Warm, friendly welcome from Kate.Large family room for the two of us, at back of hotel. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Thought we may have to negotiate M1 each time we left but there is access onto quiet, country road at the back. Would consider staying again.

A comfortable motel which is easy to reach from the M1... but heaven help you if you're not on the motorway. The postcode makes it almost impossible to find when travelling across country. What should have been an 18 mile and 35 minute drive took us over 80 minutes. We were taken down the bumpiest dirt track it has ever been my misfortune to try to […] drive down and over a motorway bridge that we could see the motel from but could not get to it. When we mentioned this to the very pleasant receptionist, he told us that it was a very common problem due to the postcode being shared with a village on the other side of the motorway. hotel was as you would expect for a services hotel, clean tidy usual facilities. But locking the door was an art which we just could not master. neither could a relative in a different room. Locks / key system need to be updated.

Stayed one night.No problems with check in.Very pleasent staff.Rooms clean with everything you would want, just as good as rooms costing £100 a night.Although it was on the M1 services it was very quiet.If in the area again i would have no qualms about staying there again

Friendly greeting, non smoking room stank of cigarettes, only food available from a limited and expensive motorway services or a costcutters (at least I could get a bottle of wine!)...overall value for money and probably would stay again

vpleasantly surprised, quality in between travelodge and premier inn. only negative was mould on ceiling above bath and mould in grouting on tiled wall in bathroon. stayed in room 6.

Once we got into our room it was very good. However it would have been helpful if the directions had said that the hotel was on the northern carriageway as we had to find our way via the service gates which would have been very difficult in the dark! There was no food available on the northern carriageway so we had to walk to the McDonalds on the southern […] carriageway (via the service gates once more!). The main problem we had however was that the hotel did not have our booking on their computer system so we had a lengthy book in having to speak to Expedia on the phone to confirm our booking. We arrived late at 11.45pm and reception staff were very helpful and service was offered with a smile, with extra tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The room was spacious, clean but basic. Extra pillows were provided , but were not too comfortable. Everything was in working condition in the bathroom. In the morning, when leaving had to buzz for staff and […] wait as the reception was unattended, but again staff was very friendly and helpful. advised us to use the barriers to go back on the M1 South, which saved us a few miles. No frills hotel, but very clean, well equipped and friendly staff. Beware it is only accessible via the M1, so if you type the postcode it will take you yards away but you will not be able to get in, having to do a 15 min detour.

Convenient location, clean rooms, very quiet. Ideal location for visiting Derbyshire area. Access roads make sure Inn is accessible from either side of motorway.

Hotel, room and personnell is ok but the parking system is a big problem, the log-on system doesn't work all the time but the video-log registers the car entry and exit - so you end up getting a parking penalty fee. The big issue is that it takes a lot of time and effort to get the money back.
