Great small hotel, well...let me take that back: the room is actually a small one room apartment, so is quite big, compared to a regular hotel room. The area is perfect with great restaurants and places to go at a walking distance, very safe too. I wanted a happening place with city noise, it was perfect for me, but if you need a silent place that does not wake the kids up at night don’t go there (I mean the neighborhood or Mexico city for that matters, not the hotel)

This century-plus aged hotel is stunningly beautiful inside. Look in even if you don't stay here. My suite was large and well appointed, but the AC didn't really cool the room and the bed was very squeaky. In short, it looked great but functioned a little less well. That said, I will stay here again on my next trip.
Location.
Conveniently near the airport in the heart of Mexico City, Lumina Luxury Suites is close to Museo Rufino Tamayo, U.S. Embassy, and British Embassy. Also nearby are Castillo de Chapultepec and Monumento a los Ninos Heroes.
Features.

"Good boutique option"
Small hotel had nicely appointed rooms and very friendly and personalized service. Good location near Camino Real, with some great taquerias just out the door. Noise was an issue- a loud event on a Wed night that went to 1 AM, and loud music on their patio some other nights. The suite was comfortable and well appointed - perfect for two people with different sleep schedules. The continental breakfast delviered to the room was a nice touch. "Lovely Little Hotel"
Island of peace to escape to from the craziness of Mexico City. Small boutique hotel. All rooms are suites and individually decorated. Wonderful staff. Very comfortable beds and high quality very soft bed linens and towels. Would highly recommend.
Very good suite and service. Close to museums, but not walking distance to central Polanco where all the good shopping and restaurants are.

En general es muy cómodo y de buen gusto, pero está muy aislado y no tiene estacionamiento.
