arrived I had just booked a regular room the cheapest one you could book, upon arriving I asked the front desk girl if there were any ugrades. What do u know she tells me that me and my girlfriends were gonna have the time of our lives […] and she was upgrading us to a suite. We go to our room two huge bedrooms with a huge living room three bathrooms floor to ceiling windows of every view of the city amazing. Super plush beds, gorgeous huge stone showers, large jet bathtubs just beautiful. The hotel in gorgeous inside, very modern and breathetaking with all the interior desingn details. We also went to the club they have there called Marquee amazing the beat night ever its huge has like 6 differnt areas. Overall amazing will definatley come back loved everything about it. Read more
"Stylish and fun"
I like the atmosphere of the Cosmopolitan. The art and all of the small details around the hotel went together really well. If you are a fan of art or style and design, you will enjoy this aspect of the hotel. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping was a little inconsistent, but that didn't bother me since it wasn't a big […] deal. It was nice to be able to stop back into our room between walking around, etc. I also enjoyed the fact that their coffee was Illy, though it was a little expensive (like everything). All in all a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend it. Read more
"in a word....AWESOME!"
my wife and i had the best stay here. we have stayed all over the strip, NYNY, MGM, Venetian, Caesars, Wyn and most recently the Encore. all these pale in comparison to the Cosmopolitan. The absolute best customer service I have ever experienced coupled with a beautiful room. if you are looking for the best place to stay in Vegas then don't stay here...i […] would like to keep it to myself!!!!
