Boss Suites Nana Hotel

We had a superb stay. The rooms, breakfast and staff were 1st class. We took advantage of the free tic tic service locally and would recommend this hotel.

Hotel is tucked out of the way off soi 4 - quite a long way from sukhumvit - 500+metres. The taxi mafia are in play and wont use their meters so a walk to sukhumvit is necessary to get a meter cab. General amenity of the hotel is fine..the elevator doesnt go up one tower from the lobby so bags have to go up a flight of stairs. Biggest gripe is the room […] key...their rules are that the key has to be given to the desk when leaving the Hotel. Generally thiis is fine except when you come back - to a different person and ask for your key and you just get it...no security check...I'm sure I could have gotten any key! Place is alittle hard to find but it is away from the main hustle and bustle but walking distrance to shops + pubs. Area around is not very nice but I suppose its like that in most area's. 1 downside was my washing which was supposed to take 1 day took 2 and I almost didn't have a chance to get it back as I was leaving on that day but managed to get […] it before so it was ok. Didn't really get to meet much people, majority of guests were older of age ( 40yrs +) not much of a place to stay for children and young kids. Overall was a good stay. Read more

The Stay at the Boss Suites has been a pleasant addition to my first visit to BKK. The service was good, the breakfast was fine and the people at the hotel were really really nice, friendly and helpful. Only point to note is the quality of the finishing of the Bathroom. The shower is not so straight forward to operate and it seems like a lot of water […] is lost around the bathroom while having a shower, it could do with some more cleaning. The first night I was given a room which smelled to smoke, so if you are not a smoker, make the reception know in advance. However, after requesting to be changed rooms, I was changed immediately and the new room was very good.

Great hotel room, close to the bustle of Sukhumvit but still quiet and out of the way. Complimentary shuttle service to nearby Nana station is very useful - only 20-30Baht to get to Siam/main shopping districts. A good 10-15min walk to the main Sukhumvit Road to get train services, but lots of bars/pubs/clubs/restaurants/etc on the walk there. Pool […] is a bit average. Satisfactory gym facilities. Booked double deluxe & when arrived was told fully booked.... Can't complain as they upgraded me to the Superior Suites. Very nice. Plenty of room, bed very comfy. The hotel is ok. The bathroom needs a LOT of work. The shower works in a funny way, the bathroom gets all wet and the door locks by itself. The room is good though. It is a bit far from main attractions.

There was a lot wrong with this hotel, and it does not deserve to have a 4 star rating at all. When I arrived, my room was not ready and I had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes. Throughout my stay, the people at the reception were unhelpful at worst and indifferent about things at best. The room, once cleaned, was only adequately so. The sink was […] broken, and a room change request was denied since they were "too full". Over the next three days, the room and bathroom were never cleaned properly, and the hand towels were never replaced. Also, the A/C seemed to have a mind of its own and would remain stuck at various temperatures, even after someone came in and "fixed" it. As for location, it is a good 12 minute walk from Nana station. On the plus side, they have a complimentary tuk tuk service from the hotel to the station. Also, the breakfast was good, with quite a variety of things. Overall, not worth the money, and should best be a 2.5 star hotel. Read more

If your looking for a hotel on Soi 4 in the Red Light District you found the right hotel. The service and hotel features were really good. But if your a family I would stay away! Go find a hotel near Soi 11 to 21.... or the river.

we stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay, we knew we were going to spend our time at the hotel only for sleeping. location was good, a few hundred meters from the action which was great not to be on your doorstep. breakfast, wifi all great and also the tok tok shuttle to the station was ideal. i would stay here again

I booked this hotel based on the reviews of others, but I have to say I can't recommend it, and without a doubt there are better places to stay for less in the area. My room was large but quite shabby. The bathroom certainly wasn't as good as some of the photos on the site and despite being a relatively new hotel was already showing serious signs of […] wear and tear. The room wasn't dusted nor were the sheets changed. I was more concerned when I sat reading in bed and noticed small insects leaping across the sheets. I realise this is Bangkok but they looked suspiciously like bugs. I squashed a few on the sheets and went and told reception but they didn't have any more free rooms. Suffice to say the sheets weren't changed the next day. The reception staff never smiled nor greeted me except on checking in/out. The rest of the time they sat around ignoring everybody, which is so unusual for Bangkok. Maybe because I was on my own they assumed I'd return late at night, drunk and with a "friend". No to all of that. The pool was very tiny which wasn't a problem except the seating area became a magnet for the smokers who chose to use that area rather that the designated smoking area at the front of the hotel. In terms of value for money you can't go far wrong with this place. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was decent enough. Being there for only 1 night I can't comment on any of the facilities. Downsides include very erratic broadband service (I couldn't get my mobile to connect and the guy they sent to help me sort it wasn't much use) […] and the power went off for about 30 minutes. If you're a family with children it's probably not the best choice as you have to pass Nana plaza and the Gogo bars to get to it (although they do offer a free tuk tuk service to Nana skytrain). If you're there to party then this won't be an issue. All in all a decent hotel. There are better locations for not much more money (Soi 11 is a better choice in my opinion), but I've also seen far worse places for less money. Read more

Fantastic Hotel!! Recently stayed on Dec. 20,21/11 with my wife and two children. The hotel was very clean and spacious. Hotel service was fantastic and very accommodating, and we have nothing negative to say. The free tuk tuk to the BTS train was convenient. If travelling with small children at night, avoid walking south on Soi 4, from 'Nana' BTS station […] as this is a bar (red-light) district. We arrived into Bangkok and got a taxi to Boss Suites. The hotel is just slightly tucked away from the hustle of Nana. The friendly staff greeted us on arrival with fresh orange juice and carried our bags to our room. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom wasn't as clean but still acceptable. We stayed 2 nights and had breakfast. […] Its was a very good selection of cereals, toast, fruit, Thai and English hot options. We missed breakfast on the 2nd morning, but the staff were hapy enough to get us some egg on toast and juice. The free tuk tuk service is great, especially for a 1st experience of a tuk tuk. Tucked away in a quiet street the hotel has good facilities and an excellent staff. On the plus side is the accessibility to public transport and the security as every overnight guest to your room should deposit their ID at reception. On the downside the gym equipment is mostly broken.

Boss Suites is good place to be in Bangkok. Not so big hotel but really nice place. Sukhumvit Road and related night life of Bangkok is just walk away but its not at all annoying sound near hotel as its just that far from that area. Hotel provides free Tuk Tuk service till nearest BTS stand called Nana and also pick up, which is really great. Rooms […] are good enough, we found some more amenities would make it great but still nothing really makes negative impression. The things i missed in this hotel were, bathroom slippers, conditioner, toothbrushes, bath robs etc.. Free Wifi is plus but don't know why it can't be connected to any mobile phone. Great budget hotel, good location and quiet. I stayed in the JW Marriot the previous evening and I would rather have stayed in this value for money wise! Would stay here again. Bed was comfy, AC worked fine, TV, nice pool and breakfast too. The staff were very helpful too. My shower wasn't that great but okay. You are about 500m from the main road […] but a short walk or they have a complimentary Tuk Tuk service which is brilliant. They drop you at Nana sky-train station or the main road, brilliant service! The bars in Nana are about 250 m away and a great night out. I stayed one night in Boss Suites hotel on my way back to Finland. The hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming. Room design was very chic. There is a free tuktuk that runs from hotel to skytrain. Otherwise I did not enjoy the hotel location.
