Classic "listed" property in the west end with a cozy "homely" atmosphere; well-prepared food and generous breakfast offering; staff responsive and accommodating when called upon to help with travel glitches. Great place for people watching, too, as it is a popular venue.

First, this hotel is ideally situated -- in walking distance to many key sites in Glasgow and great shopping, restaurants and theatres. The rooms are really comfortable -- spacious bedroom and bathroom, comfy quilt and pillows. And super CLEAN! The buffet breakfast is quite a spread -- cooked breakfast of sausages, eggs, baked beans, all sorts of breads, granola and yoghurt, and cheeses. Even a cappucino/latte machine and a variety of fresh juices. The best is that the welcome you receive from the front desk and their friendly help and support throughout your stay will make you feel very well looked after! I will definitely come back to this hotel again and I recommend it highly!

Very smart hotel in an area where some of the other houses and hotels are a bit tired looking. No atmosphere at breakfast - very quiet - could do with a bit of that awful musak to break the ice. Staff friendly. No restaurant but I found the very good Mother India nearby.

Helt ok hotell. Jättetrevlig receptionist, annars var det inte mycket som imponerade.Duschen tog minst sagt väldigt god tid på sig innan den blev varm, och elementet på rummet värmde inte upp mer än typ två kvadratmeter av rummet så det var iskallt i rummet. Vi fick ingen roomservice, dvs. nya handdukar och ingen sängbäddning. Annars var allt OK.

Great location close to Kelvingrove museum, SECC, Botanical gardens & lots of interesting small restaurants. Everything worked well except plumbing which makes strange noises in some of the rooms (and the rooms upstairs are very close to the kitchen and the breakfast room, so there's some noise in the morning to these rooms).

Anbefaler ikke. Slitent, dårlig vedlikehold, microfrokost, utrolig slitsom lyd fra pumpe og baderomsvifte, lydt, kaldt rom, det var billig, men ikke bra. Resten blir pirk, men vi booker ikke dette igjen. Området er veldig fint, med mye bra restauranter, det fins bedre steder rundt i nærheten.
