Positive: Comfortable one night-stay hotel. Location is great. Staff is friendly and very professional. Transportation to a train station is very convenient. Negative: Rooms are small. Shower/bathroom walls made out of glass and are semi-translucent. Hidden costs are quite high for four nights an additional cost was equivalent to one extra night. Overall: Good impression

Hotel is located right in the heart of the old, scenic town, on a fuhsganger, so parking is not too far away but not at the property. Everything to see is within just a few minutes walk, and lots of restaurants in immediate area. Checked in late and had to leave early, so did not eat the breakfast or use the hotel much beyond the room. Small, typical room. Quiet, clean, and modern bath included.

walking distance to shopping platz n restaurants. the hotel original feel was romantic n charming .. even the slight musty smell added to the mood. room was spacious n comfortable. lots of windows n 2 balconies a plus. will visit again

This is a typcial European Hotel. The rooms are small but clean. Overall it is acceptable for a short stay. The parking lot is is very difficult to manuever if you have a larger vehicle. The location is excellent, being just a few blocks from the city center.

I chose this hotel because I wanted to experience a quaint hotel in a German village on the Rhine. It certainly was in a good location, close to the rhine and the town but not really the cozy romantic German abode I was looking forward to. Pros: inexpensive continental breakfast (but you'll need to request fresh coffee as a carafe had been sitting […] on our table when we sat down for who knows how long). It was a good location. Parking across the street was affordable. Cons: the toilet clogged immediately upon first use (and not because of what you might think!), the heat did not work in our room (and when the temperature drops below 5C, that's a problem) the sheets didn't smell fresh and the tv (an LCD, at least) came out of the wall when we tried to swivel it because it wasn't attached to studs. There was no free wifi and a less than desirable decor of purple walls and fake dusty flowers. Although these might seem like trivial complaints, they added up to a pretty terrible stay and we were happy to leave. If a romantic getaway on the Rhine is what you seek, spend a little more for something in better shape and something a little more cared for. Read more

When I booked this hotel, I thought that I had booked in the hotel. I would not have paid the rate for the annex, which was only 100 yards away. But was nothing more than a guest house. With no facilities. The staff were friendly, the breakfast adequate and the hotel it self was lovely. But what I got was not worth the price, especially as there were […] many zimmer frei signs all over town and I could have got better for the money. Oh well, lesson learnt, and next year I will make sure that I am in a hotel and not a house down the road. Read more

Hotel is well decorated and clean. It is right opposite the carpark where you can stay 24 hours for 5euro, so it is ideal for a visit to Rudesheim. The annexes are even better positioned nearer to the action.

Ett väldigt trevligt hotell med atmosfär! Speciellt med den ngt överdrivna "dekorationen" överallt men det tar man som ett tecken på en hotellägare som bryr sig! Vi åt frukost och middag på hotellet - maten helt OK och prisvärd men vill man äta annat så finns många andra matställen i närheten. Nära till den fina linbanan upp till en utsikt över Rhen. […] Det enda negativa jag kommer på är en mkt dyr avgift för internet: 3,5 euro/tim! Det finns internetcafé nere vid floden där du kan surfa gratis, 2-300 meter fr hotellet. Read more

Hyggeligt hotel præcis som det skal være i denne by. Vi havde et lidt gammeldags værelse med en god seng med rigtige dun dyner og puder. Skønt i forhold til de puder og tæpper, som findes på de fleste hoteller i syden. Vi så, at flere af værelserne var nyistandsatte, rigtig pænt! Fin morgenmads buffet og vi kommer gerne igen.

Nous avions retenu cette chambre double dans l'hôtel principal et avons finalement été dans l'annexe, au tarif identique. Nous n'avons pas compris De même, nous n'avons pas compris pourquoi le tarif à la personne était nettement plus élévé que celui d'une chambre individuelle. Hôtel recommandé ? Nous sommes partagés.

Mycket välskött och personligt hotell med vänlig personal och helt egen stil. Inrett med stora mängder prydnadssaker och blommor i alla sorter och former. Fin frukostbuffé. Hotellet beläget några hundra meter från Rhen och från bergbanan upp till en fantastisk utsikt över floden och Bingen på andra sidan. Båt över för bil/mc till rimlig kostnad.
