We stayed a total of two nights and wished we were able to stay longer. Although our stay was in early October and the weather was somewhat overcast and gray, we truly enjoyed everything about Chateau Pomys. If you are looking for a full service hotel with every amenity this is not the place for you. However, if you enjoy doing your own thing and having great privacy, it is the perfect place to be. Everywhere you look the surrounding countryside is spectacular and a day trip to St. Emilion is an absolute must.
Location.
O Village Le Cordouan is situated in Soulac-sur-Mer and regional attractions include Cordouan Lighthouse, Saint-Georges-de-Didonne Beach, and Royan Church of Notre-Dame. Additional regional attractions include Royan Beach and Le Chay Beach.

In the northern tip of the Médoc, this is the largest seaside resort of the Aquitaine region. It is tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde Estuary on the Côte d'Argent (Silver Coast), and has a splendid seven-kilometre long sandy beach framed by dunes. As well as beach life there is mountain-biking, horse-riding, even sky diving on offer. The Romanesque Notre-Dame de la Fin des Terres basilica is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
