We had stayed here before and had a lovely experience however this time was different. Our room wasn't made up and had a nasty odor. We were upgraded to an executive room but found it and the hotel in general needing maintenance. There were two lights out in the room, for example, and the furnishings looked worn. The grounds clearly needed care as well […] as the gardens seemed filled with thistles. Service in the bar was slow and the restaurant menu seemed much less interesting than our last stay. Great way to begin the journey home. Syon Park is a lovely environment to have a restful stop before the long flight home. We would have stayed longer but it is a bit inconvenient for the sights of London. But it's a wonderful place to stay if you want a relaxing weekend. Food was very good too.

The hotel is remarkable; the staff is fabulous. One night was certainly not enough, but that's all the time we had in London. It's quiet and just the best place to stay no matter how much time you have in London. It's really not close to anything, and though the website says it's close to the airport; It's not remotely close. Arrange for a taxi beforehand […] and that will save you lots of cash, or pounds. The room was very clean, very comfortable, and well decorated. And generally, the hotel was very nice. Unfortunately, the 'do not disturb' button panel was not working and the door bell went off on its own often. The bathroom sink was seriously blocked, and when I called for that to be repaired... the front desk didn't pass on the message to maintenance […] - so it took a 2nd call 45 minutes later from me directly to maintenance to get a response. As I was waiting to shower and leave, this was frustrating. The large retangular ponds on the grounds we not operating and contained no water, which hurt the exterior appearance. If I was to stay again, and I would give the hotel another chance based on the general qualities, things would need to be better for the price paid... Read more

We loved the resort. It is located "in London" but expect to pay £50-60 for a taxi to the attractions. If you want to walk to the mass transit (bus) it is a 15 min walk to get off the property. We did love the room and all the resort offered.

We drove from Liverpool and after 4hrs reached the front gate, as guided by the post code given by the hotel. The gate was closed with a sign to go round the park and find the entrance to the car park-different post code. Why couldn't this be said in the first place? The site was excellent. A clean, friendly and modern hotel with a well-equipped and well-maintained gym. Although it has a reasonable local bus service at the back of the hotel, the closest reliable tube service is about 10 minutes away (Gunnersbury) although the hotel does have its own free parking for guests. This really is a magical hotel, placed in Syon park with acres of land to explore. There is a free bike hire service and guests have access (with their room card) to the "secret gardens" which formally belonged to the Dukes of Northumberland. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite, doing everything they could to deliver a very high service. […] All our requests were dealt with efficiently. Our room itself was spotless and spacious with a lovely balcony. The room had everything including a shower and a bath, tea,coffee, slippers and robes. As we stayed for 3 nights everything was continuosly topped up and our room was cleaned frequently. The spa had a steam room,sauna,jacuzzi, and a nice size pool. Childrens' use of the leisure club is limited with access from 9am-11am & 4pm-6pm, which was a little annoying. A little let down was the attitude of the spa staff who thought they were more important than the guests and also seemed to favour the leisure club members rather than the hotel guests. However this was not a big issue and it didnt affect our stay. Breakfast was superb with an amazing buffet including everything you'd expect. Apart from the buffet you can order food from the kitchen and hot drinks which is all inclusive. Staff at breakfast were efficient and always willing to assist! We had a perfect time! We originally planned to stay for 2 nights but loved it so much that we stayed for an extra night! We cannot wait to return during Christmas!:) Read more

The room, and the hotel generally, were stylishly and perfectly decorated to a very high standard. The technology in the room was incredible including a flat screen TV in the walk in shower and a Mac mini contacted to the 42 inch TV in the bedroom! A lot of hotels now have air recirculation systems, not air conditioning, and yet they are advertised as A/C. This hotel being one of them. There's a nice control pad on the wall which gives a great placebo effect of being able to control the temperature. The room got very warm and it's only May. This wouldn't be a problem if you could open the balcony […] door. I'd actually prefer that, but the hotel is directly under the Heathrow approach and the noise is very very loud. So we were woken up by the planes. The hotel offered no refund or gesture of apology. This spoiled a really nice hotel. Hotels, take note - get proper A/C!!! If a guest complains a unit is too noisy, tell them not to unit, don't annoy people with these stupid fake a/c systems. Read more

Overall nice hotel. Service is not fantastic. But this is due to fact the hotel has just been bought by hilton. More staff would help increase service levels. And staff need training especially in room service. But overall good and would stay again.

Very good, staff friendly and polite. A luxury hotel. Enjoyed the steam room and sauna. Negative points, Check -in was slow with only one receptionist and a line of guests forming. Whirl pool was not working on the day we arrived, and on the day we left the whirlpool and the swimming pool were out of action. Not good on a one night stay!

We booked one night through Hotels.com. The total price was £115 for one night including breakfast. When we checked in we were told the room will be ready in about 10 minutes and we were told to wait in the bar, but we waited about 30 minutes. The surprise came at the check out when we were told to pay an extra £82 for the mini bar which we did not […] request. The room was comfortable, but there was underwear left in the bathroom by someone and possibly; the person who cleaned the room did not notice it. My main criticism is the extra charges for the mini bar, the hotel should make it clear that there would be extra charges for this service and it should be optional because nearly half the items in the fridge are alcohol drinks and not everyone drinks alcohol. Lovely hotel set in park land making a pleasant walk to Twickenham Stadium about 2.5 miles . Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Only had breakfasts which were excellent. Large free car park. Coffee was very strong and expensive, but there is a garden centre 100yds away serving excellent reasonably priced coffee.

Really enjoyed the hotel, it's brand new and thus full of every mod con. The spa, I'm told, is fantastic. We stayed here with our six month old, the staff could not have been more helpful and understanding to our needs. Would also strongly endorse a visit to the nearby Syon Park (the adjacent garden center's pretty decent also).
