I have travelled to over 54 countries ranging from Singapore, Norway, Colombia and South Africa to mention a few. In all my travels I have never experienced such a romantic and charming hotel as the Auberge du Choucas. We arrived far later than expected but was greeted in an exceptionally warm manner by the owner. For those of you who wants a peaceful and utterly charming hotel, this is it.

Points forts : bonne literie, confort, pas de bruit exterieur, petit déjeuner copieux. Points faibles : odeur de tabac froid dans la chambre, difficulté pour trouver une place de parking devant l'hôtel ( le parking servant pour l'hôtel et le Géant jouxtant l'hôtel )

Hotel bien situé, permet de se rendre au circuit de courses sur glace de serre chevalier. Visiter Briançon et ses forts , vue superbe sur montagnes enneigées. Personnel très agréable et très disponible. Seul bémol, le manque de chauffage.

Pas de chambre fumeur mais le réceptionniste nous a changé de chambre pour une avec balcon, grande chambre avec un lit en 180 mais matelas trop souple et un canapé devant la télé, le top! Pour le reste c'est une chaine donc pas de mauvaise surprise! On reviendra.

On a attendu que le fax veuille bien fonctionner pour qu il retrouve notre réservation. La chambre la moquette était tachée et le café qui d'habitude est distribué par une machine automatique la nous avions du café brûlé imbuvable.

Hôtel propre, silencieux, seule la climatisation en ce jour de forte chaleur n'était pas assez efficace, mais le personnel très à l'écoute nous a dit que nous aurions dû lui signaler le soir même. Petit déjeuner buffet suffisant.
