Beautiful rooms. Very pleasant staff. Excellent service. There is nothing like a great hotel and they get it right. I stay here despite having my business in the City. So, the location isn't great for me but I stay here anyway.

The hotel was lovely and the staff very accommodating. The only problem I had was that the bathtub is very deep and difficult to climb out of! The first time I took a shower I had to call to my daughter to help me get out. There needs to be a bar to help with climbing out. Apart from that it was very nice and I would definitely recommend it.

If you like first rate hotels and converted train stations (and I mean this is the best way), then you'll love the St Pancras. The building is a delight for anyone with an interest in architecture, with a lobby and restaurant that are airy and wonderful to look at. I stayed in the Barlow wing, which is a modern add-on. The only real downside is the location, which is great if you're planning take the train or underground, but pretty dead in terms of nightlife. We recently stayed at the St Pancras London for one night, Friday April, 13th. We were in route from Paris on the Eurostar back home to the U.S. It takes us a little longer to get packed than what I anticipated so we decide to forgo the full breakfast. On the way down the lift I mention to my wife that there appears to be a platter of complimentary […] pastries in the lobby. At least that's what I thought. There was no price displayed or any other indication otherwise and my reservation says 'Breakfast Included'. Just as I finish checking out, I look over and my wife is motioning for me to come over and she has a most peculiar look on her face. She is standing beside a hotel employee. She says “This woman basically accused us of trying to steal this food . You need to pay her for this.” She has one croissant and sweet roll in her hand. Without questioning, I hand the woman a 10 pound note. She mutters something about having to get change and comes back with a 1 pound coin. Nine pounds for 2 pastries? I fee like I've been a victim of some circus baiting game. My wife is very upset and embarrassed by this whole affair. We eat as fast as possible and we get out of the lobby. I felt like we got very poor service for such an expensive hotel. No one at check-in or check-out said anything about breakfast. Neither where it was served or what was included. Marriot is normally my first choice for a hotel chain here in the States, so this rudeness really surprised me. Read more

Very exquist hotel, has a feel of old london with modern amenities, near international and domestic train stations (kings cross---where harry potter was filmed), somewhat far from main city attractions. you'll to need taxi or use the undergound, or the green link, to hop on the tourist buses that go around london. overall very nice hotel.

Our experience at the St. Pancras Renaissance was wonderful! We arrived earlier than our scheduled check-in time and they quickly accommodated us with a room that was available. The rooms were fantastic - clean, spacious, and well-equipped. They supply everything to make the hotel as homelike as possible including everything from fuzzy slippers and […] Q-Tips! The staff was always available to answer our questions. They were extremely professional, kind, and knowledgeable. We did not eat in the hotel, but the restaurants were certainly packed during the day and evening hours leading me to assume that they are good places to dine at. We picked the hotel because of it's proximity to the Eurostar terminal which is literally just beneath the hotel. Being in the heart of Kings Cross also meant that we were by almost every Underground Line and had readily accessible access to all of London. The physical hotel is beautiful. An old train station that has been meticulously restored. There is also a great area for meetings, two very cool bars and easy access to the Tube and the Eurostar. It is not as centrally located as other hotels I have stayed in but it's a place I found worth the stay. We stayed here mainly for it's location to our daughter's student housing. We booked it before we realized the hotels rich history and beauty! Could not be any closer to the underground and the St. Pan Cras station....attached to the hotel! The staff was attentive and personable, the room, average size for Europe, but full of comfort and amenities! […] Even had a heated bathroom mirror to prevent fogging! Had a wonderful stay here on a family trip with our three-year-old. The hotel is a walk to the British Museum and other sights in Bloomsbury, and because it is adjacent to St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations (with a side entrance literally inside the St. Pancras station), is a center for bus and tube lines, as well as heavy rail for day trips. But […] this is easily the most beautiful urban hotel I have ever visited, and the hoopla over its recent renovation, if anything, understates its beauty -- returning through the brick tower and lobby took our breath away every evening. While the interior rooms in the modern wing, where we stayed, seem like modern hotel rooms (very nice and comfortable ones with the comforts of fully modern plumbing and soundproofing), the entrance, lobby, restaurants and all visible exteriors are restored and gorgeous. Both the fine dining restaurant, the Gilbert Scott, offers an elegant dining room and a delicious and innovative take on traditional British fare, and the bar in the more casual Booking Room has excellent cocktails. Cannot believe we did not see this hotel sooner. This hotel is an absolute gem. The staff is outstanding as are the rooms and service. You are greeted by staff members with a friendly smile and a hello as you go along your merry way. The hotel is stunning and very convenient due to location over train station and multiple Underground lines. You can get any where you want in London within minutes, however, surrounding neighborhood is "transitory" and avoid rooms on the ground floor of the hotel due to noise and rumbling caused by trains below starting at around 5 am.

I wanted to experience a night at this hotel having seen a documentary on TV which included a section on the restoration of the hotel.It is a unique building which sets it apart from alternatives in the area. The reception / public area's are well decorated and tasteful in the way the original features have been used to best effect. St Pancras was on my bucket list to stay. It did not dissappoint. Check in was easy and enabled early for us. We had the most gorgeous afternoon tea, which was explained and enabled every step by the attentive Tam, whose smile was a bonus to our experience. We were able to add in a visit to the British Library, even though our stay was so short, due […] to its proximity to the hotel. This is a place you all have to visit. The room was beautiful, spacious, and a sanctuary. I swam in the pool at night, alone, and it was also a beautiful experience with coloured lights and attentive people who are attached to the spa and pool. I used the steam room and the volcanic shower, but could not find the button to activate the spa jets.
