Civic Center Inn Santa Ana - Orange

The owner was very helpful as there was a last minute change to this hotel. He took cash for incidentals. The place is under renovation...my shower or hair dryer didn't work . They were coming the next day to begin renovating. Because it was last minute, he had no choice but to give me that room. No refrigerator. Clean bed.

The hotel staff is very sketch. We had people meet up at our room a d the guy at the front desk came knocking asking us what was going on and reminded us that only 3 people were allowed to stay. Our room itself was not in the best condition. There was water damage so the wallpaper by the door was peeling off, there was ash on the floor by the bed, there […] was a funky odor, and to top it off there was an open condom wrapper under nod of the beds. Our room was too hot air conditioner didn't work very well and the ice maker was out of service. The pillows were very flat and worn out couldn't sleep on them.

I had a decent stay...due to the fact, I'm not a demanding person. 2 lights were out in the room, the tub looked like it was in the middle of being remodeled, so if I wanted to take a bath instead of a shower...would've never done it. Can't speak about the other rooms, but ours was in very poor condition. Fixture missing from ceiling, no covers on wall plugs, bath tube surface peeling, mold at base of tub, carpet not clean and pillow cases not clean. And during the night something caused holes and tears in a pair of pants.

We were here last minute because we were going to disney land early in the morning. So when we arrived I had to yell to catch some ones attention. Then when we walked to our room we noticed a hooker going into one of the rooms. Then I saw the walls were rotted and the walls paper was held up by a thumb tack. The bathroom and the front door lights were […] the only ones that worked. Then my husband looked at the been to see if there were bed bugs and we noticed what looked to be a blood stain then when he pulled the covers back there was a dead bug on the pillows. And then when. I went to the bath room I couldn't wash my hands because the towels had what looked to be dried out toothpaste on them. Then there were black dots all over the tub and cigarret burns on the carpet and ash as well. It was so bad we had to leave and try to find another place. What was not to love? The pay by the hour feel of the place or the gum stuck to the front of the headboard. The place is dirty and run down.

This is not a place we can recomment to anybody. There were people sitting on the stairs all day long. It was also very dirty outside the hotel, under the stairs.

this place is good to stay at if your only using it to sleep the price was a little high for the type of room we got. also the ice machine was broken.
