A rollaway bed is an extra 1500 pesos, which includes breakfast. You can't opt just for the bed. The two bedroom suites are fine. Bed mattresses are hard. AC is a bit unreliable. For the cost of staying in Makati, it's a bit on the expensive side. Do note that there is a Best Western Plus, which is right next to the Antel Suites building, the latter […] is where the 2 bedroom suites are. We have stayed at the Antel hotel at least 7 or 8 times over the past 3 years. The location is decent, the property well maintained, many good restaurants in the area, a 7-11 adjacent to the lobby & a supermarket across the street. The staff is very polite & helpful. Currently, the ONLY draw back is when booking on this site......there are now 3 towers […] to this hotel & no one will confirm which tower you'll be assigned. We like the Antel tower......NOT the A. Everything about this hotel is satisfying as long as you don't stay in one of the twin bed rooms. Those have small beds that are uncomfortable, are moving on you because they're on wheels and they cannot be combined because the resulting gap in the middle will be unbearable. Overall a comfortable stay. Rooms are good. I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which has everything a family needs but a litte cramped. There is a bad sewage smell when over the drains but I think this is difficult to battle in Asia generally. Breakfast was very very poor so I recommend to choose a room that doesn't include breakfast.

Hotel and room was nice. However I paid for a 3 night stay which included breakfast everyday. Only to find out I was only to receive 2 breakfast, not 3! on the second day there, the breakfast location was changed along with the time, so I was unable to have breakfast my second day there. it would have been nice to be notified of this change!!!

There is no smoking rooms in this hotel at all. So if you are a non smoker then this is a good hotel, but if you are a smoker you have to go outside to smoke, which means taking the lift down to the lobby and going outside. This hotel has made an official penalty of 3000 pesos if they catch you smoking in your room.

When we arrived the room was a max of 35 square meters, there was no DVD Player, the Internet was very slow and the glasses were not cleaned... I would stay here again, but with that price we could stay at better and bigger hotel. They overcharge for what it is. We stayed in 2 bedroom, we loved it but the room are a bit small. The pool was okay. It does not receive any sunshine (maybe only for an hour) nor it is heated so water temperature is colder than usual swimming pools in Philippines. Overall it is nice, it is a few blocks away from the ghetto bar and club area, so it was a plus being away from all that. There is construction in the area so expect loud noise during the day. The only disappointment was the in-house phone system......it doesn't work & hasn't worked on every visit! July & October 2011, you could only call land lines from your hotel phone. On occasion I was able to contact the front desk, however, I could barely hear the clerk on the other end! We have friends in Manila & most residents have only cellphones! We couldn't call them on the hotel phone. A very helpful & friendly desk clerk, Christian was kind enough to let us use his personal cellphone to contact our friends! FIX THE PHONES! If the hotel management is afraid people will skip out on paying their phone bill.......isn't that why all hotels now require a credit card or cash deposit to cover incidentals???????
