Had a two night stay here. The room (single queen with kitchenette) was comfortable. Staff was friendly and also prompt with service. I checked out rather early at 3:45 a.m. and was a bit apprehensive about someone at the front desk being available and quick, but the lady at the desk was johnny-on-the-spot and checkout was instant. The condition of […] the toilet in the bathroom was an issue. The bowl was not totally secured to the floor and the internal valve leaked. Oh, and only one bar of soap and no shampoo supplied. Very easy to find. Love the front entrance to the room along with the back door to the courtyard. Very nice not hearing people moving in a hallway. Very nice location and easy to get in and out of. Will definitely return here on our next trip!

We wanted a better view of the water instead of the pool and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi motor had a high pitched sound which was irritating and having the jacuzzi in front of us offered little privacy. We were wary of the sofa bed because it looked like it wasn't as clean as it could be and both avoided it. The furniture in the room was too large for the […] room which caused us to squeeze by each other in order to pass. We much preferred the second room we were placed in because it was cleaner, had more room and the furniture was more comfortably arranged. We appreciated the balcony although we would have liked to have the ability to turn the light off and on ourselves because it was too bright and we needed more privacy. The staff was excellent and made every effort to accomodate us with what they could. We loved having access to downtown and the ability to walk to a good restaurant and friendly neighborhood bar. I didn't know what to expect based on the mixed reviews. This was one of the nicest places I've been to in a long time. It was very quiet and clean. The pool was immaculate and had plenty of lounge chairs and tables. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is right on the bay, so we never lacked for entertainment...watching […] all of the boats, especially the thunder boats, was a lot of fun. The room was very comfortable, The walls are thin so you can hear everything from next door. There was a coffee maker, but be sure to bring your own coffee and filters. All in all. we will go again. The rates are great!!

The hotel is conveniently located to the beach and other sites in the area. Hotel & grounds are clean and well kept, even has a little gym. The front desk is open 24-7 so they are always available. I would recommend this hotel to visitors or locals in the area.

Staff was not very friendly, room smelled like a very strong disinfectant. Sanitary napkin bags on the back of the toilet looked as though they had fallen into the toilet and pulled back out to dry, yellowed edges. We booked this hotel on the back of a three week road trip taking in Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans, having driven about 1700 miles wanted some quite time before the return flight to UK. We arrived, check in was flawless, very welcoming, went to the room and it was superb. Very large bed, large room, very clean, bathroom small but who cares, the […] view was overlooking the river estuary and you could see the pool too. Loungers on the balcony. The pool was excellent, very clean surroundings and quiet, everything was wonderful and we booked an extra night too. Location wise, there are a couple of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and all the malls and stores are a short drive away. We were made completely at home there.
