This was a wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed every moment of my trip. The hotel staff arranged 10 days of travel for me to Sapa and Ha Long bay, as well as, Hanoi city tours. This would be an excellent hotel if only for it's central location, only two short blocks from Hoan Kiem Lake, which is the absolute center of Hanoi. Despite being so close, the street itself is fairly quiet, which is something that you will come to appreciate in the frenetic hustle and bustle of the streets. Added to this is an absolutely wonderful […] and helpful staff of this hotel. They were of great assistance while I was staying for 10 days, showing me where to get cellphone (the manager, Spring, even let me borrow one of hers for a few days), directions on where to go and things to do. In a city where service is hit-or-miss, the Jasmine is tops. The rooms are clean and well kept, and are actually pretty Vietnamese in their layout, which means small room and smaller bathroom. You do get your own personal water heater, which means a hot shower is always on tap. The bathrooms are very tiny ( I couldn't open the door if I were on the toilet, for instance). Some of the fixtures and furniture were tired, if well kept, and it appears that they are trying to go through and replace items one at a time (for instance, I had a new toilet and TV, but an old shower). Those who demand all the perfection (and uniform blandness) of a Western chain hotel, however, should look elsewhere. This was a wonderful, unique hotel and I am definitely planning on staying here again when I next visit Hanoi. Read more

We booked a deluxe room with two beds and balcony online, but when we arrived we were shown to a tiny room with one bed and no balcony, and were told that was all that was available and that our online rate was "a mistake". Eventually we were convinced to get a taxi to their other hotel - the Hotel Posh - not what we felt like doing at all. This arrangement […] was OK and we were treated well from that point on. Very nice location, if you like walking, you can walk to all the sights around the area. It was only a 5 minute walk to Hoan Kiem lake, and the area is very busy, with restaurants and good nightlife. We always walked back from the centre of Hanoi at night (we were a group of 3 girls.) The service is excellent, the people there are super friendly and […] pretty much had all the services we required (including mail boxes and a washing service where they charge by the weight rather than the individual garment, so works out to be cheaper.) They even have a small library there just in case for a cheeky bit of holiday reading! Breakfast is good, it's not a buffet and you have to order it from a set menu, which I actually preferred, as you know the food has been freshly made. It's good for cheap accommodation - the room itself is quite small, but comes equipped with a large TV. The bathroom was good too, considering the price you are paying. The fixtures are slightly old, and one of our plugs didn't work, but these problems did not affect our stay at all. Definitely would recommend this place if you are staying in Hanoi, mainly because of the excellent service. They genuinely make you feel welcome. Read more

Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, the pre-arranged transfer booked with the hotel did not arrive. Despite the hotel having my phone number, no contact was made to advise of the no-show. After calling the second of the numbers that the hotel advised to use in such cases - the first one was incorrect, I was told that the driver had broken down en route. […] Fortunately, another taxi driver was on-hand and available to make the transfer, albeit nearly an hour after clearing customs. The hotel night porter was very apologetic and checked us in to this highly recommended establishment quickly. Being a short, overnight stay, when it came to checking out early the following morning I was more than a little shocked at still being asked to pay for the fouled-up transfer. Whilst I can appreciate that US$18 goes a lot further in such places as Vietnam, the fallout caused by infuriating customers should not be under-estimated and will have a cost of its own. This was the only instance in a 3 month trip around SE Asia where customer service was poor in what appeared an otherwise great hotel. Read more

Street noise was a serious issue in our deluxe double room with balcony, however this noise problem could be very easily overcome by installing secondary glass doors behind the 4 wooden balcony doors at the hotel's' front. A chaque fois, ils ont tente de recuperer le montant des deux premieres nuits. Il nous a fallut etre tres vigilent. Nous sommes restes avec l impression qu on tentait de nous enfirouaper (impossibilite de bouger a l exterieur de la ville en attendant nos prolongations de visas, la difficulte d entreprendre ces demarches par nous memes, etc..) Die Lage vom Hotel ist super. Man kann bequem alles zu Fuss erreichen. Die Zimmer zur Strasse sind etwas zu laut. Aber hier kann man ja einfach ein ruhiges buchen. Einrichtung ist so wie auf der Website zu sehen sehr autentisch und geschmackvoll. Der Frühstücksraum etwas eng und die Auswahl ok.

Nous avions réservé 3 chambres et nous n'avons eu que 2 chambres à notre arrivée à l'hôtel Jasmine. Pour s'excuser, l'hôtelier nous a vendu un tour sur la Baie d'Along en nous faisant une réduction qui n'en étais pas une (en fait même tarif que tous les autres touristes). En plus, arrivés au bateau il manquait également une chambre; Chose que l'hôtel […] Jasmine savait dès le départ sans nous le dire (le Tour operator nous l'a confirmé)... 低料金のわりには、まあよかったかな、といったところです。 地の利が優れていて、どこへ行くにも便利です。 ホテルの規模も、大きすぎず小さすぎず、好きなタイプでした。 毎日フルーツを部屋に用意していただけるのもうれしいです。 部屋がじめじめしているのが気になりましたが、滞在期間中、ハノイのどこに行っても雨で湿度が高かったので、たぶんこれはホテルの問題ではないだろうと思います。 ただし！　モーニングコールを頼んだら、30分後くらいにかかってきました（苦笑） 部屋に時計がないので、これから行かれる方は、ご自身でアラームを用意しておくことをお勧めします。

部屋はヴェトナム仕様で可愛かったのですが 水まわりがよくありませんでした。気温１０度台を予想してバスタブ付きにしましたが ５分もたず水になりました。 掃除も行き届いてないです。 最悪は ポットの中にいつ使ったのかわからない水が入ったまま。 ちっちゃい虫もごそごそ。
