      It was an easy stroll into town from the hotel and the staff were very friendly/helpful. We got lucky with parking, the first day we got one of the hotel spots and the second day someone pulled out of a spot across the road just as we arrived.

      The caretaker is More than gracious. Very isolated. We had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed every bit of it, but....... Would not be for everyone. The person looking after it is extremely nice and spoke English. Old but comfortable. Stayed one night and should have styled two. Old village, quiet, quiet and more quiet. Off the beaten track, need a GPS.

      This is the type of hotel we really enjoy...personal service, free internet, free parking good breakfast buffet, reasonable price. Location in a small town convenient to everything the Piedmont region has to offer..wine, good food, beautiful scenery. The owner was eagar to help us; set up a wine tasting with a friend, and had excellent suggestions for what to see, where to eat, etc. The room was simple but clean with a stupendous view of the vineyards. Excellent modern bathroom. It was really a great B & B with a delightful restaurant just adjacent. We lucked out on this one.

      We had a great experience at L'Angolo! The staff is very warm and welcoming. You stay above their restaurant, which is extremely delicious. The cuisine is typical from their region. The Chef is very nice and does a great job. It is not loud staying above the restaurant at all, you will be pleasantly surprised. They set us up at a local winery for a private tour. It was for a wine that we had at dinner...so it was really a neat experience. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous and it is conveniently located in the heard of great Italian Wine country..Borolo, Nebiolo, Barbera...Alba etc. Also the breakfast is great :)

    The Savona is an old hotel that was remodeled about 10 years ago. The single rooms are small and the bathrooms could be a little better but overall the place is good. We have stayed there about five times over the last 20 years. The location cannot be beat and they have free parking.

    Wonderful, central location. Lovely room - spacious with balcony. Private garage was full but street parking was not a problem. Accommodating, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Wonderful base for short drive to Bra, Barbaresco and Barolo for a day of wine tasting. Stayed two nights here and would definitely return.

    This hotel is located in the heart of Alba, and although it is well over 100 years old, it is elegant and charming. The staff handled all of my questions (I am a business traveler from USA) with utmost efficiency. I will always stay here when in Alba.

    We enjoyed our stay in the Hotel Savona in Alba. The room was fine and the breakfasts were very good. We got help with booking a celebration dinner at the nearby Enoclub restaurant. But I found the bed hard and the pillows were solid, so I had trouble sleeping. And the entrance to the parking in a one-way street was tricky to find, other than by driving […] through a pedestrian square. Also for a 4 star hotel I would expect TV stations other than Italian eg. BBC World. Read more

    Desverre har hotellet tydeligvis ikke mer penger igjen til reperasjoner og vedlikehold. I 35 grader fikk jeg et rom med et bråkete apparat som skulle gi kald luft. Det skjedde ikke og jeg skulle få nytt rom. Det skjedde heller ikke. Var jo hyggelig og komme til resepsjonen og få litt kjølig bris. Det var det mest behagelige stedet på hotellet

    Hotell Savona är det absolut bästa alternativet om man vill bo centralt i Alba. Gångavstånd till stadens sevärdheter och restauranger. Savonas eget café är också ett plus, särskilt sen vår - tidig höst. Servicen är mycket bra och personlig. Hela hotellet har nu WIFI, vilket vi numera upplever som ett måste.

    アルバの白トリュフ祭りに合わせて、車で行きました。 ロケーションは中心部にあってとても便利です。 敷地内の駐車場が満車で、近くの駅前の公共駐車場にとめました。アンラッキーなだけなのに、駐車場代を負担しなければならなかったことに不満が残りました。 一方、無線LANは、フロントに言えば、暗証番号を教えてくれて、無料で利用可能です。イタリアでは無線LANが有料なことが多いので、これはいいなと思いました。

Maling/murpuss som flasset av veggen ved inngangsdøren. Badet var fliselagt, men med en del sprukne fliser. Rent og greit nok. Sengene var stenharde og puten enda hardere.     Hotellet ligger midt i Alba, selv rommene er gamle så gjør ikke det så mye, når hotellet ligger så bra til. Hotellets ansatte var gode i Engelsk og veldig hyggelige. Hotellet har parkering, men det var ikke plass når vi kom, mye parkeringsplasser i nærheten, mot avgift (noen euro per natt) :-) God tur

    Mukava hotelli lähellä rautatieasemaa. Bussiasemalle pieni kävelymatka. Pääostoskatu vain parin minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Miellyttävä henkilökunta, yleisilmeeltään siisti hotelli.

    In city center, walking distance from railway-station, shopping possibilities, museums, restaurants and cafees just outside the hotel. Protected parking in hotel behind heavy remotecontrolled gates. Good restaurant with wine tasting in hotel. Pleasant staff speaking at least both english and french. If you navigate by GPS streets and corners are so […] tight just in the city center that you may miss instructions to turn left or right and end up in deadend streets - we blamed the GPS when a police officer was close to fine us.
