Hotel Soleil is a beautiful resort. The rooms are very clean, lawns and swimming pool well taken care of. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet and food was great. I loved my stay here. Dont forget to get a massage from their Thai Spa.

The hotel is a bit far from the center of Antigua, but not too far that cannot be walked. The room is relatively small but had all the expected amenities and then some. Nothing was missing. There was no air conditioning but the weather was so nice it was not needed. In a hot day, that may be a problem. Breakfast was just OK, a bit below par for a B&B. The OJ was not natural.

On the first floor is a living area with chimney and dinning area with access to the patio.
Second floor you can also find the Business Center.

"No one was there when we arrived"
Unfortunately I can only speak to the external appearance of the hotel. We arrived at 7:30pm, with a confirmed reservation and all of the lights at Casa Carmel were off. No one responded to us knocking or ringing the doorbell, and after waiting for 15 minutes on a dark street in a less than desirable area of Guatemala City with all of our luggage, we […] cut our losses and found a taxi to take us to another hotel.
