Le Hotel Chinatown - Kuala Lumpur

The hotel is in a great location for shopping, we didn't venture any further than the surrounding area as we were only there for the day. The staff are also extremely helpful. The airline has lost my baggage and were going to deliver the next evening. The concierge staff called up the airline to ensure that it was going to be delivered. When it had not turned up, the staff and called around and accepted delivery of my luggage at 1am! A big thank you to the concierge staff for taking car of this for me!

Good location. Offered a free shuttle to Chinatown, Bikut Bintang and Suri KLCC. The breakfast was okay but nothing spectacular.

Had a problem with the airconditioning. Had to try about 3 different rooms before we found one that the air conditioning worked or the toilet was not constantly running. The hotel is convenient for monorail and shopping. Pretty good breakfast.

We got the 2 bedroom unit so it came w the dining area, small kitchen and living room, conducive for family chat, card games at night. can do light cooking as well. overall it was very comfortable and on the last day we were even treated to a lion dance..

Hotel Maya KL is a wonderful basically 5 star stay. Conveniently located between the Monorail (access to KL Sentral train station and Bukit Bintang shopping) stop and KLCC light rail stop. Basically a 5 minute walk either way. Just note that if you are getting off the main KTM train and want to take the Monorail into the city you have to physically leave the main terminal and walk outside. Follow the signs when you get to the back of the main terminal (go down the escalator/passed Burger King). PETRONAS towers basically a block away with stunning views both day and night. The 13th floor bar also has great views of the PETRONAS towers. Remember though that they must shut the main lights down on the towers at midnight. At least that is what they did Valentines Day night. If your into clubbing then a very hot dance club called Zouk is located just across the street and there are other bars/clubs within a few blocks away (The Beach etc). The rooms were very clean and orderly with outstanding views of the CBD. Can also hear the Mosque in the distance which adds to the ambience. Never had a bathroom/shower area you could see through from the main room. Nice touch!
