Bed was comfortable. Located next to a highway had traffic noise. Located between two other motels so locating parking lot was confusing. Only half the outlets in the room worked. Very pleasant staff working.

We were really very pleased with this hotel. It is right off the interstate and in the heart of Topeka's best shopping and dining area. Just a little tricky to get to the entrance, but not really a problem. Desk attendants were very good and accommodating. We were very pleased with the breakfast dining area and the free hot breakfast was excellent with a nice variety of breakfast items to choose from. For being right next to the interstate, we were pleasantly surprised how quiet the room was all night. Booked this through Expedia while travelling by car from Denver to Chicago. We were 2 adults and 2 children (16 and 13). The room was cleaner than expected, it's not much of a motel, but it's clean and tidy. My husband & I stayed here during a motorcycle trip. We had booked it sight unseen, and were happy with our choice. We didn't want to spend a lot of money for a place we would only be at for sleep and breakfast, but we wanted someplace clean and safe. Americinn more than fit the bill! The stay was very enjoyable. My family and I found the motel clean and comfortable. The only disappointment was the pool water was cooler and the hot tub hotter than we like so we were unable to enjoy these as much as we hoped. I spent 2 nights at this hotel while doing some work in Topeka. Overall - clean room, surprisingly quiet, and helpful staff. Front desk gave me great maps and directions to my destination, as well as double checked with me the next morning to make sure I found it OK. Pros - Free internet, TV (with movie channels), quiet rooms, great pillows, comfortable […] bed. Great water pressure/shower! Heater/AC both worked great, plenty of lighting, lighted hallways, hot tub/pool open late, and a great staff. Cons - Breakfast is a bit weak, but free. Not too many plugins in the room, enough for 1 alarm, 1 phone, and 1 laptop - thats about it. While the shower is large, the actual bathroom itself was pretty small. I am not a large person, and I had to enter sideways in order to close the door. Very small, kind of odd. A larger built individual would definitely struggle....Lastly, the parking lot is a bit difficult to get in and out of. Though easy to find, this hotel is tucked away in a little corner. Overall, I had a great visit to Topeka, and the AmericInn was just fine. Nothing luxourious or exciting, but certainly nothing bad. Great little stay for the price! I will be back to Topeka several more times in the next few months, and I will definitely return to the AmericInn. Read more

The only thing that we did not care , the shower pressure was not the greatest. Other then that the hotel was comfortable, the beds were comfortable. We would stay there again.

I thought that the hotel was very nice, and the service was great. It was affordable, well located and was maintained well. My family and I also liked the breakfast offerings and ammenities. I plan on staying there again, the next time we travel in that direction. I t was restful and quiet.

We stayed in a double queen room that was advertised as having fridge and microwave. Did not and room wasn't anything like the picture. Was kind of crowded for 4 adults and bathroom was small. Looks like despite their claims of extra soundproofing on "all Americinn hotels", they just slapped their sign on an old Motel 8. Killed 3 spiders in the bathroom when we arrived. Noted water damage in the corner of the room with bubbling wall paper and some mold growing. Some brilliant person tiled the pool area with glazed ceramic tile, watched my […] daughter slip on it 3-4 times (not while running). Hot tub was dirty. After reading multiple signs in the hotel room boasting the sound proofing of the room, we allowed our 4 year old (who weighs 35 pounds) to stay up a little late since she was adjusting to a 3 hour time change. At midnight, we received a call from the front desk reporting "excessive noise" from the room below us which was her chasing after our dog. NO mention of the non-refundable, per pet charge in this "pet friendly" hotel. Payed more in pet fees (for two dogs) than we did for the room. Would NOT recommend, nor stay again. Read more

Filthy Room, Kleenex in bathroom had only two sheets, rip in chair, bathtub lacked non-slip surface, water pressure in sink faucet extremely low, disgusting smell in room, courtesy blow dryer broken intake fan covered in lint, and in the morning when I went to the spa and pool the door was locked with a sign that said, "Out of Service."

The location of this hotel is right off I75. This hotel look like a reciently remodeled building from the front and the lobby looks remodeled as well. This hotel recently changed hands from a Comfort Inn to an Americinn so they were still working on that transition. However, the lobby was very inviting and you could tell that they had recently replaced the carpeting and furnishings. It was nicely decorated and seemed to have ample seating for guests to either surf the net or have breakfast as they […] did provide several items for breakfast. The room was clean, and somewhat updated. It appeared that they re-utilized some of the furnishings as some showed wear and were stained. There was a flat screen tv and a coffeemaker in the room but the coffeemaker was not plugged in and there was no plug conveniently located close to where it was sitting. It appeared that you would have to either sit it on the table where you would likely have your laptop or in the bathroom on the counter in order to use it. The bathroom was extremely small and you had to close the door completely to used the toilet or otherwise you would have to sit crooked so that your knees did not hit the door. The walls were very thin. I could hear the older couple next door to me talking plainly even over the tv at times. I travel quite a bit throughout the year for business. This hotel was one of the cleaner ones I have stayed in and I wuld recommend it to others that are passing through Topeka snd need a comfortable place to stay. Read more
