The room was small but it was clean and well laidout. The staff was friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel, only a couple of blocks from the Plaza. The room was pleasant and clean. Hotel was quiet. Good restaurants close by.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The entrance to the hotel was very confusing, down dark hallways that were unkept. Hotel check in took way too long. The carpet in our room was very dirty and our window opened onto an alleyway. When it was time to check out, no one was available until 3:00pm. Another couple from Holland were trying to check in but could not because of no desk cler […] k. "great location for discovering the centre town"
located in the cente of Santa Fe, clean and comfortable. nice rooms and good outside pool and seating facilities. Great service when checking in, but nobody available when checking out although it was during normal business hours. Closing/opening times of the lobby was not really to identify.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was in town for a business trip and found the Luxx t be very central comfortable and well appointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely boutique hotel"
We had a great stay. This place reminds me of a "safari lodge" with curiosities from around the world. It's right next to my favourite hot chocolate/gelato place (Ecco Espresso and Gelato) too. And close to all of Santa Fe's main attractions. The front desk staff were helpful, both in the evening and in the morning. Room was clean and featured a TV that […] has access to Netflix. we were looking forward to this hotel from the pictures we saw on the website, but it was even nicer than we were expecting. the men who checked us in were very friendly, and the wine and cheese hour was a nice surprise too. had a nice time sitting out back in their outside lounge area. room was very nice and comfortable. would stay here anytime!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Boutique hotel, centrally located"
Hotel is near the plaza and close to several museums and good restaurants. Furnishings are funky, but the rooms have character. There is a nice patio in the back. Cons: hotel is hard to locate, breakfast is not included and staff is non-existent. When a couple of guests, including myself wanted to check out in the morning, there was no one at the reception; […] we ultimately left without informing the front desk. Luckily, the rooms are keyless and since my reservation was prepaid there was no problem. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I liked it"
It was on the same street as the convention center. Keyless check in was really convenient and it had a funky boutique hotel vibe. I'd be happy to stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location for walking about Santa Fe, NM"
Terrific location about two blocks off the Plaza in Santa Fe, NM. Room was comfortable, a bit tight, but workable. Staff closes up at 10 p.m. and doesn't always get back to the hotel early in the morning. Amenities are not a strong point, but with a coffee shop and sandwhich bar built into the hotel, good food and wi fi aren't very far at all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"happy repeat customer"
This is a great value for the location. Will definitely return again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nothing really to write home about. They're going for the "shabby chic" vibe. Think of a glorified hostel. Overpriced to be sure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"scary but nice"
The hotel was great. The only think that was wrong was in the middle of the night someone walked into our room via back door. Supposedly it was security. I screamed really loud and they left without saying a word. Other than that, the hotel was awesome. I would highly recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fabulous and quiet!!"
We loved this hotel!! I was at the end of the Santa Fe Plaza, which made it very easy to enjoy walking! The staff was VERY nice and the hotel with clean and VERY QUIET!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Place to Stay in Santa Fe"
I was on my way from Denver, CO to Las Cruces, NM when I found this gem of a hotel online. We stayed for a great price right downtown Santa Fe. The staff was friendly and accessible, the atmosphere quirky and fun. My only regret is that we arrived too late to really get to enjoy the sights of Santa Fe. I would definitely return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel. Very eclectic, and the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small quite old style hotel. Very close downtown."
I was just there for a few hours and wanted a quick slice of Santa Fe. This hotel was perfect. It's a bit tricky to find, and parking before 6 p.m. is a challenge, but it was worth it. The Hotel consists of an older multi-use building in the heart of Santa Fe. You walk down the buildings hallway to find the checkin, but the guys that run the hotel were […] pleasant and helpful. The room was dark with little outside light, but did have a frig, coffee and micro. It reminded me of a small local hotel in San Fran or NYC which is a bit strange for New Mexico. So if you want the best value in a local stay with a perfect local to explore the central city, stay here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
great location and fine for one night. Room well-decorated and clean. Service sketchy - no one on duty at 8 a.m. to checkout. Funky decor in lobby which is reached down a dark hall way.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A terrific boutique hotel in Santa Fe"
a wonderful boutique hotel located just a block or so off the plaza; excellent service, interesting decor, large rooms, quiet, independent coffee/ice cream place at the front entrance, across the street from the santa fe library. Could not have been nicer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Location and quiet in DT Santa Fe"
We stayed 4 nights, and so manager 'upgraded' us to larger room. Outside patio and hottub a plus. The the best is that you walk everywhere, in 1 block of plaza, restaurants, and shuttle that gets you t Canyon Road, railyard or other areas of SF. Could not be nicer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our room was the size of a matchbox. The air conditioner did not work properly. Best feature was the good location. We will not be returning to this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I really enjoyed our stay. The room was great and clean. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. We could not ask for a better experience. The hotel is very close to, within walking distance, to all we wanted to see. We would use this hotel again. Thanks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect iconoclastic location near the Plaza"
This little jewel is the perfect spot for a Santa Fe visit. It is just 2, maybe 3 blocks from the plaza in the heart of the city. We found the informal check in and check out procedure refreshing... nothing to sign, no credit cards to run (granted, we had pre-booked with expedia). Just get your room code, and move in. This little boutique hotel is quite […] different than the "BIG" hotel experience... no restaurant, no grand entrance nor large lobby, no phone, and, presumably, no room service. But who needs or wants any of that useless stuff. Most travelers today just want a quite, nicely decorated homey room with a small refrig and coffee, and wireless access. check, check, and check. Oh, and don't worry about getting the special password for the wireless access... none is required. Just boot up and start surfing. And with more cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, etc within a couple of block walking distance than you could shake a stick at, what's not to like? If we had any complaint, it would be the lack of any hotel-owned parking, so guests are on their own for that. We were able to park every night right in front, on the street (free from 6 PM on), but in busier times that might not be an option. Otherwise, plan on $20/day for the public garage just next door (not sure if that allows multiple ingress/egress) Next time we return to Santa Fe (and we surely will), without question this is exactly where I'd want to stay again. We went on a road trip to see ,Route 66 ,Santa fe NM and Durango CO on the way to buy a classic car . I found this hotel on expedia and thought i'll give it a shot, as we like character, so we look for boutique hotels, and older buildings . To start ,the staff was amazing, we got lost and a staff member stayed on the phone until we could find the hotel. […] He later helped with the hot tub when we couldn't get to turn off. He even made us a map of the local fine dining places. The building itself is unique and beautiful. The hotel is hidden behind long winding hallways, that open into a huge beautiful lobby. The rooms are like apartments ,it has a sitting room and a bed room. everything is stylish and comfortable . Its a private hidden away place ,i'm sure kids would like it, as every electronic device is hooked to the tv, but its more fitting to use for a hidden getaway for yourself and someone special. It has the vibe of the kind of place famous people stay at, but you'd never know. I recommend the san francisco bar too , the food was great and its just across the park . everything was so cheap in Santa fe compared to my home town Las Vegas. I would love to stay with them again next time a grab a car in that neck of the woods. the only down side is the parking. you can park on the street for free after 6pm and before 8am ,holidays and maybe weekends. If you want to buy a spot in the garage next door, its 20 a day. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Fantastic area, designer hotel"
I picked this location for the neighborhood and was not disappointed! The gelato place in the same building didn't hurt either. I didn't read the details close enough and missed that they don't have parking, so be aware of that. Also, the room and bathroom were very, very nice, but didn't get any natural light, so if you need daylight you might want […] to check if they have rooms with better windows. "Nice hotel next to Plaza"
Very nice. A different kind of place. Has a bit of an Egyptian feel (hence The Luxx?). Very comfortable and clean. Is two short blocks to The Plaza. Over nite parking is $25/ night in parking garage next door. Parking free on streets from 6 PM to 8 AM. Will book again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect location in Santa Fe!"
Luxx Plaza hotel is in the perfect location, one block off the main Plaza, next to my favorite eating places, La Boca for one, and very well priced. The decor is lovely, a modern Asian-Southwest blend, very clean and comfortable. This will be my number one pick in Santa Fe from now one. Only 16 rooms though, and Alex, the Front Dest clerk is most helpful. […] parking is safe and convenient in the next door parking lot. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"close to Plaza"
iArrived early to Hotel Luxx asked for early check in but room were still to be cleaned. Front desk was able to set up parking in garage next door. After coming back to hotel for check in, had to wait for over ten minutes for someone to show up and staff Front Desk, never saw anyone working the front Desk after that. At check out, Sat morning, office/Front […] Desk lobby was locked up, so just slid parking garage key into mail slot. Hotel is easy enough to find and close to what we wanted to do for the 2 days in town. The room was nice looking and clean. Coffee pot did not fit coffee maker had to hold drip button on bottom of filter holder so the coffee would drain into pot. Good wifi connection in room. Exercise room where ice machine (dbl door refrig) was stank like someone dumped a load of dirty diapers in the trash cans, but with no one working the desk/lobby it wouldn't be discovered until later in the day. The hotel owners should consider having front desk/lobby manned on 24hr basis would make for faster check ins and check outs, people want to know that hey are being looked after when staying at a hotel, not a mail slot in the door. "What a Great Little Hotel!"
Stopped here overnight while on a road trip from Los Angeles to Texas. Needed a pet friendly hotel and this fit the bill perfectly. Front desk was friendly. Boutique style, decorated beautifully, very clean. Rooms are a little small, definitely a 1-2 person only room. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Sits behind a sushi bar, which was […] odd, but didn't affect the hotel. Parking cost an additional $25, but the meters are free after 6pm, so we were able to leave our car right in front overnight. Would recommend to anyone. Loved our stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient and priced right"
The atmosphere in the hotel is very Santa Fe, great artwork throughout. Overall it was a great stay, but little things add up - like the toilet paper holder falling apart, sloppy paint job on the ceiling and walls, light switch covers crooked, all add up to either a rushed, or just sloppy renovation. 3 cup coffee pot in a 5 cup coffee maker makes a […] mess... Not being able to use the AC during winter months makes sense, but when it's an 80+ day in May, it would have been nice to cool the room off a little... The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The Espresso/Gelato shop and the Sushi bar in the same building where very convenient. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Stay. Great Location. Great Deal"
I found a last minute room at this hotel while passing through Santa Fe. It's 50 yards off the main plaza, close to great places to eat, drink and people watch. "Very good location"
The hotel is in a good location. Bring enough quarters to feed the parking meters, staff is not helpful in this regard! The parking garage which the hotel offers is a lot more expensive than using the meters. Very good restaurants nearby, possible to do everything on foot. Hotel room has no landline phone. Otherwise it's well equipped.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Funky but Fun"
Truly enjoyed our stay at the Luxx Plaza Hotel. It was downtown and yet not outrageously expensive. The decor was original, funky and fun. The parking is a bit tricky. Call and arrange for paid secured garage parking. Worth it. We had the two bedroom suite. The front room was a bit noisy as there didn't seem to be much insulation between the room and […] the hallway. Back room was quiet. It had fantastic soaps and lotion that smelled of lavender. Bring your own bottled water (wish they supplied that) I found the pillows a bit stiff, so if that's important, bring your own. I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
