Haadson Resort - Ko Phangan

I had a great stay here for 4 nights in Feb 2013. The beach is wonderful and just a short walk down the hill. The hotel lobby area and restaurant served great cheap food till around 10PM. They also had a wonderful pier/waterfront bar and restaurant which had the same menu but a different view. I had my own bungalow for the equivalent of $40/night with […] a queen sized bed and my own balcony with a hammock and chair. It was great staying here and if I'm ever in Koh Phangan again I'll be sure to stay here for at least a couple nights. Read more

Our first room, the Garden Villa Standard, had numerous problems including a bathroom sink that drained directly onto the floor, no bathroom ventilation, bad room smell, missing lightbulbs and basic room amenities such as there was not a table or light switch by the bed. We talked with hotel staff and hotels.com as our room was not at all as described […] when we made the reservation. Hotel staff upgraded us to the Garden Villa Superior for a small additional cost. The Garden Villa Superior room was fine, although it still didn't match the description I was given when booking a room at this hotel. This hotel is great. It has great value, and it is beautifully situated on the island. If you come to Phanang to party, this might not be the hotel for you, but if you come to relax, it must be one of the best, both in terms of cost but also situation. The hotel could by little innput transform itself to a 4 star resort in my view, but I guess keeping […] cost reasonable has been more important for them. Some improvements on the renovation (ie bathromm wall etc) and proffesionality by the staff (i e uniforms) could easily be made with benefit. The snorkelling off the newly made hammock area is great, and its perfect to chillax there at sunset. The menu on the restaurant has many good options, we ate at the resort most nights and was happy with the food and the price. Read more

Quiet hotel with lovely friendly staff, the private beach makes it extra special. The room maintenance is a bit slack, not replacing the used glasses and shaking the sand off the sheets but for the price it's great value! Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break close to Haad Yao and Haad Salad. Will come back for a third time.

This hotel is beautiful if your looking for a relaxing place outside of where the full moon madness happens. The area of ocean it surrounds is amazing however I can not say the same for the hotel its self. The pillows in our room were dirty along with the bathroom. There was air conditioning which was nice but we later moved to another hotel that had […] air con, a fridge and a tv and it cost us less than the haadson resort did. If you looking to go to the full moon party this is not a good location. While it is quiet it is about a 45 min tuk tuk ride each way and will run you about 30 dollar canadian to get there an back. Vi bodde kun to netter på dette hotellet. Vi hadde først bestilt en villa, men disse ligger høyt oppe fra stranden og er meget slitte og gamle. Så vi oppgraderte og flyttet inn i et hotellrom som lå helt nede ved stranden, disse har noe bedre standard enn villaene. Maten i restauranten var god og beliggenheten på strandbaren er kjempe koslig med solnedgang […] og nydelig utsikt. Det eneste negativet er at både bar og restaurant stenger ca ved halv elleve tiden, og da stenger hele hotellet...så det var ikke annet å gjøre enn å gå gatelangs for å prøve å finne en annen plass å sitte for å ta noen drinker etter middagen. Vi fant et annet hotell ca 15 min gange hvor det var liveband og åpent utover natten. Ikke noe særlig med natteliv ellers rundt hotellet. Read more

Alt i alt var vi veldig fornøyde med oppholdet. Hotellets hjemmesider forteller at oppholdet inkluderer frakt til og fra båthavnen, men dette viste seg altså ikke å være tilfelle. Ikke store summene å betale (ca. 30 kr per vei), men blir ekstra jobb å finne egen transport. Bungaloven vi bodde i ligger rett ved stranden og hadde 50 meters gange til både […] beachbar og strand. Rommet hadde alt som trengs og var rent og fint ved fremmøte. Dessverre så vasker ikke hotellet disse rommene mer enn maks annenhver dag. Vi bodde der i 7 dager og fikk kun 3 vask (inkl. siste dagen). Det som virkelig var positivt med resorten var de ansatte ved beacbaren/cafeen. Disse var serviceminded, utrolig hyggelige og lagde fantastiske drinker og god mat. Totalt sett: Anbefales :) Read more

宿泊したバンガローからすぐ坂を下るとプライベートビーチがあり、遠浅で人影もあまりなく 恋人とゆっくりしたり、家族連れで子供を遊ばせたりするのにぴったりだと思います。ホテルスタッフはシャイな人が多かったですが、基本的に親切で清潔感があると思います。泊まったバンガローは堅牢ではないですが、ハンモックがついたテラス付きでバスルームも広く、クイーンサイズのベッドが二つあってよかったです。朝食を食べる２Fのスペースからの眺めが素晴らしく、気持ちよく食事ができました。事情があってこのホテルのレストランでは食事はしませんでしたが、美味しそうでしたし、海に張り出したビーチ沿いのレストランはとても素敵な感じでした。そのレストランの先に突き出たデッキにハンモックやチェアがあり、夕日を眺めるのにも最適だと思います […] 。喧騒から逃れて、静かに海を楽しんだりのんびりしたりするのには最高のロケーションだと思います。 Read more

Die Hotelanlage ist schön angelegt und gut gepflegt, der Privatstrand ist sauber. Allerdings sind die Bilder im Internet nicht von den Standard-Garten-Villen, in der wir übernachtet haben. Diesen würde eine Renovierung gut tun! Das Personal - mit Ausnahme der Männer, die das Frühstück betreuen - war nicht besonders nett und hilfsbereit.

Nous n'avons jamais profité de la plage de l'hôtel mais elle semble très bien par rapport à ce que nous avons vu des plages de l'île. L'hôtel est très grand, on peut toujours trouver son coin intime. Dommage que l'attitude du personnel gâche un peu le tout. Pas d'internet dans les chambres. La chambre est nettoyée tous les deux jours. Se méfier des […] petits déjeuners, assez moyens.
