We stayed over just for the night and at the price the room was just what we needed. The room was pretty basic, but clean and tidy. Let's face it, you don't expect luxury in a hotel on the M6! As somewhere to just sleep it's ideal. If you're looking for something more then it may not be for you.

Hotel was reasona le, although a little overpriced for what it is. There were several hairs in the bathroom and the bed was very uncomfortable-springs digging into my back all night. Staff were pleasant. Food is not available in the hotel itself, but over the road in the service station.

The room was warm, clean and comfortable. I booked three rooms in total for a family trip to Alton Towers. The location was 24 miles away which in hindsight was a bit to far away, that said for what I paid I feel I had value for money. The Hotel was comfortable, it would have been nice had we been given the room we had been promised. On one of the walls there was what looked like tea stains, not very pleasant.

The hotel room was very good - clean and comfortable. I marked the hotel highly on these factors. However, I reduced the scores for service / convenience based on a personal preference at the time. Having been up early, worked all day and returned to the room at 6.30pm, I would have liked a beer or a glass of wine. There was absolutely no provision […] for this in the hotel or the adjoining facilities. I had to drive to Stafford to buy a bottle of wine. Night of booking 23/12/11. We chose to stay here mainly because of it being pet friendly and reasonably priced. We have a dog, and don't like leaving him behind, if we can help it. Getting to the hotel when travelling from the North couldn't be easier. I believe when travelling from the South a minor diversion is necessary, but I would say is worth […] it. The hotel service was excellent. The male receptionist, who's name I unfortunately didn't get, couldn't have been more friendly. The pet friendly room was as comfortable and clean, as any room we've stayed in without the dog. In some instances better. The same would go for the overall presentation of the hotel. In the morning a female member of staff had come on duty, who was equally as friendly. The surrounding neighberhood is as you would expect from a hotel in this type of location. The only let down would be the pillows, being far too thin, If this is something you are particular about there is no inconvenience in taking your own pillow. Hopefully though, Days Inn will address this, as we will most definately be staying again. Read more

this hotel was located close to where i was going the next day, staff were fantastic and let us check in at 5am, room was good value for money. only fault i could find was the shower had no presure , shame cos i like my showers, but would stay here again if i got a room with working shower.

We stayed at this Days Inn for one night while visiting attractions in the area and were very pleased with our accommodation. The lady on the reception desk was friendly and helpful and our room was fresh and clean. The nearby service amenities have a lovely outdoor seating deck area with a pond and ducks and sat there you can't hear any motorway noise […] at. We also appreciated the abundently stocked tea and coffee supply in the room and the full sized kettle! The bed was comfy, the pull out sofa not quite as comfy and the vouchers you can purchase from reception to save a little on food purchased in the services building also helped to save a few pennies. Only downside really was access from the motorway as it seems it can only be accessed from the one side otherwise you have to go up or down a junction to position yourself for the exit. All in all a great stay and would definatley consider this Days Inn for a future stop over! Read more

Great place to stop, very clean and convenient for our day out. Room a bit airless in the night and noisy as it is next to the M6 although we did expect some road noise but we are just not used to road noise living in rural Devon! It was a great breakfast too. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to all the staff who were so helpful and friendly.

staff very friendly and easy. Only downside was the food(breakfast) in Restbite - I know you have no control over them but the quality was very poor. If I ha d not been been on a tight time schedule I would have asked for replacement food.
