This is a Jem of a small hotel. Great design and attention to detail. Our only issue was the dj staying over our room for the after party party. Manager took our complaint and worked it out for us. We would definitely come back.

This was the perfect place to unwind - quiet, private, comfortable with a lovely courtyard and relaxing pool area. Super close (walkable) to Palm Springs downtown shops & restaurants, with it's own absolutely delicious restaurants right next door. Don't miss Birba's pizza and appetizers.

This is a small boutique-style hotel in a great location for walking around downtown palm springs. I enjoyed my stay very much, and would stay again. The only knock I would give the room is that the pillows were uncomfortable for me and the bed was decent but firm.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Alcazar while attending the BNP Paribas open (tennis) in nearby Indian Wells. We also made a couple trips to the Cabazon Outlet. Since our two destinations were in opposite directions the location in the northern part of town was ideal. As for the hotel itself, its a great little Spanish villa with beautiful foliage […] and accents, a nice centrally located pool and sauna, and a friendly staff to go along with. The guest room we were in was rather small but nicely appointed and clean - the vanity light in the bathroom didn't work but was remedied right away by maintenance. Coffee and delicious croissants were complimentary each morning and there was a great little courtyard adjacent to the pool in which to enjoy them.... Lack of a decent continental breakfast was a great disappointment. We were told there would be fruit and croissants and coffee/tea. All there was were stale croissants and coffee that was not great.

Enjoyed stay at Alcazar-room was clean but small. There was no place to open suitcase but on the bed. Price was reasonable. Breakfast was barely a breakfast just coffee/tea and small coffee cake. Grounds were lovely. I'd stay there again but in a larger room.

My husband and I loved staying here. It's quaint, clean and no-nonsense, while still being elegant and unpretentious. The two restaurants on site are fantastic, and it's wonderfully located in downtown. We will definitely stay here again.

My wife & I stayed there for our 5-Year Wedding Anniversary and it was nice. It was right in our price range, which was very convenient. The hotel grounds are VERY NICE and well-maintained. The pool area is prefect for lounging and it was not crowded at all. It seemed like most rooms overlooked the pool which was pleasant. The room we stayed in was […] a King-size, pool-view room. It was WHITE! The floors are white, the walls are white, the bedding is white, & the furniture is white! It looks like you walk into a cloud at first. It wasn't too bad after the inital white-shock! LOL! The bathroom was huge, but it was poorly designed. There was a jacuzzi bathtub in one corner, a small shower in another corner, a small sink, & a toilet wedge between the shower and the sink. There was a ton of empty space which made it feel awkward to say the least. The floors are white, once again, so you can really see any spec of dirt on it. The major disappointment was that the cleaning crew only went around 1 time, so if they skip over your room because you are still in it, then you don't get your room cleaned. It would of also been nice to have a bar available at the pool, like some of the other hotels in Palm Springs, but there is a bar next door and the bartender sold us some closed beers that we were able to take to the pool. The hotel is very, very nice. The room was big, clean and comfortable. A very happy medium between Ritz Carlton and Marriot. The fireplace is a great touch, I had to use it even though it was 90? degrees outside.

The hotel was a hidden gem. We enjoyed taking a early morning swim without kids splashing around. The pool was very elegant, ice water was provided The room and linens were topnotch. Coffee, expresso and tasty sweetbreads were served in the morning.

An oasis within an oasis. Extremely pet friendly as well as people friendly. Recently remodeled and some ongoing it gives a truly clean modern appeareance. The courtyard was beautiful with waterfall glass and gatework of iron and glass very upscale. All staff very friendly and ensured a great stay.

perfect for couples, not family. great getaway. clean rooms, nice location. tucked away in the city. didn't get the chance to use their bicycles to ride around but that was a nice ammenity. love this hotel, will be back with my other half again..

It would have been an improvement on what the hotel offers if there were a place to go outside of one's room, but not outside when the weather is like that. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 20th anniversary and it was awesome. The hotel is just hip and trendy enough to be fun, but not over-the-top pretentious. The bed linens were sumptuous, the room was generously sized, and the grounds were gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this for adults looking for a quiet getaway.

The hotel is lovely. Like a mediterranean villa. Very well kept up, but if you're going in the summer, be prepared that the restaurants might be closed. You can bring food & beverage with you and take to the pool, so that was my only issue - no room service. But I would definitely stay there again!

The adobe style design of the hotel, not uncommon to California, gave me the sense of being in an old movie that romanticized the rancho era from the middle 1800’s.
