No wash cloths, no hangers, only redeeming quality was that it was clean. Work crew making noise at 5 in the morning was annoying. It would be like a dorm if the college crowd was there. Not going back.

Overall, the hotel was a good stay. When we first arrived they gave us the wrong room, I had paid for a suite and recieved a standard room. However the issue did get resolved but not until the next day. The staff is friendly but they use some help on more costumer service skills.

Got the European suite. Was perfect for my stay. Lots of room on the patio to fraternize with other guests. Only wish I had gotten there a day earlier to enjoy the full ambience of what Baja Hotel had to offer.

Kids were running around all night yelling knocking on doors while you were sleeping. Loud music all night. Cleaning people did not come one of the days and had to ask for some clean towels. Asked for a king size bed in the reservation but they said they could not do anything about it

2nd time at Hotel Baja. Staff is always great. Bloody Mary's ffor Sunday breakfast are great. Coffee is hot. Rooms were really cold even through the humidity. Just a good place away from the malecon but not far enough to feel isolated.

Second time here and again had a great experience. Traveling with 3 adult children. We had a suite and a queen room. We asked them to be close and they were 10 steps apart...perfect! The pool was clean and the swim up bar was open all day til 10 pm. Restaurant was good, nothing special. Breakfast buffet was cheap and convenient. We felt safe at all […] times. Only bad experience was booking a sunset cruise with Ecofun, office at the Baja hotel. We asked numerous times how many people would be on the ship. They promised no more than 45. We arrived on time to be told that the we couldn't get on because of too many people! We had read about this happening so we werent surprised. Most of the local bars are closed in this neighborhood and the beach is kind of rocky. For the money though, it was clean and comfortable and the staff was nice.

The toilet was broken, the light switch in the bath worked half the time. The restrooms in the hotel areas were filthy. The overall appearance of the hotel was terrible. There is no upkeep at all at the hotel. It was noisy. Alot of young kids partying and no one stopped them; they went until 6am in the morning.

The floor was dirty with hair and other dirt. The bedding was soiled with blood. The sheets and blankets had stains larger than 5 inches.The bath towels were very small. The staff was very nice and i liked the patio area. Beach access was nice. The area was very safe.

Just half a block from Manny's Beach Club tucked away . Was perfect for what we were looking for, a quiet place to sleep. Even when Manny's was overrun by the crowds, the rooms were adequate. Restaurant and Bar had only 1 person working there but we had bloody Mary's at 9am and someone was there to attend us.

The manager said the place was not a space but a place to stay. Also very loud and noisy with alot of drinking partiers. The beds were very uncomforttable. Not to mention no elevators at this place. Not a place to stay for a family getaway.

That thing about Baja Hotel is that it is not that nice of a hotel (it isn't horrible either), but it is a great place for young college students to stay if you are going to Rocky Point to party. We will never go back to this so called hotel. It looks pretty on the computer, but in actuality, blah, I've never been to a hotel that din not have an elivator to the upper floors. This place leaves a lot to be desired. They have the nerve to ask for a security deposit of $40.

That only good thing about this hotel was that is somewhat close to the Malecon and the nightclubs scene, other than no elevator and also they charge you 15 dlls extra when you arrive and also the hotel was not that clean they were roaches in the room. I will not want to came to that hotel.

Well, I have never had a bed which had a cement / tile as the frame with a ply-woodand no box spring. This was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep in. I could not lay for more than one hour in one position, as it had no cushion on the mattress at all. I wonder how old the mattress was and who in their right mind decided on this structure. […] I wonder if they have slept on this bed before, I am sure they would not be able to sleep either. Conveniently located and a great deal. The downside is that the hotel is old and has not been updated in a while. The mattresses are the sort of thing you find in a garage sale. If you're not planning on staying INSIDE your room during your vacations, then I recommend this Hotel. This is not your High End, plenty-of ammenities Resort. Slightly on the pricey end. Great A/C.
