Hotel shows age but overall comfortable. Beds an rooms were neat restful. The staff were always helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend the hotel.

Nice place, clean, staff are great. The location of the place is not ideal, it's hard to find. The hotel is located along with the residential neighborhood. It takes 45 minutes by taxi to the airport. Taxi ride is about 250 pesos to the airport. Breakast menu is so simple. The nearest eatery or restaurant is about 15 minutes walk. Don't ask let them do a laundry for you, they will lost your item.

The hotel is located next door to the Airport. No Fox News on the cable TV but had anti-American Al Jazeera. Air conditioning in the room was inadequate. Had no ironing board or iron available. Do not eat at the hotel buffet food was terrible quality and cold. Only three choices for beer at the hotel bar. Two local brands and Heineken. The only reason I would stay again is it is very convenient to the Airport.

I wish I just stay on this resort in my visit in Cebu. I stayed in other resort and was disappointed with the accommodation and service not to mention the price of those resort that I paid. I enjoyed the ambiance of the resort, the friendliness of the staff they all catered to the comfort of their guest. The breakfast was soo yummy and everything I'm craving was there... what more could I ask. Last but not least, we had so much fun swimming in the swimming pools with 3 choices. Looking forward on my next stay in Maribagu Bluewater.

I recently stayed at the Bella Vista Hotel from March 26th to April 6th, 2012. The van from the hotel picked me up at the airport after a very short wait. From the moment I got there, the staff of the hotel was very helpful in every way. The staff was friendly, greeting us every morning when we went down for breakfast. The complimentary breakfast was very good every day, and I was especially happy that on Fridays they served fish for breakfast as i stayed there during lent. We went swimming on the roof, and the pool and the area surrounding the pool was very clean. We had some clothes that needed to be washed, and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job with the time they needed and prompt delivery to our room exactly when they said it would be done. If i had any complaint, it would be that some of the towels and sheets and some dark stains on them. This didn't bother me, but it might bother some other people. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people, and when I return to Cebu at the end of the year, I will stay there again!!

"Great hotel for the price. No beach access."
This hotel is overall a fantastic hotel for what you would pay - as long as you're not expecting a beach resort or even anything close to a beach. Owned by Henry Sy, this hotel is conveniently located next to SM City Cebu. However that's the only positive aspect of this hotel's location. The hotel is otherwise located in an extremely industrial area […] on reclaimed land, surrounded by shipping companies and their walls of containers. Not a very pleasant view from the room or the pool area. The hotel is also away from Cebu city center, which I was a bit disappointed by. With that said, everything about the hotel is what you come to expect from a five star hotel. Great service, modern rooms with quality fixtures and furnishing (not those that look good in picture but completely non functional in practice), excellent breakfast spread, and a grand lobby. The pool area is a bit small with water dept up to 5 ft at most. But the fitness center will satisfy most workout buffs with a modern, clean and spacious area, as well as lockers and steam room. The spa offers also reasonably priced massages, facials and nail care. Lobby bar serves a cocktail menu that won't bleed your wallet dry. Best of all, you get a 50% off coupon on most drinks there upon check-in. Traveling to Mactan takes about 20-30 mins without traffic. So island hopping is still doable as long as you don't mind a short drive. Read more

This is the nicest hotel so far that I've stayed at in Cebu City out of all my trips there. It is a little bit more on the pricier side but well worth it. The breakfast selection was incredible. "Spacious Clean Rooms, Convenient Location"
Located across street from SM City Shopping Mall. The mall has many good restaurants & coffee shops. Hotel rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Free high speed Internet both wireless and via in-room Ethernet cable. Flatscreen LCD TV and in-room fridge/mini-bar. Nice outdoor pool. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

"Reception Staff Were Useless"
My main purpose of staying in this hotel is that I had been to a cheaper place and experienced some problems. I also wanted to watch the Formula 1 qualifying and race on the Saturday and Sunday. I checked ratings and this hotel seemed to have one of the best. On check-in I arrived early and was told I would have to wait for my room. I was fine with […] this and gave my mobile number and was told I would be called when my room was ready. I was then told I could have a welcome drink and waved in a direction towards the other side of the hotel. I walked off and then was not sure how I was meant to collect the welcome drink as it was far away and they had no idea who I was. The staff member then came over as I was obviously looking a bit confused and explained that I could just ask for one. I then waited for a few hours. The checkin time was 2pm and I was hoping to watch the Formula 1 Quality at 1:50pm. Around 1.40pm I went up to the desk again and explained I wanted to watch the TV at 1:50pm and did she have any idea when my room would be ready. The lady then rang someone and talked for a while and then informed me she did not know. I said the check-in should by 2pm, right? She said no, we cannot guarantee that. I then asked if she could give me any idea at all. No Sir. I walked off rather annoyed and sat back down and waited. About 3 or 4pm I was getting hungry, so I went next door to SM Mall for some food. I was really angry by this stage. After eating, I came back and had still not received a call and nobody had come to notify in the waiting area that my room was ready. So imagine my surprise when I come back later and walk up to the desk to be told my room is ready. I ask, "Do you happen to know when it was ready". The lady checks... 2pm. So obviously either someone is lying. The lady who rang should have known my room was being cleaned (which it must have been to be ready by 2pm) in the first place, or the second lady was lying that my room was ready at 2pm. One of the nicest hotels Ive been. The room is new, clean, elegant and suprisingly affordable. I love the place coz it's so quiet and peaceful plus its near the bureau of customs where my transactions take place. My family and I stay in this hotel for 6 days in February 2012. We like their tight security and walking distance to SM Mall. The tour services offered by the Concierge is well worth the money spend. However, dont believe hotel will offer you a earlier check in if you come to the hotel in the morning unless you pay the 50% more of the hotel's daily rate. I was on hold for 20 minutes and was asked twice about the details of my phone call to Canada. Not very happy that the information wasn't passed to another operator. This hotel looks rly nice and fance, the poolside is big, staff is friendly (perhaps even overfriendly as I am blond girl and staying there alone, felt abit akward) But, there were more misuses than plusses: the food was really bad and expensive. The two times I ordered the food, first time the club sandwich was cold and tasteless, second time the […] lasagne was cold and salty. The breakfast buffet may seem fancy, but in the end, there was nothing for me to eat except for sushi, youghurt and juice. All the foods were greasy or too foreign to a tourist. I don't usually eat a whole leg of a pork in its salty greasy sauce on my breakfast. The location being right next to SM mall may seem nice. But then again, there is nothing else close. The hotel is on a harbour area which looks boring and grey. The hotel was fance and decorated and lighted out very nicely, but if they'd want to impress the customers like me to come again, they'd need to invest on the food they are serving. The check in staff were a bit arrogant and impersonal. I felt like I was standing in a line at the airport while checking in. The room was OK but does not meet your expectations but still it was the cleanest room among the hotels I have stayed in Cebu. The swimming pool was only four feet deep ...

I was very suprised at unkind receptionists. I booked a non-smoking room with breakfast but they gave me a smking room without my consent. Second morning, I met duty manager. She was sending text messages by her iphone while I was talking. It was very unpleasant manners. I'll never book a Radisson hotel again. I recommend Marriot cebu.
