We so enjoyed our stay. We had 4 adults staying in the studio room and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchenette was handy and because the bathroom and shower are in a separate room from the sink and counter we were able to share the bathroom area nicely. We only had one glitch with the water not getting hot but we called the […] office and they told us how to deal with this and we were good to go. The facilities are amazing and we had a blast. It's a beautiful area. We loved the cookies that get delivered every evening. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointed - pricey for the room"
This was a very pricey hotel room (studio room)- $200/night. Have stayed in $100 hotel rooms with the same accommodations. The bathroom does not have a vanity to put your toiletries. A Big inconvenience. The view was out to a bunch of trees. There was some wrappers (trash) under the table that was not cleaned up prior to us checking in. The TV is very […] inconveniently located to be viewed from the bed. It was an older TV directed to the very hard to sit on sofa. The walls are thin. The people in the room next to mine made noise up to 11 pm (sounded like they were opening and closing cabinets in their kitchenette.) I would not recommend this to my friends or family. Loved this place. Very easy to handle with multiple young children. Great views. Nice pools. Upbeat people.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Almost no detail is overlooked - almost."
Everything about the room, the property, the dining options on site was superb. From the lodge pole pine columns to the deer antler drawer pulls, Big Cedar & the Wilderness Club never fail to deliver quality even in the minutest of details. One stark exception to this; however, was the amount of noise carryover between adjacent rooms. Our 1BR studio […] had a shared door to an adjacent unit (occupied by another party), which seemed to allow an excessive amount of sound to transfer. This flaw would not stop me from staying here again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Complete Escape in Branson - Love this place!"
This was our second trip to Big Cedar this year, and we never get tired of it! If you want to completely get away from everything, this is where you want to go. My husband and I took our son a couple of times and have made the trip alone and we loved both experiences. Once you arrive at the resort you don't even have to drive - you can walk the beautiful […] paths or take a shuttle everywhere on the resort property. We took our son on the Polar Express train ride on Main Street, which is only a 15 minute drive away. The food is wonderful at the resort restaurants, but if you rent a unit with a kitchen they provide everything you need - even the laundry and dish detergents. This resort is a true outdoors resort, with horseback riding, boating, fishing, swimming, playgrounds, etc. or you can just snuggle up by the fireplace. Dogwood Canyon is nearby, and I would highly suggest going. They have 3+ miles of paved trails with beautiful scenic views. You can rent bikes, take a tram, or walk the path. I believe everyone needs to experience this resort. It's truly magical. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Such a beautiful property"

We stayed here because we bought a week vacation package from the Bass Pro Shop. We had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Presidential Suite which was amazing. Beautifully decorated, bed was awesome and our adult son had his own room. We love all the little extras, the pool, warm cookies in the afternoon and a fantastic view. The grounds are very well maintained and the lake is amazing. Boat rentals are reasonable and the restaurants and entertainment on site was very good

Staying in 3000 building, 2 bedroom, 2 bath chalet. Beautiful, private to building, pools and hot tub, love the decor and space and comfort level of rooms. Couldn't ask for a more beautiful location. Lots of things to do and enjoy. Whole area at TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN, just rebuilt, is unbelievable too! All I really want to say is AHHHHHHH...
"Great family vacation spot"
08/31/14 heather6jdl San Francisco, California
We vacation here every single year as a family--there is something for everyone! Between the pools and the lazy river, we swim every day. We attend at least one dive-in movie at the pool during the week. We always participate in a few of the paid extras, usually Bingo and the scavenger hunt (champions this year!). One tip: we prefer the boat rentals from State Park Marina vs Big Cedar's marina--they have better rates and larger double-decker pontoons, with slides, that will fit up to 18 people. The restaurants on-site are good, but over-priced. We always stock up at the Walmart in Branson and cook most meals in our room--they have all of the utensils and dishes you'll need. The outdoor grills are usually packed during dinner time, so just make sure you get your spot staked out early. If you do want a nice dinner out though, make reservations at Top of the Rock. It's a short drive over--spectacular views and good food on a fancy golf course.
"Amazing vacation destination!"

My husband and I just came home from a week at Wilderness Club at Big Cedar. It was amazing. There was so much to do, it was so beautiful, and everyone was super nice. We stayed in a studio unit, and it was very spacious. Plenty of room for preparing meals in the room (there is a stove top, microwave, toaster and mini fridge). The decor was rustic and the property was very clean. We loved all of the outdoor activities offered, especially Stand Up Paddleboard fitness. The pools and lazy river were awesome. Big Cedars pools are salt water, Wilderness club's are standard chlorine. Dogwood Canyon was a must see, just a quick drive down the road. And Top of the Rock is too gorgeous to miss! The food at Arnies Barn was amazing. Food and entertainment at the Big Cedar resort was also great. Don't miss Clay Self performing every night at the Buzzard Bar. Cant say enough great things, and we can't wait to go back next year!!
"Big Cedar Wilderness Club is wonderful!!"

My brother and his family met my husband & I at Big Cedar for a 4 night stay. The Wilderness Club offered very affordable rates with very nice rooms that included a kitchen or kitchenette, balcony, wonderful view and very nice room. They also had patio areas available for outdoor eating and numerous grills available. The resort has numerous pools and some free activities. They provide a schedule of daily events and offer many activities for a fee (horse back riding, etc). Our family enjoyed the segway tour, boat rental and the golfing at the Top of the Rock.
"Beautiful and fun place to take the family"

We stayed here for a few days and loved every minute of it. This was a fun place to take the kids on our vacation before school starts. The grounds were immaculate, and there was plenty to do. We really enjoyed all of the fun activities, and the staff was friendly at every turn. We can't wait to go back again in the future.
"Enjoyable family resort"

We had a two-bedroom timeshare condo. It was spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The pools are excellent and the ammenities at neighboring Big Cedar Lodge are fun and well-tailored to families with kids. I read other reviews about noise and it was a little noisy, but really not that bad. It's like living in an apartment building. I was surprised that there was no housekeeping service during out week stay, but they did bring fresh towels and laundry and dish detergent when we called. They also bring cookies and coffee every evening. I would come back to this resort. Good times and good value.
"Big Cedar Wilderness Club"

Our family stayed at Wilderness Big Cedar Club on Aug., 8th - 10th, 2014 and had a wonderful time. The view was spectacular, and staff were willing to help with any questions we had. There was shopping, miniature golf, swimming....something for everyone. I would highly recommend Big Cedar for a great time.
"Our hands down favorite vacation !!!"
08/11/14 MJM31 Cedar Rapids, Iowa
My husband first visited Big Cedar 7 yrs ago and since that time, we've been coming back here at least 2-3x per year with family & friends. There is something for everyone. Two mini-golf courses, 4+ pools & hot tubs, 3 gyms, shuffleboard, resturants, coffee shop, gift shop, nightly entertainment for adults and kids including marshmellow roasts around the camp fire, carriage rides, lots of walking & hiking trails, boat ramp including free canoe & kayak rentals, fishing, SUP, gym classes, bingo and more ! We love sharing this wonderful resort that is BEAUTIFUL anytime of the year !!! Shuttle drivers take & pick you up with a simple phone call. You won't be disappointed :)
"Customer Service is Terrible"
This place is beautiful, however their snarky shuttle drivers, rude guest relation people, and lack of advertised amenities made our stay below average. We have been here many times, and this time was the worst customer service I've experienced.
