What a wonderful find. This hotel is on the third floor of an old building. Very friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great staff. Walking distance to the Castel Nuovo and the tour bus depot. Only problem was nasty smelling elevator of the building.

I work in tourism and have stayed in lots of 4 star hotels in Italy and La Cigliegina was one of the nicest I have ever experienced. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the linen sheets lovely. The towels, and toweling robes were thick soft and luxurious and the slippers provided were nicer than most. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the bathroom […] was large and spacious. We had a lovely view out of our window and a small Juliet balcony. The hotel staff were friendly and informative and we felt very much at home. Also, the hotel, being on the 3rd floor above an office block/bank felt very safe and secure and away from all the noise and hustle and bustle of Naples: especially considering that it is so close to the main shopping street (Via Toledo), the port and only 15 minutes walk from the historical centre and 5 minutes walk from the fashionable Chiaia district. The breakfast room was small and intimate and the service very good. Everyday there was a selection of cheeses and hams, pastries (savoury and sweet), lovely fresh breads, cereals and fresh fruit. There is no cooked breakfast, but in my experience the cooked breakfasts in Italian hotels are greasy and unappetizing, and no Italian I have ever met would eat one. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel and Naples for those who have not visited it. Read more

It's on the upper floor of a building overlooking the Municipio square, and the location could hardly be bettered. There is also a rooftop terrace with fine views. The rooms are spotless and well equipped. Some of the rooms lack windows with views, but there are large skylights so the rooms are never gloomy. バス停も近くにあって、街歩きには便利なところです。駅からは少し離れています。 どなたかがホテルが分かりにくいところにあるとコメントしていたので、タクシーを利用しました。タクシーは値段交渉があります。はじめは４５ユーロとか言ってきましたが、私達は旅行ケース２個積んで、１５ユーロで手を打ちました。タクシーで行って大正解でした。確かに入り口の分かりにくいホテルです。 部屋は清潔で快適でした。３泊しました。駅近くは結構雰囲気が厳しい感じだったので、ここにしてよかったと思いました。

場所がとっても便利でしたし、スタッフは皆英語ができて、とても親切でした。お部屋もきれいだし、広さも十分でした。しいて言えば、お部屋のティーセットのティーパックの補充が忘れられてたことが1度あったくらいです。ギャレリアがすぐ近くにあり、そこに郵便局が入ってるので、切手を買うのにも便利でした。小さいホテルで、建物のひと階がホテルになってるだけなので、入口に小さい表示があるだけです。なので、初めて行く場合はタクシー利用をおすすめします。またナポリに行く時は是非利用したいです。ホテルとは関係ないですが、ホテルの建物入口横にあるバールの店員さんが親切でした。スーパーに行くのがめんどうな時は、そこで大きいサイズのお水も買えます。

部屋から景色が見えない、ホテル屋上での朝食がホテルロビーに変わっていた、ダブルベッドはシングルを２つ並べただけで一人で寝づらい、など不満はありましたが、可愛らしい素敵なホテルでした。治安の不安なナポリで警察署のすぐ近くというのも安心感ありました。

デザイナーズホテルで、イタリアの宿泊した中ではかなり綺麗な方です。 但し、重厚感はありません。デザイナーズホテルですので色など統一感もあり設備も新しく綺麗です。 但し、スタッフは基本、イタリア語しか話しをしません。 英語で聞いてもイタリア語で説明をしてくれます。 僕はイタリア語は全くわからないのですが、なんとかはなりますが英語ぐらいは・・・とは思います。
