This is a new hotel that is obviously of high quality and standards. From the moment we checked in, we were impresssed with the enthusiam and friendliness of the staff, as well as their willingness to help make the stay as wonderful as possible. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was incredible. As food is generally expensive in Stockholm, […] the breakfast is well worth the price, as we could get by with a light snack for lunch after such a delicious, substantial breakfast. The location is great if you are at a metting at the Congress Center (it is connected), or if you want or need to be near the central train, bus or subway (tbana) stations (connected to all of these). It feels slightly apart from the rest of downtown Stockholm because of being in this 'hub' of transportation and meeting facilities, but a 5 minute walk gets you into the rest of the city or onto a subway to where you want to go. We stayed here after a cruise. Took taxi from pier (around $25 but be selective of taxi to choose!). Location was great (we chose this specifically for the location next to train station.). Service was outstanding, room was nice, and we were able to check in at 8:30am which was an unexpected plus. One final thing: taking the Arlanda Expreswrote airport […] was very convenient BUT it turns out if you pick the right taxi, it can be cheaper for two to go this route. If you don't want to drag your bags through the the train station (particularly during rush hour) it might be worth it. Read more

We had a room with a Queen size bed. The room wa clean and large enough for 2 people. Bathroom was a little tight for space but has a fantastic shower massage. Staff was friendly and helpful. They recommended some geat restaurants that were not touristy. Would definitely stay here again.

I surprised my wife with a trip to Stockholm for our anniversary. I chose Radisson Blu Waterfront based on reviews online. Perfect choice. Even got a special dessert after anniversary meal. The only thing I missed was not having computer access. We had to be admitted to the Business Center upon request. The last major hotel that I stayed in in Europe had computers available in the lobby area.

While I can't think of anything truly negative to say about the hotel, I also can't think of much positive. A boring, standard 4 star at a high price. Located right by the central train station, but not close to anything else (about a ten minute walk to the nearest point of interest#. Keep in mind that, even if called the Waterfront, half the rooms […] are facing away from the water and you may be staring at a building from those rooms #happened to me#, so good luck #there was not a way to pay extra to secure a water-facing room, as I paid for a "superior" room that still faced away from the water#. There is also not a sky bar with a view, which was something I definitely expected at this type of hotel #and I am sure would be appreciated by half the hotel guests staring at the aforementioned building). I had to stay here for a night after visiting Linkoping for the week. I had a lot of luggage and wanted someplace close to the train station. The hotel was outstanding from the quality of service to the room amenities. I had to leave at 0430 to catch a flight and they had my breakfast waiting outside my door at 0400. First of all, the included breakfast buffet was fantastic, not to mention the staff were so brilliant. In fact all of them, from Reception to Restaurant. We never tried the Restaurant as we find it very expensive though. We were upgraded to Business class room, and the toilletries were good quality. The only downside is the shower, very low pressure […] and the glass wall was not enough to cover the whole shower so the water tends to wet the floor near the sink. The Radisson Blu is a very professional, extremely well kept hotel. The rooms and the building are immaculate. It is not quite a luxurious as at might be for the price, but the rooms are large, very modern, have good natural light, and are kept, like the rest of the hotel, immaculately clean. We stayed in their "Business Class" rooms when visiting Stockholm, and this hotel is really in the top of its league. It is located close by to the Central Station, making commuting around Stockholm very convenient. The Airport Express train takes 20 minutes and also stops at the station. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious enough to accommodate […] two big pieces of luggage. But it was the service and breakfast service that made this hotel stand out. Service - The hotel staff were extremely friendly and actually took time to help us when we approached the front desk for directions. They even printed us maps and public transit guides to help us get to our destinations. When we returned to the hotel at the end of the day, the front desk staff asked us how our sightseeing went, and suggested other sights for the next day. Very personalized service! Breakfast - It does get a little cramped and there can be a queue for breakfast, but the wait is worth it. One of the best breakfast service I've ever seen from a hotel, the offerings include goose liver pate, smoked salmon and pickled herrings in addition to a large selection of the usual dishes. Do yourself a favor and go down early - avoid the queue, and leave yourself plenty of time to savor the delectable fare. We would definitely return to this hotel if we found ourselves back in Stockholm. Read more

Its location next to Stockholm Central Station puts the Radisson Blu Waterfront hotel just a few minutes walk from the Arlanda Express platform and the express train to the airport. Many of the rooms offer views of Stockholm city hall and Gamla Stan; our first room provided only a view of the next-door convention center, and had other shortcomings, […] such as limited storage, but the staff quickly and pleasantly offered us another room. One drawback: While the new room had more shelf space, there are no drawers for storage, but a staff member said the hotel, which opened at the beginning of 2011, is considering installing them. Bathrooms were stylish, with blue slate walls and floors (and the floor was heated, too). Bedding was comfortable. The grey and charcoal hallways were restful. The lounge was a busy place on the two weekend nights we were there, and while the hotel was nearly full, lines for the extensive breakfast buffet moved quickly, and there was plenty of seating.
