"Overall great hotel for location and price."
Great little hotel right off the Plaza. Clean and comfortable (although my bed was a bid squeaky). Checking in was good. I know it is the off season but I wish the lobby opened sooner (not until 8am) for coffee & questions.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would definitely stay there again"
The place was great. The room was a little cozy, but overall we were really happy with the place and would stay there again. Amenities were natural and we really liked how eco conscious the place was. Bed was also pretty comfy and the fridge and microwave were new.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great stay! Comfortable room, though no real view. Still, the room was clean, stylish, and comfy. The lobby staff was excellent! Friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent small, independent hotel. A tremendous value right in the heart of Santa Fe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love this hotel"
This was my second stay at the Luxx. I love this hotel! It is beautiful and is in an excellent location. I do think that charging $20 to park in the garage next door is pretty steep. I think they should give us a break on that. However, since I purchased my hotel through a discount internet group, it appears that I was not charged for the parking after […] all. Service otherwise is very gracious. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfort - Value - Location"
Comfort - Value - Location . A well-appointed room for a really good price. There is an Espresso shop right on the property. Very pleased, will return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, comfy beds"
I loved our stay at the Luxx. The location was perfect, and the beds were so comfortable. We especially loved the quaintness and uniqueness of a locally owned place, much more enjoyable than a big chain hotel. Would definitely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Thoroughly adequate, good location"
"Luxx" appears to be the hotel decorator's version of "Vegas" -- there was gold grout in the bathroom floor tile! We were looking for a hotel near the plaza in Santa Fe for Christmas, and this fit the bill, for less than many of the others in the area. Service was sparse -- it wasn't always easy to find the one person who was manning the desk, although […] he was pleasant and helpful when we did find him. And at the prices they charged, breakfast would have been nice. But there's an adjacent coffee/pastry/gelato place that opens early, which was great. Bed too soft, heater worked great, bathroom cold. Thoroughly adequate. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice but small"
The hotel is right downtown in the old town area. It was good for one night but would be cramped for a longer stay. It's $20 for overnight parking which isn't included in the room rental.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
An interesting hotel...located down a hallway, left, another hallway, left again! Self Parking costs $20...No food in hotel, but free espresso shots. Although plenty of great restaurants and the Plaza within walking distance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Sweet boutique by the plaza!"
I loved staying here! It's in a sweet location in a really old quirky building. We lucked out and got the only room with a private door leading out to the patio and hot tub. It's not super fancy but it was not expensive at all! Will totally stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love this place!"
The hotel is very fancy and nicely kept. Right in the heart of central Santa Fe and plenty of things to do. Will definitely go back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location - funky and dark"
The hotel location is great - central location just a few blocks from the square. The room was clean and comfortable, but quite small and overall very dark - place is a bit funky. There is a very small outdoor area w/ hot tub and places to sit, but there's no view or real ambiance. Lobby as well isn't conducive for hanging out if you just need some […] down time and don't want to lay on the bed. There wasn't any dresser or place for clothes other than the closet, which only had 6-8 hangars, and just a hard wood chair at the desk for sitting. There is no one there at night, so you're sort of on your own if you actually needed anything or had a problem. There were some obnoxious guests who decided to use the outdoor patio area at 3AM so that was annoying since we had our window open because the room was too warm. For our first trip to Santa Fe it was OK, but I would not go back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Luxx staff was super nice. The rooms were just okay and a little tired. Location was perfect. walking distance to all the great areas in the square and around the square. they should definitely invest in a full sized ironing board. The furniture was very tired and lighting in the room was very dim. Plugging in phone chargers were a pain. they should […] add extension cord from behind the bed. There was a mini fridge which was great but no water bottled water in the room. no real work out area which would have been nice. For the price I would have expected more. "What a fabulous experience!"
What a great experience I had in the heart of downtown Santa Fe! Steps away from great shops, galleries, eateries and more. It was comfortable, clean and delightful. I couldn't figure out the tv, but that was user's error I'm sure. There's coffee and water in the lobby always and the entrance is shared by a sushi restaurant and wonderful coffee shop. […] Eclectic and unusual, I loved it. I would have given it 5 stars, but I wanted two beds and they didn't have such a room. The "front desk" is not available 24/7, I'm allergic to down and the beds had down, and the walls seemed thin though the guests were delightful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We enjoyed our stay at the Luxx . The location was great, lots of restaurants and shopping in walking distance . It was nice to have a coffee shop under the same roof.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice hotel, only a couple of blocks from the Plaza. The room was pleasant and clean. Hotel was quiet. Good restaurants close by.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Exceptionally nice staff and close to plaza"
Very enjoyable place to stay and access the plaza.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Funky, interesting, comfortable, convenient"
Parking is expensive - seems true of the entire Plaza area, except for evenings where business lots open for restaurant traffic. Perfect location for walk-about days -- onsite snacks, ice creams, coffee & sushi all quite good..., shops, tourist activities, performing arts venues & dozens of terrific restaurants VERY close. Rooms do NOT have a view -- […] seemed a reasonable trade-off. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The entrance to the hotel was very confusing, down dark hallways that were unkept. Hotel check in took way too long. The carpet in our room was very dirty and our window opened onto an alleyway. "great location for discovering the centre town"
located in the cente of Santa Fe, clean and comfortable. nice rooms and good outside pool and seating facilities. Great service when checking in, but nobody available when checking out although it was during normal business hours. Closing/opening times of the lobby was not really to identify.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was in town for a business trip and found the Luxx t be very central comfortable and well appointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely boutique hotel"
We had a great stay. This place reminds me of a "safari lodge" with curiosities from around the world. It's right next to my favourite hot chocolate/gelato place (Ecco Espresso and Gelato) too. And close to all of Santa Fe's main attractions. The front desk staff were helpful, both in the evening and in the morning. Room was clean and featured a TV that […] has access to Netflix. we were looking forward to this hotel from the pictures we saw on the website, but it was even nicer than we were expecting. the men who checked us in were very friendly, and the wine and cheese hour was a nice surprise too. had a nice time sitting out back in their outside lounge area. room was very nice and comfortable. would stay here anytime!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Boutique hotel, centrally located"
Hotel is near the plaza and close to several museums and good restaurants. Furnishings are funky, but the rooms have character. There is a nice patio in the back. Cons: hotel is hard to locate, breakfast is not included and staff is non-existent. When a couple of guests, including myself wanted to check out in the morning, there was no one at the reception; […] we ultimately left without informing the front desk. Luckily, the rooms are keyless and since my reservation was prepaid there was no problem. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I liked it"
It was on the same street as the convention center. Keyless check in was really convenient and it had a funky boutique hotel vibe. I'd be happy to stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great, quiet location. Good value."
We travel to Santa Fe quite often and this was our second time at the Luxx, it is a great location extremely quiet and well maintained. I actually left a jacket there last week and guess we'll need to return next week to retrieve it, oh well, things could be worse. :)Genuine Expedia guest review
"The Luxx is a gem in the heart of Santa Fe!"
First - different experience is at check in (you've pre-reserved) - nothing to sign, you're just given the access code for the door and that's it! Same with check-out, you’re just leave. When we arrived our room was not ready yet so we got an upgrade. What a pleasant surprise. This boutique hotel offered rooms with a very modern vibe. Each room is unique […] and the staffs are kind and professional. The room was nice decorated, clean, quiet and comfortable. The king bed was a very comfortable. At the courtyard is a Hot Tub, outdoor living room and BBQ area. In room HDTV with Blu-Ray player, free internet, in-room refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker/supplies. In lobby is Lounge with coffee area and library, great place to hang out. This place is beautiful and luxurious for a great price. You feel like you are at home, not a hotel. Outside the hotel entrance is, on one side, a coffee/gelato/bakery place, and on the other side Japanese restaurant. Next to the hotel is a pay, public parking. You can park your car on the street from 8pm to 8am for free. The best part was that it was really close to the plaza! I would definitely recommend staying here and We'll be back! "Cute, clean, quiet, affordable and downtown"
This is a great little place. I would definitely stay here again, especially if I was arriving late in the day and staying a few days. It's reasonable, cute and convenient, with adjoining parking. My only complaint is that check in is at 4 and although I was told that we might be able to check in early if we called that morning, the answer when we called […] was No, because all the rooms were full the night before. I didn't get that because I am sure some rooms get cleaned before others. Since we were in town for just one day we wanted to arrive before 4 pm, drop our perishables in the room refrigerator, change and then go walk around town. Waiting until 4 pm was inconvenient and seemed a little inflexible. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location for walking about Santa Fe, NM"
Terrific location about two blocks off the Plaza in Santa Fe, NM. Room was comfortable, a bit tight, but workable. Staff closes up at 10 p.m. and doesn't always get back to the hotel early in the morning. Amenities are not a strong point, but with a coffee shop and sandwhich bar built into the hotel, good food and wi fi aren't very far at all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"happy repeat customer"
This is a great value for the location. Will definitely return again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nothing really to write home about. They're going for the "shabby chic" vibe. Think of a glorified hostel. Overpriced to be sure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"scary but nice"
The hotel was great. The only think that was wrong was in the middle of the night someone walked into our room via back door. Supposedly it was security. I screamed really loud and they left without saying a word. Other than that, the hotel was awesome. I would highly recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fabulous and quiet!!"

"Great Place to Stay in Santa Fe"
I was on my way from Denver, CO to Las Cruces, NM when I found this gem of a hotel online. We stayed for a great price right downtown Santa Fe. The staff was friendly and accessible, the atmosphere quirky and fun. My only regret is that we arrived too late to really get to enjoy the sights of Santa Fe. I would definitely return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
On check-in I wasn't sure if I would enjoy the experience. However, the room was spacious and well-appointed and surprisingly quiet. The central location near the plaza was a plus and staff kept the room very clean. I'd book it again!Genuine Expedia guest review
Great hotel. Very eclectic, and the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small quite old style hotel. Very close downtown."
I was just there for a few hours and wanted a quick slice of Santa Fe. This hotel was perfect. It's a bit tricky to find, and parking before 6 p.m. is a challenge, but it was worth it. The Hotel consists of an older multi-use building in the heart of Santa Fe. You walk down the buildings hallway to find the checkin, but the guys that run the hotel were […] pleasant and helpful. The room was dark with little outside light, but did have a frig, coffee and micro. It reminded me of a small local hotel in San Fran or NYC which is a bit strange for New Mexico. So if you want the best value in a local stay with a perfect local to explore the central city, stay here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
great location and fine for one night. Room well-decorated and clean. Service sketchy - no one on duty at 8 a.m. to checkout. Funky decor in lobby which is reached down a dark hall way.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A terrific boutique hotel in Santa Fe"
a wonderful boutique hotel located just a block or so off the plaza; excellent service, interesting decor, large rooms, quiet, independent coffee/ice cream place at the front entrance, across the street from the santa fe library. Could not have been nicer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pied a terre in Santa Fe"
The perfect location 1 block from Plaza, and room had an alcove w sofa and tv. So could spread out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed here with my sisters on a girls-only trip and definitely wanted to stay on or near the plaza to enjoy some night life. We loved being in such easy walking distance of everything near the plaza and the convenient parking. This was my first time in a "boutique" hotel, so I wasn't sure just what to expect. It was not a typical hotel experience, […] but it had everything we needed for a short stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Location and quiet in DT Santa Fe"
We stayed 4 nights, and so manager 'upgraded' us to larger room. Outside patio and hottub a plus. The the best is that you walk everywhere, in 1 block of plaza, restaurants, and shuttle that gets you t Canyon Road, railyard or other areas of SF. Could not be nicer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our room was the size of a matchbox. The air conditioner did not work properly. Best feature was the good location. We will not be returning to this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
