This hotel was lovely. The only problem that other travelers should be aware of is that the front of the hotel and those rooms are right next to an Interstate. However, the heating/air unit blocked out the noise of the traffic. Ask for a room on the opposite side if noise is a big factor. It wasn't an issue for us.

I love the rooms. My concern was pet friendly atmosphere i keep thinking i am sleeping on a bed where a dog slept. I did know when I booked the hotel it was pet friendly. Buyers be aware!!! Yes of course there were dogs barking a few times!!

2.2 stars?? I'm confused. This property is easily 4+ stars. I'm very picky about accommodations and this was a great place to stay. No problems at all. I did not try the breakfast, but the room was perfect. Extremely clean and comfortable. Booked it through Hotels.com and got a great rate. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights. After being away during the day and returning the second night, we returned to our room, beds still unmade and bathroom uncleaned. The traffic noise outside was loud and the light from the outside sign was shining in our room at night....and the drapes wouldn't close! The beds were not comfortable. Stayed here 1 night with my wife...great building which is less than 2 years old. Building and room were clean and taken care of. BUT the staff at the front desk could barely understand English. I had to go there for soap and shampoo which was not is the bathroom, the front desk clerk did not know what I was saying. Finally another staff person arrived […] and helped. Additional I am a lap swimmer, so I another staff member at 6 AM Saturday morning if he would unlock the indoor pool area so I could exercise in the pool. He was cold and arrogant, telling me their normal pool hours which opened at 9 AM (an hour after my check out). In my humble opinion, my special request was not that big a deal since the hotel was less than 25% full due to holiday. No one else was in the hotel lobby or pool area for another hour. Next time I make this journey, I will check into the another new hotel which is next door. Read more

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The only small issue we noticed was a used tissue under one bed. The room, and bathroom were clean. The linens were crisp and fresh. It had a small fridge and microwave that we did not expect. Overall our experience was superb and we will stay at other locations in this chain of motels.

This was a stop on our way to NH from SC. Found the hotel online and choose it because it was newer. Nice new decor and no old smoke smells. Location is good for eating and shopping. I would stay here again. Like all hotels in this area, it is off the highway so the front rooms get some traffic noise. The hotel is new and very clean and comfortable. The staff helpful and the amenities, such as the pool very good. It sits along side a very busy highway an d there was a great deal of traffic noise. The main thing was that the breakfast was disappointing. The food area was far too small for the size of the hotel and in comparison with other hotels […] , some LaQuinta, where I have stayed, the breakfast choices were meager. Too little food and thge service area was so small that all the guest had to stand waiting to use the waffle maker or get drinks. The overall facility was new and nice. Beds were comfortable and everything functioned properly. However, the back of the toilet was not clean either of the two days we stayed. Also, the breakfast room was not staffed and items ran empty. There was only one toaster and one waffle iron and MANY people waiting. Several small issues added up for a less than pleasant stay: First, the sheets on one of the beds smelled like body odor. The front desk gave us a clean set but we had to change the linens ourselves. Our room was directly across from the pool... when we were standing in our doorway we could see into the pool. It was an odd location. After checking […] in, we had to go back out to our car. We realized we could easily see directly into our room from the parking lot. We had absolutely zero privacy unless we used the the light blocking curtain. The air conditioning was extremely noisy when it kicked on and woke us up several times. We could also hear a lot of noise from the highway. The hotel is much further from Gettysburg than listed on hotels.com. 24 miles in reality against 9.4 miles on the hotels.com listing. Otherwiese a nice standard hotel that even got a spa and pool. We booked this hotel under two very special circumstances: 1) that it was close to Gettysburg PA which we were taking our grandkids to and 2) that it was a suite that gave them enough room to not be cramped. Not Happy when we found out that the hotel was 33 miles from Gettysburg (not 9 we were told) and that the suites were only for King size beds only, […] not the two queens that we had. The rooms are terrific. They are large with separate sleeping and sitting areas separated by an archway. Good desk with good lighting. Ample electrical outlets. A very good place to work for an extended period. The gym is decent and the indoor pool is particularly nice. Bathroom is basic, but it has a tub, something that is disappearing from much more […] expensive chains. The windows don't open, but the mechanical ventilation is effective and quiet. The lack of blackout drapes makes first floor room a bit uncomfortable. Everything feels fresh and clean. The restaurants in the area are either chains or mediocre local fare -- typical strip mall stuff. Downtown Chambersburg is nice, with a few local gems. It is worth driving a few miles.
