I'll be honest, I booked the Days Inn for the price. I figured if it had a bed, then I would make do, having not stayed in a service station motel before. I was delighted to have a large room, comfy bed, clean bathroom, LCD TV, woods for a view and it was lovely and quiet. Bed as on the previous visit was soft and like a water bed?? Lighting outside on parking area wasn't working so no security at all. We had our dog with us and the conditions were dirty and very wet outside. Could I suggest as in other accommodation that we have used previously we have had a towel for drying off the dog and that was in with the £10 payment […] for the pet? The entrance area was left very wet and dirty!! I requested a towel and the receptionist said she hadn't got any and certainly the only ones were white and I couldn't have one of those. Read more

Clean basic hotel at motorway service station. Didn't like the sense of mistrust about it. Your car is photographed and you have to give them your registration number which they plug into their computer. Also to use the internet you have to give them an unreasonable amount of personal information eg date of birth, home address etc. and accept to receive […] adverts. Basic hotel that just meets basic needs. It's not very expensive for a reason, that reason is because it needs improvements. Shower was in poor repair as was the bath. The room itself needed a coat of paint and freshening up. That being said the Internet is quick and free and the staff were beyond expectations

We booked this hotel in full knowledge of it's location as we were visiting old friends where I grew up. Do not expect valuefor money, it's cheap because it's cheap. Firstly, I was very unimpressed by the sofa-bed as part of the family room. My twin 2 year old girls were liable to either a) fall down the large gaps in it or b) cut themselves on the […] exposed metalwork which had been bent back into shape after previous misadventures. They slept on the floor. Secondly, and not fully the fault of the hotel, when baby bath-time arrived the water was green and stagnant! Apparently the water main was cut off due to local roadworks. The receptionist was helpful enough in trying to locate a new room but the whole hotel was affected. Eventually we found alternative accommodation. Hotel ist sauber, Zimmer ok. Für Kurzaufenthalt in Ordnung. Betten sind sehr weich. Leider sind die Fenster nicht schalldicht. Die Umgebungsgeräusche der Autobahn, einer Zuglinie und eines undefinierbaren Piepens waren schon sehr laut. Nichts für einen leichten Schlaf. Für Übernachtung auf Durchreise aber absolut ok.

il y a eu un petit souci à l'arrivée à l'hotel, l'hotesse d'accueil ne voyait pas sur son ordinateur que les nuits étaient déjà payées par carte bleue lors de la réservation faite par téléphone.Elle nous réclamer le prix des nuits et nous avons eu du mal à nous faire comprendre du fait que nous parlions pas l'anglais.

Ondanks dat het bed iets te smal was voor zijn 2en, toch een goede overnachting gehad op de terugweg van Londen. Niet te duur, snel op de M20 richting Dover en de MacDonalds zat er praktisch naast, dus voor een paar pond een ontbijt kunnen nuttigen daar. De mensen zijn erg vriendelijk en bij vragen zullen ze je zeker te woord staan.

Days Inn Maidstone ligt op twintig minuten rijden van Dover en is daarmee een uitstekende plek als laatste stop voor de overtocht. Wij kwamen vanuit Dartmoor en wilden niet continu op onze horloge hoeven te kijken of we de ferry wel zouden halen. Gelukkig maar want de M25 stond vol en onze boot hadden we nooit gehaald. We hebben dit hotel gekozen voor doorreis. Ligging is ideaal, vlakbij de M20. Onze kamer was ruim met aparte ruimte met 2 aparte bedden voor de kinderen. Natuurlijk geen super de luxe, maar voor de prijs die wij betaald hebben was het in orde.

Although there wa a misunderstanding regarding whether I already had paid or not via Hotels.com, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and did everything they could to solve the problem. The hotel room itself is quite basic, but very clean, roomy and comfortable.

It is on the motorway to London from Dover or channel tunnel. Very convinient as there is 24 hours cafe and shop next door. We were on the way to Legoland with 2 kids, and we found it very clean and comfortable. The service was also nice and family friendly. We will be happy to use the place again. Price is so reasonable!
